Event Update For 2015-09-24

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2015-09-24 - Passenger plane hit by 'bang', spits sparks and fire, makes emergency landing on the island of Bali (Indonesia):

Quote: "Joel Sirna, a passenger on the flight, said he and others were woken up by a loud noise and then shuddering off the Bali coast. 'Mid-flight, we heard a loud bang and the plane started to shake,' he told Perth Radio 6PR from Denpasar. 'All the lights went out and I looked to the window and have just seen some flames and some sparks - the wing and the motor were on fire.'"

Note: The airline, of course, says that there was no fire. Obviously they have something to gain by saying that, so I tend to trust the accounts of the eyewitnesses who were there more than I do some corporate spokesperson with an agenda who wasn't there...

2015-09-24 - Small plane bursts into flame at airport in Thermal (California):

Quote: "The two are from Tujunga and say the plane belongs to a firefighter."

Note: That's ironic. A small plane just burst into flame while parked at DeQuincy Industrial Airpark in DeQuincy (Louisiana) too, mentioned in the 2015-09-22 update. These are the 113th and 114th aircraft to smoke/burn/explode in 2015...

2015-09-24 - Freight train bursts into flame on bridge over St. Louis Bay in coastal Pass Christian (Mississippi):

Quote: "Investigators say the cause of the fire appears to be a ruptured brake line that led to brake fluid catching fire."

Note: Or maybe a fire in the brakes caused a brake line to rupture. It's not like there haven't been umpteen thousand brake fires on big vehicles. Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

  1. [Do you have problems sleeping Jonny? Posting mighty early these days!]

    Things just keep ramping up!

Let's take a second to think about that train bursting into flames while going over a bridge (over water, presumably). What is the probability? Well, it's the length of track over the bridge divided by the entire trip - in other words slim (most would say "negligible") at best! JJFH makes more and more sense every day!

The smoke over Singapore was caused by man-made fires according to this:

Image of the Day: Satellite view of smoke and fires in Sumatra and Borneo, 22 September 2015
(NASA) The widespread burning of lowland forests on Borneo as well as southern Sumatra, as seen in this image taken by the MODIS instrument on the Aqua satellite, is an annual, manmade occurrence. People use fires to manage agricultural lands which in this part of the world includes large palm tree plantations. Sometimes these fires burn out of control. In addition, there are other fires that started accidentally during activities like logging and also quickly get out of control. Another method of wildfires comes from lightning strikes in dry, hot areas.

[People are ridiculously stupid and lazy causing untold environmental damage.]

Another day, another coupla garbage trucks.. . but today, a POLICE CAR too!

    Then there's BAND VAN!! woo-hoo! rock-on, man!
uh, dude, all our gear was in there.
oh, ah, sorry man, thought it was part of the gig . ..

On the car fulla pot story - the follow up was that the police and fire department took all afternoon (laughing and patting each other on the back) to put out the blaze, and then couldn't remember what they did all day. So they trundled off to the nearest burger shack because they were suddenly STARVING. Great story, Jonny.

OH - and the stampede on the outskirts of Mecca, was caused by (get this):

Making way for Saudi Prince Salman's convoy caused deadly Hajj stampede

The presence of the convoy of the son of the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in central Mina prompted the stampede that killed hundreds of pilgrims on the outskirts of the holy city of Mecca, a report says.

The Arabic-language daily al-Diyar said in a report on Thursday that the convoy of Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud played a central role in the deadly crush on the third day of the annual Hajj pilgrimage earlier in the day. [more]

[So much for religious pilgrimages! i'm sure they're all now in whatever version of heaven they believe in . . .]

Here's a couple stories to start today:

Transformer explosion in Florida destroys 2 vehicles, boat

Crystal Morales said she stepped outside when she heard the loud explosion and watched as a power wire fell on top of the vehicles and the boat. "Lights were going on and off, then after that, there was a really big explosion," said Morales. "The fire department came quick. I called 911."

6.2 quake, aftershocks strike central Chile - USGS

    [Hey, settle down now! mmmkay?]

More UFO lights spotted over Concord, New Hampshire

[drones and "Chinese lanterns" can't do this]

Finally, for now, a suggestion for your headline quote:

If I'd written all the truth I knew for the past ten years, about 600 people - including me - would be rotting in prison cells from Rio to Seattle today. Absolute truth is a very rare and dangerous commodity in the context of professional journalism.

    - Hunter S. Thompson

Keep up the great work, Jonny - it's appreciated!

  2. Good afternoon Jonny. i'm now dog sitting my neighbors dog (a 72 lb bassett hound)

Truck carrying uranium ore catches fire near Illinois nuclear plant

You probably didn't hear about this one in the national news, but with everything else going on these days, it might be something to pay attention to, especially since it's reportedly been happening a lot lately.

Last Sunday, a semi carrying uranium ore caught fire near the Honeywell Plant in Metropolis, Illinois. The fire began in the engine of the truck cab and was subsequently put out by the fire department. Officials stated that the truck was not at the facility itself and there was no immediate danger. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been notified.

No one was hurt and the fire didn't spread, but how often are trucks carrying uranium just bursting into flames in this country??

    Apparently pretty often.

According to one commenter who claims to live near the plant on one of the few local news outlets that even reported on the incident, this is the third "accident" of a similar nature regarding uranium in the past four months at this location alone.

Makes you wonder how many other trucks are catching fire without anyone reporting it - of any kind, not just uranium trucks, though obviously those are concerning.
