2015 - FEB - Spotlight Stories

Category: Other Stories Of Interest

2015-02-01 - Whitney Houston's daughter found unresponsive in bathtub, rushed to hospital, near Atlanta (Georgia):

Quote: "Nobody knows what caused Brown's unresponsiveness, Holland said, but police consider it a medical incident at this time. She said investigators had found nothing to indicate it was drug- or alcohol-related."

2015-02-01 - Woman, 51, has respiratory problems on cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico, medevac'd off:

Quote: "The Coast Guard said Sunday that it received word Saturday night that a 51-year-old woman was having respiratory problems on the Carnival ship Magic. Authorities dispatched a helicopter Saturday night to a ship more than 180 miles offshore from Galveston."

2015-02-01 - Several passengers sicken on cruise ship, another passenger has 'medical emergency', near coastal Baltimore (Maryland):

Quote: "Also on Sunday an on-board guest experienced a medical emergency and was initially treated in the ship's medical facility but will require additional medical attention that can only be provided in a land-based hospital, Martinez said. It's unclear if that guest's medical issue was related to the others who were sickened."

2015-02-01 - Man, 26, goes swimming, found foaming from the mouth and unconscious at beach in coastal Piti on the island of Guam:

Quote: "Salas said the man was unresponsive and foaming at the mouth, and that a family member of the man administered CPR."

Quote: "Salas did not know what caused the near drowning, adding the man was not in open water but swimming near rocks he could have easily reached."

Note: Near rocks he could easily have reached unless he was busy being unconscious and/or having a seizure or 'medical event'. Hydrogen sulfide is water-soluble and it's rising from the depths, so you won't know when water is contaminated or not. And it could be contaminated in one area but just fine 20 feet away. Contact with contaminated water can sicken you, knock you unconscious or kill you. In fact, being knocked unconscious in water will often kill you simply from breathing water once unconscious. You can breathe it in gas form as it blows around in the atmosphere and sicken or die that way too, but that's not the ONLY way it's killing people...

2015-02-02 - Underground electrical explosion and fire blows off two manholes in coastal Brooklyn (New York), 1 injured:

2015-02-02 - Underground electrical explosion and fire hits coastal Manhattan (New York), carbon monoxide sickens some:

Note: Not really buying the 'weather-related' excuse, blaming snow and salt, seeing as these events were happening all this past spring, summer and fall too. I did mention back then that they'd trot that excuse out again as soon as there was snow, and here we are, so I'll have to give them a solid A+ for predictability...

2015-02-02 - Underground electrical explosion and fire hits Bacup Road in Rawtenstall (Britain):

2015-02-02 - Electrical substation explodes and burns at 1:30 AM near Escanaba (Michigan), blackouts ensue:

Quote: "Many Escanaba residents awoke Monday to find themselves without power after an explosion at a nearby utility plant substation. Around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 2, an explosion at an Escanaba Power Plant substation caused widespread power outages across the city, according to the Escanaba City Electric Department."

2015-02-02 - Transformer explodes and burns at shopping center in coastal Perth (Australia), 2 killed, 3 injured:

Quote: "The cause of the explosion is unknown but lightning from a severe electrical storm has been ruled out."

Quote: "A second person has died after a transformer exploded at a Perth shopping centre causing a fire. A witness has told how she saw four people 'burning from head to toe' as they fled the Galleria Shopping Centre at Morley just before 10am."

Note: Not looking good! Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas, so it will seep into underground areas and cause fires and explosions. It's also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, and that's causing fires and explosions involving electrified copper, like parked vehicles and porch lights and such igniting. The most devastating underground fire/explosion event so far was when the sewer system exploded and burned at midnight in Kaohsiung on the island of Taiwan, tearing apart entire streets and killing at least 24 people and injuring at least 270 people, mentioned in the 2014-07-31 update...

