Event Update For 2015-08-13

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2015-08-13 - Robert Scribbler's take on a second 'Great Dying':

Note: Well-written article. And he's gettin' there! He's now where I was back in 2010. By early January of 2011 I was sure it wasn't just a possibility but a certainty - all of the pieces of the puzzle were already there, especially rising planetary volcanism and dead zones spreading throughout the oceans. I waited an extra 13 months before going public anyway, to give the gooberment(s) time to put the foul djinni back in its metaphorical bottle if they could, but things got worse, so it was clear that the situation was out of control.

The next step after recognizing the problem, still ongoing, was figuring out the details in regard to how this extinction event affects modern human society, just in case people ever wake up and wish to work toward survival: the 'electrical' fires, the piles of metal burning, vehicles going up in flames, chemical plants exploding and burning, people and animals sickening and going insane and dying, the Sun getting whiter and less yellow and hitting the planet with more UV as Earth's oxidizing capacity is withered away by methane and hydrogen sulfide, unusual vehicular accidents as people lose consciousness or have seizures or 'medical events' or die while driving, the brake-friction problem, the adsorption problem, the underground explosions and fires, the biogenic sulfide corrosion problem, the recycling fires, yada yada. Details, details, but in this case the details are important.

Since Robert did such a good job there, I figure he deserves a Spotlight Story mention, so tada! And here are a couple of bonus interesting fire-related stories:

2015-08-13 - Mysterious explosion and flash of light ignites man's yard in Portland (Oregon):

2015-08-13 - Mysterious silent expanding cloud of fire seen in the sky over coastal Port Townshend (Washington):

Quote: "Red, yellow and orange kept expanding in the night sky just like flames  as if you were looking into a blast furnace. Nothing I've ever seen in my life  and I've seen a surface-to-air missile impact. But no sound!"

Note: The reason there was no sound is that this was a gas plume that burned in a 'flash fire', which is flammable gas sizzling away in the air as it burns but without exploding. There was also an object in the air, perhaps a drone of some kind. And it also sounds like the plume was hit by something from the ground that ignited it. That was probably 'the authorities' hitting it with some type of ground-based weapon that was used to ignite the gas on purpose and burn off the cloud of gas BEFORE it moved eastward and hit more populated areas...

  1. You're the BEST, Jonny! Fantastic recognition of a fellow traveler to our path. i'm unbelievably happy that i came across this site and met you. You have HEART, man. i look for that in people. You make me smile despite the gloom and doom, because that's the 6th Kubler-Ross stage GALLOWS HUMOR - suggested by Guy McPherson. It's after the length of time one spends mourning, being angry, freaking out, giving up. Then you realize, HEY, i'm still here! So your life takes a turn bourne out of realization that THIS is what it has ALWAYS been - birth, death, life, aging, death . . . Even our universe has been said to be dying due to dissipation of energy. But it still has to manifest through all the kalidescopic realizations and perturbations to GET THERE. WE'RE IT! So don't be afraid. Just play your role to the best of your ability (living a life of excellence) and get on with it.
