Event Update For 2014-02-25

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-02-25 - Box truck bursts into flame on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge (New York):
Quote: "The two-axle box truck caught fire closer to the Staten Island end of the bridge, Ms. Baldeo said."
Note: The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge traverses The Narrows (body of water) and connects Staten Island with Brooklyn...
2014-02-25 - Truck bursts into flame at 6:17 AM on the George Washington Bridge near Fort Lee (New Jersey):
Note: This bridge goes over the Hudson River and connects Fort Lee (New Jersey) with coastal Manhattan (New York). So here are two trucks going up on flames on bridges over bodies of water in the NYC area on the same day...
2014-02-25 - In separate events, within 5 minutes, pickup truck and car burst into flame in the wee hours while parked in coastal Manhattan (New York):
Quote: "Police and Fire Investigators began an investigation into the suspicious fires and have determined that there was a high probability that they were incendiary in nature."
Note: Much like the 3 boats that burned up in two separate incidents within 3 minutes in Washington DC, as mentioned in the 2014-02-11 update. And fires caused by methane and/or hydrogen sulfide will of course be incendiary in nature; they're both flammable gases. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide and/or methane floating in the air above closer to the ground. Also note the two trucks that burst into flame on bridges in the NYC area on this same day. Could this have been arson? Anything is possible, but the fact that they were parked and that the fires may have been 'incendiary in nature' doesn't indicate arson, and I don't see them mentioning having anything substantive in terms of evidence that would indicate arson...
2014-02-25 - In separate events, within 15 minutes, two cars burst into flame in the wee hours while parked in Wrexham (Britain):
Note: Don't see them mentioning any evidence of arson here either, just an assumption. And this is what we should expect to see as the number, size and concentration of hydrogen sulfide and methane plumes in the atmosphere continue to increase. Also note the passenger bus that burst into flame between Wrexham and Penley on this same day...
2014-02-25 - In separate events, within minutes, pickup truck and car burst into flame in the wee hours while parked in Hazleton (Pennsylvania):
2014-02-25 - Cars regularly bursting into flame in the wee hours while parked in Roswell (New Mexico):
Quote: "Some people in Roswell are terrified. 'Everybody's scared, our kids, we have three kids in the house, they're still terrified,' said Jessaca Wright. The Roswell Fire Department said an arsonist is randomly torching cars parked in driveways."
Quote: "At least nine cars have been set on fire in Roswell in the last four months. Roswell fire officials said someone set three separate cars on fire in three different neighborhoods last week. Investigators said each of the cars were torched in the middle of the night."
Note: Arson assumed as usual. Any witnesses, motive, surveillance footage, or other evidence? Nope, just an assumption. Have fire investigators ruled out hydrogen sulfide's reactivity with rusty iron/steel and electrified copper as a potential cause? No, so they don't know if that's what's causing these fires or not, and it probably is. Also, fires ignited by hydrogen sulfide and methane blowing around the atmosphere will appear very random - just like these fires - because the atmosphere itself is random. Nobody is being targeted; it's just whoever happens to have a vehicle in the path. 'Middle of the night' means the wee hours, which is when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane in the air above closer to the ground...
Things are certainly getting very obvious now...

Note: Just like all the peat/bog/swamp/marsh fires...

2014-02-25 - Open-cut coal mine burning, town may have to be evacuated, 25,000 gas masks handed out, in Victoria (Australia):

Quote: "Plans are being made to evacuate the Victorian town of Morwell as a fire at a nearby open-cut mine continues to spew thick smoke over the Latrobe valley area. The state’s chief health officer, Rosemary Lester, said an evacuation plan was being prepared for Morwell and authorities had handed out 25,000 face masks. The Environment Protection Authority issued a high-level smoke alert for the valley on Wednesday. Its air quality index for Morwell south was 828 on Wednesday afternoon. Anything over 100 is rated poor, with 150+ very poor."

2014-02-25 - Semi tractor bursts into flame at 6:20 AM while parked in Connellsville (Pennsylvania):

Quote: "Topper said a Mack truck parked along that street was fully engulfed when firefighters from New Haven Hose arrived on the scene. It took firefighters five to 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze. Connellsville Township VFD was on standby. The fire marshal told Topper that the truck fire was undetermined in nature."

Note: They don't know why the truck ignited. The story also mentions multiple vacant structures igniting in the wee hours in the last week, which they are calling arson. That doesn't mean that they WERE arson, just that they can't figure out how these fires are igniting, so they're assuming arson. Did they check the vacant homes to see if there was any rusty iron/steel in or on the vacant structures, like nails, brackets, hinges, pipes, appliances, etc? No. Then they haven't ruled out hydrogen sulfide as the cause of those fires, which means they don't actually know what caused those vacant structures to burn either...

Quote: "Gary Lofgren, age unavailable, had pulled his car off the road near the Midas shop on Wright Avenue in Alma when his car caught fire, said Alma’s Director of Fire Control Harold House. He attempted to exit from a window and became stuck, House said."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. That's likely the cause of most of the non-running vehicles spontaneously igniting, transformer fires, pole fires, underground electrical fires and explosions, Boeing Dreamliner fires, etc. I've warned about this particular danger before: if one of these 'electrical fires' ignites your vehicle then power windows and locks may stop working and you can die very quickly if you can't escape. This man was lucky. Others haven't been so lucky. You might want to keep something handy in your vehicle to shatter windows quickly if necessary...

  1. Hey Jonny:

Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire, those people in Roswell and elsewhere who are terrified at the thought of an arson (someONE) doing this kind of damage, just wait til it gets out that it's the Earth that's doing it (as a result of our polluting it beyond all reason)! Like sinkholes, these "random acts of God" (actually just the planet reacting to current conditions) cause an unease that's not easy to overcome - anything can happen at any time now. A tree branch can fall and kill someone driving or walking by, completely unaware; hydrogen sulfide can just waft by and turn one into a zombie or take-'em out, just like that. People gotta be "ready to go" at any second now - what kind of crazy stress is that? We're not only killing ourselves, but driving ourselves crazy too!

    1. You said it, man. Cheesy catastrophe movies got nothin' on atmospheric doom. The more you look at atmospheric doom, the worse it seems. We're gonna be living on a hostile planet. VERY hostile. More hostile than Mars. Mars is colder and the Sun is dimmer, true, but Mars doesn't have deadly and explosively flammable hydrogen sulfide and flammable methane blowing around all over either. The same goes for the Moon - easier to survive there than it's gonna be here.

  2. It's amazing that climate change is quietly, incrementally changing the composition of the air and water making even more of these (and other) toxic gases. I read today:

    1. Yeah, this is frogs-in-a-pot doom, which ratchets up over time. Well, as one frog in the pot to my fellow frogs: the water's gettin' pretty hot and some of us frogs are bubbling up dead now!