2015-02-03 - Underground explosion blows manholes off at Fort Washington Plaza in Detroit (Michigan):

Quote: "Detroit firefighters are on the scene at Fort Washington Plaza in downtown Detroit, 333 W. Fort, after an explosion was heard inside the building early Tuesday morning. The blast blew off manhole covers in roads nearby, said Detroit Fire Captain Gerod Funderburg. 'They heard and explosion and the building was evacuated,' he said. "They're not sure what caused it, it well could have been the piping underground...'"

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-03 - Underground electrical fire erupts before 4:30 AM, car burned, in Park Slope area of coastal Brooklyn (New York):

Quote: "A manhole fire caused the evacuation of a Brooklyn building and damaged several parked cars Tuesday. The manhole fire in the 300 block closed Sixth Street in Park Slope just before 4:30 a.m."

Quote: "An early morning manhole fire caused officials to evacuate six buildings in Brooklyn Tuesday just blocks away from the site of a manhole explosion that flung a man into the air the day before. No one was injured in Tuesday's fire, which started at about 4 a.m. on 440 Sixth Street in Park Slope, according to the FDNY."

Note: And the day prior, an underground electrical explosion and fire blew a manhole cover onto a man and almost killed him in Brooklyn, and another underground explosion and fire hit Manhattan, both events mentioned in the 2015-02-02 update...

2015-02-03 - Track fire erupts in subway, train hit by smoke, booms heard, in coastal New York City (New York):

Quote: "They have no information yet on the three booms some passengers say they heard, officials said. They're looking into it."

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-04 - Underground fire breaks out in unused mine near the River Tyne near Newcastle (Britain), may burn for years:

Quote: "The mine's production declined in the 1950s and it employed fewer than 600 people by the time it closed in 1966."

Note: So 49 years after the mine closed, the coal ignited. How did it ignite? They probably left some old mine tracks and stuff down there. In other words, rusty iron/steel. Hydrogen sulfide, which is a heavier-than-air gas, is reactive with rusty iron/steel, no other ignition source necessary. This isn't really dissimilar to all the other underground fires and explosions that have been regularly occurring around the world, especially in the last year, though some are caused by hydrogen sulfide's reactivity with copper, especially electrified copper, which is the same problem causing many parked vehicles to spontaneously ignite...

2015-02-04 - Underground electrical fire erupts in Putnam (Connecticut):

Quote: "An underground transformer fire caused a small portion of the parking lot in front of Stop and Shop in Putnam to be shut down by fire personnel, according to officials from the East Putnam Fire Department."

2015-02-05 - School bus bursts into flame on the Sussex Turnpike in Randolph (New Jersey):

Quote: "A portion of Sussex Turnpike was closed after a bus carrying the Delbarton Junior Varsity hockey team caught fire in Thursday afternoon, Randolph police said."

Note: These are the 19th, 20th and 21st school buses to burn in 2015 and the 70th, 71st and 72nd buses to burn in 2015...

2015-02-05 - Transit bus bursts into flame and blows tire, on I-10 in Phoenix (Arizona):

2015-02-05 - Passenger bus bursts into flame on the A182 Washington Highway near Washington (Britain):

2015-02-05 - Passenger bus bursts into flame on the M53 near Bebington (Britain):

Note: These are the 73rd, 74th, 75th, 76th and 77th buses to burn in 2015. Bus manufacturers should be doing pretty well, what with all the buses that have to be replaced after they're destroyed by fires and crashes. You can't get much more economically Keynesian than that!

Note: This is the 14th aircraft to smoke or burn in 2015...

2015-02-06 - 600 underground fires and/or explosions hit coastal New York City (New York), since Sunday:

Note: Blamed on snow and salt. Apparently they didn't have snow and salt last year or the year before, or ever before, because this didn't happen like this previously. Obviously they think people are idiots, and if people believe them then they're right about that!

