Event Update For 2015-03-21

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2015-03-21 - Pile of tires goes up in flames near the Great Smokies Craft Fair in Sevierville (Tennessee):

Note: It took me a while to figure out why tires and tire businesses keep burning. The phrase 'steel-belted radial' should have been a clue. Tires have steel wires inside them, so if any of that steel is exposed to the air and rusts then again you have an ignition source (rusty steel) right next to a flammable adsorbent material (tire rubber), so tires are very much like pallets, especially if there are any WORN tires around...

Note: That's gotta suck, having your car(s) spontaneously ignite and destroy your home. And it keeps happening over and over and over too. Gotta wonder how many people will even still have homes by the time people wake up and face the problem. We'll find out!

Quote: "Though the police suspects that this might be a case of suicide, the murder angle is also not being completely ruled out."

Note: If your clothes adsorb some methane and/or hydrogen sulfide, and they ignite because of static electricity (or a cig or whatever), and you burn to death - which may very well be what happened here - then is that murder or is that suicide? It's neither! So by restricting themselves to just those two possibilities they eliminate any chance of actually discovering the truth of things. There's a word for that: incompetent...

2015-03-21 - Man found dead in pond in Denver (Colorado):

2015-03-21 - Woman, news reporter, 49, collapses and dies in coastal Queens (New York):

Quote: "Veteran New York reporter Lisa Colagrossi died Friday after suffering a catastrophic brain aneurysm while out on assignment..."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide can cause blood vessels to rupture, which can cause skin bruising and also aneurysms, though it doesn't always. A friend of mine, early 40s, crashed his moped, had no memory of it, and dropped dead in the shower a few days later, at home near the Mississippi River. That was blamed on a brain aneurysm too. People collapsing dead from brain aneurysms is sure to become increasingly commonplace as the atmospheric contamination problem continues to intensify. Hillary Clinton had a brain aneurysm too, though she survived. Politicians and 'important people' are not immune to the effects of hydrogen sulfide poisoning. Remember what happened to the former Secretary of Commerce?

2015-03-21 - Rising sea levels forcing residents of Bikini Island to ask for harbor in the United States:

Note: With all the people dropping dead and burning to death in the US, I'm not so sure the US is the safest place for them, but hey, we irradiated their islands with nuclear testing, so if they wanna come here and collapse dead or burn to death with us in the US, why the hell not...

2015-03-21 - Iranian researchers develop nanodevice to detect hydrogen sulfide, at Shiraz University (Iran):

Quote: "The sensor is made of carbon nanotubes covered with copper nanoparticles on a flexible bed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The sensor can detect hydrogen sulfide at concentration about 5ppm. It has a respond time of 10 seconds at this concentration while the return time has been obtained to be 15 seconds. In fact, highly quick carrier transfer properties of carbon nanotubes and catalytic properties of copper in contact with hydrogen sulfide are among the main reasons for the desirable performance of the sensor."

Note: Sounds useful...

  1. Geez, those sensors should sell like hotcakes - until people start going "Hey my sensor is indicating . .. .. .. .. .[thump]."

  2. 12 pilot whales dead in Bunbury harbour, Australia

New viruses discovered in deep ocean methane seeps
    ["Hey! Welcome little " thunk]

"Strange creatures live in the deep sea, but few are odder than the viruses that inhabit deep ocean methane seeps and prey on single-celled microorganisms called archaea."

  3. Horse-killing-sized hail, uh oh. Not liking the looks of things in the hail department!
