Event Update For 2014-04-13

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Absent any actual evidence of people being involved, I'm making no assumptions. Assumptions are for the *cough cough* professionals!

Note: Just like the original face-eater, who wasn't on any drugs either. Hydrogen sulfide is neurotoxic and will chemically damage peoples' brains, which can have all kinds of effects, including aberrant and sometimes insanely violent behavior. It also makes people feel warm, heats them up, which must be why they strip off their clothes as they go insane. This can affect anyone at any time now. Nobody's brain is immune. You're most likely to zombify when near, in, or downwind of low-lying areas like ponds, lakes, seas, oceans, streams, creeks, rivers, quays, bays, swamps, marshes, valleys, ravines, gorges, canyons, ditches, basements, etc.

  1. Jonny, you come up with the most interesting stories on this blog.

Another mysterious bus fire tragedy, the brownstone explosion (oh, but it WASN'T GAS - no, that's ruled out first, see, can't happen when the place runs on electricity.
WTF?), and the home exploding and burning on Signal Mountain - hell, if THAT doesn't send a signal, what will?

Now the woman using the lav when her home exploded in Bermuda - hey, she should be a suspect! You know what gases come from that activity, maybe she really let one go!

The usual barn fires and vehicles bursting into flame and crashing in PA, but the five in MA - dude, they're offering a reward for information AND YOU HAVE IT! Send it in and start collecting $ for your efforts!

Funniest thing I read today was the bar in Mexico where the Chinese guy keeled over and they just tossed him into the street. Priceless.

The (becoming) usual naked guy stories are fascinating, but the best are the other stories of interest today. Holy slapacowa HUGE rats - nyaaaah! And the mysterious ring - ooooooooh, spooky!

    Thanks for the complete update.

  2. The explosions are to me the most dangerous and the one event you would think would open peoples eyes:)