2015-02-06 - Underground electrical fire breaks out at 5:30 AM Astoria area in coastal Queens (New York):

2015-02-06 - Two underground electrical fires break out in Flushing area of coastal Queens (New York):

2015-02-07 - Wildfire burns near the Yellowstone River, 3 structures destroyed, near Big Timber (Montana):

Quote: "Fire crews are tackling a wildfire burning north of Big Timber. High winds are fanning those flame burning across the Yellowstone River from the town of Big Timber."

Quote: "The fire scorched about 10 acres of mostly cottonwood trees and some river bottom foliage."

Quote: "One primary structure and two outbuildings have burned. No one was in the buildings. However, the outbuildings contained farm equipment."

2015-02-07 - Large brush fire breaks out in Stafford County (Virginia):

2015-02-07 - Brush fire burns 9 acres in canyon in Rapid City (South Dakota):

2015-02-07 - Brush fire starts in irrigation ditch, burns 500 acres and 3 structures, in Weld County (Colorado):

Quote: "About 2:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters say a fire started in an irrigation ditch in the area of County Roads 21 and 100. The flames moved quickly fueled by high winds and dry grass."

Quote: "The fire burned for around 2.5 hours, destroying a barn and a couple of outbuildings. Firefighters were able to save every house."

Note: Soooo...when does fire season start?!

Category: Animal Die-Offs

2015-02-08 - Around 70 monkeys found dead on the banks of the Utangan River in Agra (India):

Quote: "A forest official said, 'For so many monkeys to go down in such a short span of time, it must have been poison. They showed symptoms of that - excess salivation, seizures, respiratory distress.'"

Note: Say, those are all symptoms of hydrogen sulfide poisoning, which is a heavier-than-air gas and will thus tend to accumulate in low-lying areas, like near rivers, which is where these monkeys died, and it's also water-soluble. Plenty of people have been having seizures and respiratory distress and sickening and/or dying too, especially near bodies of water or other low-lying areas. The largest number of PEOPLE to die after contact with water, so far, that I know of, is 10 - in May 2014, ten people had contact with water and died and eight more people were knocked unconscious, in Dera Ismail Khan (Pakistan), mentioned in the 2014-05-02 update. A family of four was found dead in Henry Hagg Lake (Oregon) in August, mentioned in the 2014-08-25 update. More than 200 people sickened after swimming at Horseshoe Lake near Mount Saint Helens (Washington), mentioned in the 2014-07-16 update. More than a dozen people sickened after swimming in Blue Lake in Blue Lake Park (Oregon), also mentioned in the 2014-07-16 update. And so on...

2015-02-09 - Dump truck loses brakes, plows into pedestrians and vehicles in Bath (Britain), 4 killed, 7 injured:

Quote: "The BBC's Jon Kay said the truck reportedly sounded its horn repeatedly 'like a warning' as it came down the hill. Police said early witness accounts 'suggest the driver was trying to avert an accident'. Ch Supt Caroline Peters, of Avon and Somerset Police, described the scene as 'one of carnage'."

Quote: "Witnesses described how the lorry appeared to suffer a brake failure and then gather speed, hitting parked cars and walls as the driver hurtled down the hill struggling to bring the vehicle under control."

2015-02-09 - Unknown odor in cockpit sends passenger plane to emergency landing in Tulsa (Oklahoma), plane evacuated:

Quote: "An American Airlines flight from Dallas made an emergency landing 45 minutes after takeoff tonight when the pilots smelled an 'unusual odor' in the cockpit, the airline said."

2015-02-09 - Medical emergency sends passenger plane to emergency landing in Cologne (Germany):

2015-02-09 - Passenger plane makes emergency landing without nose gear at Bush Intercontinental Airport (Texas):

Note: Not looking too good for people who drive ground vehicles, or water vehicles, or aircraft. Walking really isn't too safe either, seeing as a lot of the people dropping dead have been walking...

2015-02-10 - Underground electrical fire breaks out at the Springfield Underground in Springfield (Missouri):

Quote: "Springfield Underground is south of Kearney Street, east of U.S. 65. Businesses store inventory and computer systems in the secure and steady-temperature spaces."

2015-02-10 - Underground electrical fire hits Maspeth area of coastal Queens (New York):

2015-02-10 - Underground electrical fire breaks out in Albany (New York):

2015-02-10 - Transformer explodes and burns at construction site in coastal Oxnard (California), 1500 homes go dark:

Category: 'Zombie' Files

2015-02-11 - Man, 32, chases woman, screams incoherently, strips naked, in Redding (California):

Quote: "He then reportedly jumped into a puddle and took off all his clothes. Police said he threw rocks at passing cars, and bent the door frame of a car parked nearby.  When officers arrived, they say he charged them. They used a stun gun, but he allegedly kept fighting, even bending the window frame of the police cruiser."

Note: Naked, crazy, superhuman strength. Also about 2 miles east (downwind) of the Sacramento River. Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-11 - Naked man, 38, walks pit bull, threatens person, flees cops, gets tased, in coastal Pismo Beach (California):

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area. The majority of people who've stripped naked and gone insane have been in coastal areas, which is logical since most of the brain-destroying hydrogen sulfide is blowing in off the oceans. That doesn't mean you're safe away from coasts though...

2015-02-12 - Chemical plant hit by nitric acid explosion in Igualada, Barcelona (Spain), toxic gas cloud released:

Note: They say this was caused by an accidental mixing of nitric acid with ferric chloride during unloading. Not sure I'm buying that. Neither chemical is flammable. Ferric chloride is somewhat reactive with water, but otherwise, couldn't find anything about it being a fire/explosion danger of any kind. Nitric acid, however, is explosively flammable if it comes into contact with gaseous hydrogen sulfide. A nitric acid explosion hit a cargo ship in coastal Ulsan (South Korea) in January, injuring 4 people, mentioned in the 2015-01-11 update. There have been other mysterious explosions and fires involving nitric acid too. So, maybe what happened here is, some container containing nitric acid wasn't fully sealed, and some air containing hydrogen sulfide got to it, and that caused a fire and explosion, which then burned up everything around it too, including whatever ferric chloride was there, and that caused that huge toxic cloud of who-the-f#ck-knows. I'm very suspicious now whenever nitric acid is involved and there's a big explosion or fire because in normal times that virtually never happens. Check out the pics too. Looks pretty apocalyptic there...

2015-02-13 - Transformer bursts into flame near Teeswater (Canada), power outages hit multiple towns:

2015-02-13 - Electrical explosion rocks Totnes (Britain), blackouts ensue:

Quote: "The explosion happened in the mains in an electrical fuse box on the exterior wall of a waterside property on the bridge at about 10.30am."

Note: Here are some more underground fires, and more electrical infrastructure exploding and/or burning...

2015-02-14 - Driver has 'medical emergency', school bus crashes, in Aitkin County (Minnesota):

Quote: "Authorities in Aitkin County say the bus careened and weaved at speeds of 35 to 40 mph - at one point narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with another car. At least one student on board called 911 to alert authorities to the driver's medical emergency. To stop the bus, Minnesota state troopers blew out its tires."

Note: A transit bus driver just had a seizure and crashed the bus into a ravine in Fairfield (Alabama), injuring 19 people, mentioned in the 2015-02-09 update. People are randomly being struck unconscious or having seizures or 'medical events' or are being flat-out killed. Because it's random, some of the people so affected will be driving when it happens, and some of those drivers will be bus drivers...

2015-02-14 - Man loses consciousness while driving, minivan hits car head-on, in Council Bluffs (Iowa), 5 injured:

Quote: "A head-on collision Friday that left a woman in critical condition likely was caused when a driver passed out behind the wheel, police said."

2015-02-14 - Driver has 'fit' and collapses at wheel, car hits car head-on, in Bolton (Britain), several injured:

Quote: "Witnesses said that the two cars crashed head-on after the driver of the Ford Mondeo collapsed at the wheel. One said: 'It was a horrendous crash. I heard that one of the drivers had some kind of fit at the wheel and collapsed. The taxi spun round and ended up facing the other way. It was awful.'"

2015-02-14 - Prisoner van veers across centerline at 12:43 AM, off road, hits trees, in King George County (Virginia), 1 killed:

Quote: "Prisoners told police that most of them were sleeping when the crash took place. At least one of them told police that Toombs was coughing extremely hard just prior to losing control of the vehicle."

Quote: "Dennis Toombs, 33, the driver, was in and out of consciousness at the scene, but was talking to deputies, King George Sheriff's spokeswoman Kecia Wharton said. But he died later in the morning after being taken to Mary Washington Hospital by ambulance."

2015-02-16 - Oil train derails, cars crash into the Kanawha River, explosions and fire ensue, near Charleston (West Virginia):

Quote: "Kanawha County 911 dispatchers tell WSAZ the train is carrying crude oil and several of the cars are in the river. 911 dispatchers say there was an explosion that caught a few homes on fire. WSAZ has also learned several train cars are also on fire. Emergency crews say water systems from Montgomery, downstream have been notified to close their intakes. Crews also urge anyone who lives in a community with an independent water system, to conserve water."

Note: Check out the explosion on that liveleak video. The guy talking and being filmed gets a seriously worried look on his face as a MASSIVE explosion occurs in the background, with a monumental fireball expanding into the sky. I don't blame him for looking worried! This train was carrying 3 million gallons of oil so I imagine it'll be burning for quite a while...

2015-02-17 - Underground electrical fire breaks out in Greenfield (Massachusetts), near the Connecticut River:

2015-02-17 - Underground electrical fire hits Reading (Pennsylvania), some buildings evacuated:

2015-02-17 - Underground electrical fire erupts near Queensboro Plaza in Long Island City in coastal Queens (New York):

Quote: "FDNY Engine 258 On Scene of a Transformer Fire in Queensboro Plaza in Long Island City, Queens. 2/17/15"

Note: These underground fires and explosions are getting worse. The problem wasn't nearly this bad last year, or the year before, or ever. As the atmospheric contamination problem intensifies, it was expected that these incidents would become more problematic, and they are. It's clearly worse on the East Coast, which is probably related to all of the following: 1) the gigantic methane clathrate deposit melting and releasing methane off the East Coast; 2) the deployment of two billion-dollar blimps on the East Coast whose primary mission is to the identify 'air-breathing threats'; 3) the NTSB wanting to check all mass-transit underground facilities around the country for fire/explosion danger; 4) responders recently training in coastal NYC to deal with the aftermath of a large 10-kiloton explosion...

2015-02-18 - ExxonMobil refinery damaged by huge explosion and fire, ash rains down, in coastal Torrance (California), 4 injured:

Quote: "Homes shook in the city when the blast occurred about 8:50 a.m. Caltech’s earthquake researchers in Pasadena said the explosion was equivalent to a magnitude 1.7 temblor. Flames were visible from the refinery on 190th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard, and residents reported ash-like debris and cloth that appeared to be insulation landing like snow on their cars and front lawns."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Likewise, chemical plants of all types will burn and/or explode, including biofuels plants, fertilizer plants, specialty chemical plants, petroleum-related facilities and more."

2015-02-19 - Naked man runs around on I-5, bites cop on leg, in coastal San Diego (California):

Quote: "A naked man was arrested while running and yelling at motorists in passing vehicles on Interstate 5 in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday. But his most serious crime was almost certainly biting a CHP officer on the leg before being arrested, the CHP said."

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-19 - Naked man tries to break into US Embassy in Moscow (Russia), says spies out to get him:

Note: A huge cloud of hydrogen sulfide hit Moscow late last year, forcing residents to shelter-in-place, mentioned in the 2014-11-10 update. Sometimes psychological problems resulting from neurological damage from hydrogen sulfide poisoning can manifest months after exposure, so he could've been poisoned back in November when that huge cloud of poison gas blew through there, but just started going insane now...

2015-02-20 - High-rise Main Place Tower damaged by fire in Buffalo (New York):

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-20 - High-rise damaged by fire, Art Garfunkel's apartment burns, in coastal Manhattan (New York):

Note: Eventually every building that contains iron/steel or electrified copper is going to burn, which is pretty much all buildings, including high-rises, so fires like these are worth watching. It should be pretty incredible once entire waterfronts full of high-rises start going up in flames. We're not at that point yet, but that could start anytime now. The recent training for massive explosions in coastal New York City and the positioning of two billion-dollar blimps on the East Coast - primary mission to identify air-breathing threats - are not exactly reassuring occurrences...

2015-02-21 - Vehicles, forklifts and building destroyed by huge fire and explosion(s) at lumber business in Morehead (Kentucky):

Quote: "Firefighters say the building was used for maintenance and held several fork-lifts, vehicles, tools and other equipment, which is likely what caused the explosions. There was no one inside that building when it caught fire, but there were people at the site working."

Note: Just like all the public works buildings full of vehicles that have been going up in flames. The Earth doesn't distinguish. A pile of vehicles is a pile of vehicles. This place is not just a lumber business but also a sawmill, and like all mills, it's right next to a body of flowing water to provide free energy for millwork. In this case, it's the North Fork Triplett Creek...

2015-02-21 - Two garbage trucks destroyed by fire while parked at facility in Geneva (New York):

Note: All vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time, whether running or not. Lots of people are losing their homes, business and lives because of this problem. These days it's probably wise not to park a vehicle near anything you don't want to see on fire...

2015-02-22 - Two underground electrical explosions and fires hit Center City area of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania):

2015-02-22 - Multiple underground electrical fires break out in the East Village in coastal Manhattan (New York):

2015-02-22 - Underground electrical fire blows manhole off in coastal Fells Point (Maryland):

2015-02-22 - Multiple underground electrical fires breaks out in coastal Washington DC:

Note: Also see the streetcar hit by a mysterious 'flash fire' in Washington DC on this day. It's interesting that these US-based underground explosions and fires are mostly clustered on the East Coast, near that huge melting methane clathrate deposit off the East Coast. There've been such fires in other cities too, a few in St. Louis for example, and some on the west coast, a few elsewhere. Mostly though, they're occurring on the East Coast. So that whole 'snow and salt' explanation is obviously hogwash, for at least two good reasons: 1) these fires and explosions were happening on the East Coast at an elevated number (compared to other locales) in the spring, summer and fall too, when there was no snow or salt; and 2) the East Coast isn't remotely the only place even just in the US with lots of snow and salt. They're working hard to convince the mindless masses that this is all perfectly normal but anyone with even a lukewarm IQ can see that this problem is way beyond normal, and it's getting worse...

2015-02-22 - Underground fire hits gold mine in South Africa, hundreds of miners trapped but rescued:

Note: Now watch me pseudo-cheat Time a little, a feature made possible by me posting with a one or two day delay: I bet we see more of those huge methane explosion craters in Siberia, real soon-like. Heheh...

Category: Other Stories Of Interest

2015-02-23 - Four new big methane-explosion craters found in Siberia (Russia), flash of light spotted:

Quote: "And, following the discovery of a funnel at Antipayuta, on the Yamal Peninsula, nearby residents told scientists about seeing a flash of light, possibly as a result of gas exploding."

Quote: "The craters are thought to be caused by eruptions of methane gas from the permafrost as rising temperatures causes the frozen soil to melt."

Quote: "One potential new site is particularly ominous: A 5sq/km lake which is not on older satellite images of the area. Researchers say it may have formed from an eruption of a cluster of blowholes, the largest of which appears to measure some 100m by 50m. Methane plumes can be seen bubbling up through its waters."

Note: Heat is now rising from BELOW, thus the melting roads at Yellowstone Park, the numerous volcanic islands that have formed from undersea volcanic eruptions in the last two years, the ground exploding and burning in Vietnam, the methane clathrates melting all around the world, the record-setting warm ocean temps in 2014, and so on. There is no technology that will make heat stop rising from below, so the problem is out of our hands. The surface of the Earth will not be survivable by human beings (or much of anything else that breathes oxygen). So, it's Plan B or death. Those are the choices. Waiting around, not facing the problem, pretending there isn't a problem - that's the death option. So far, that does seem to be the plan.

Nor is the problem 'just' methane, although just the methane alone would be enough to eradicate the human race from the surface of the Earth. That heat is also beneficial to the ancient anaerobic bacteria and archaea that emit hydrogen sulfide, and those microbes eat methane for food. So the environment is becoming more to their liking and they're doing what bacteria do when life is good: they're reproducing. It is no coincidence that two major cities have now been hit by giant clouds of hydrogen sulfide in recent times (Kuwait City and Moscow), right as the methane around the world is blowing its top. And at the same time, deep ocean life is bubbling up dead all over the place, people have begin collapsing dead, sometimes foaming at the mouth, sometimes bleeding out from mouth/nose/ears, and fires and explosions are destroying vehicles, homes and businesses.

The Earth itself is becoming a very large and very lethal gas chamber. Anyone who hangs around in a gas chamber that's filling up with deadly poison gas ends up dead. So, do we act in the interests of our own survival or do we lollygag and continue dying until we're extinct? Time will tell, but tick-tock, tick-tock, we are running out of time...

2015-02-24 - Naked man walks along S. César E. Chávez Drive in 30-degree temps in Milwaukee (Wisconsin), near Lake Michigan:

Quote: "LeStencia Vallejo, a witness told HNNUSA that, she saw him walking towards W. Greenfield Ave. and he started walking back towards W. Lapham. She went to her house and got some pants, t-shirt and a pair of shoes. 'I walked and met him towards W. Greenfield Ave. and tried to give him the clothes and he grabbed them. I offered him shoes and he said, he was wearing shoes. He had nothing on! He then tossed the clothes into the snow.'"

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area. She was kind, and brave too - what if this guy had been another face-eater with superhuman strength? Not sure I'd risk getting too close to a naked guy these days. The feds had some anti-zombie training in California, so it might be safest to let the authorities deal with the crazy naked people. That might be the reason the feds acquired a large quantity of hollowpoint ammo a year or two ago too.

2015-02-24 - Man, 20, strips naked and gets disorderly during lecture at college in Potsdam (New York), near Norwood Lake:

Quote: "Clarkson security officers responded that afternoon to a complaint of a man reported to be naked and disorderly during a lecture. There was a physical altercation, and both officers sustained injuries in the struggle, according to police."

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-25 - Naked man, 38, attacks wife, screams about Jesus and Jehovah, tries to drown infant, in coastal West Palm Beach (Florida):

Quote: "West Palm Beach police got a call just after 10 p.m. Tuesday. Officers arrived and found Bryan Patrice, 38, naked in his bathroom holding the baby's head under water, according to the report. Patrice was shouting 'I rebuke you in the name of Jehovah!' the report states."

Note: About 70 miles north of the original face-eater incident which occurred on the MacArthur Causeway in coastal Miami Beach (Florida). No drugs were found in his system either except for trace marijuana, and even that could have been from months prior. You're most likely to be zombified yourself in the wee hours, when outdoors, and when in, near or downwind of low-lying areas, though nobody anywhere is safe...

2015-02-25 - Naked man abandons stolen truck, found running down highway at 3 AM, near Medina (North Dakota):

Quote: "Stutsman County Sheriff Sgt. Jason Falk said Stutsman County Communications dispatched a sheriff’s deputy to the 4400 block of N.D. Highway 30 around 3 a.m. Tuesday after receiving calls of a man running naked on the state highway."

2015-02-26 - Driver has 'medical emergency', minivan slams into home near Midlothian (Virginia), 1 killed, 2 injured:

Quote: "The minivan’s driver had a 'major medical emergency' shortly before 6 p.m. that caused the vehicle to run off Robious Road onto Greenfield Drive and strike the home, according to fire Lt. Jason Elmore."

Note: The fatality was some poor soul inside the house...

2015-02-26 - Man, 52, has 'medical episode', tractor trailer crashes into ditch, near Billingham (Britain), 1 killed:

Quote: "It is believed that the male driver suffered a medical episode at the wheel. He was taken to hospital and sadly passed away overnight."

Note: You just can't count on staying conscious - or alive - when driving anymore. Or when not driving, for that matter. As more people lose consciousness, have seizures or 'medical events', or slump over dead while driving, driving is going to become more...uhhh...interesting. A lot of the time, these events are going to slide under the radar - just one person driving along, who slumps over dead while driving and then hits a tree or building or plunges into a stream or canal. Nobody will ever know that they died right BEFORE the crash...

2015-02-27 - Recycling warehouse destroyed by huge fire on Lake Avenue in Largo (Florida), near the coast, nobody there:

Note: Also see the home that was damaged by fire and explosions in Largo on this day...

2015-02-27 - Landfill erupts in flame in coastal Mumbai (India), noxious smoke flows over the city:

Quote: "With no official information on the incident since Thursday, residents have taken to Twitter to report thick smog, low visibility and a rancid smell in the air."

Note: That doesn't look remotely healthy. From the full hypothesis: "Trash-related facilities such as recycling centers and landfills will burn hard too, as hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into flammable absorbent materials like wood, paper, cardboard, straw, hay, dried brush, generic trash, clothing, cotton, wool."

Not quite a year ago, one of the few remaining major international insurers bowed out of the recycling business due to the rise in such fires and their often very high costs, mentioned in the 2014-04-04 update. The insurers may not understand WHY there's been a rise in such fires, but they don't have to understand - the fact that there have been so many such fires was all by itself enough to drive them out. For them, the reason is pretty much irrelevant. Only the cost matters...

2015-02-28 - Naked man jumps over seawall at waterfront park in Portland (Oregon):

Quote: "A 911 caller reported that a man had jumped over the seawall railing on Saturday morning next to Portland's Saturday Market in Waterfront Park. If that weren't odd enough, the man was naked."

Note: A woman, 26, just had a 'medical event' and collapsed dead near the Willamette River in Portland (Oregon). A man, 48, was found dead in the Willamette River in Portland on that day too, both events mentioned in the 2015-02-26 update. Also see the woman who had a 'medical issue' and fell into the Santa Cruz River in Tucson (Arizona) on this day. Here's a Google Maps link of the area. You can see the Burnside Bridge right there. That's where the 48-year-old man was just found dead. The woman collapsed dead near the Steel Bridge, just a bit north...

2015-02-28 - Naked man rants and raves on balcony, punches man and cop, at Lakeside Rise in Blackley (Britain):

Note: Right across the street from a big pond or small lake, and about 500 feet north of the River Irk. Here's a Google Maps link of the area...

2015-02-28 - Man, 56, armed with axe and knife, climbs on moving bulldozer at landfill, says hunters chasing him, in Salem (Oregon):

Quote: "A Marion County, Oregon, sheriff's spokesman says deputies have arrested a 56-year-old transient accused of crawling onto a moving bulldozer while swinging an ax. Sgt. Chris Baldridge says the bulldozer operator at a Salem landfill called 911 Thursday afternoon, then locked himself in the cab of the machine and waited for deputies."

Note: So three more people going nuts, two of them naked. Two were near rivers (both the naked guys) and one was at a landfill. The situation is not looking too good for people who don't want their brains chemically damaged...
