Event Update For 2014-02-18

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2014-02-18 - Underground electrical fires erupt in multiple areas in coastal New York City (New York):
Quote: "FDNY tells us this is happening all over the city today. And it resulted in some dramatic flames and black smoke at a manhole on 66th street between Amsterdam and West End Avenue."
2014-02-18 - Underground electrical fire breaks out in Chicago (Illinois), near Lake Michigan:
2014-02-18 - Underground electrical fire erupts outside Honda dealership in Ardmore (Pennsylvania):
Quote: "Lancaster Avenue was closed between Church and Argyle roads in Ardmore for over two hours Tuesday due to an underground transformer fire outside Martin Main Line Honda."
Quote: "A similar incident occurred Saturday when Route 30 was closed for nearly four hours."
2014-02-18 - Transformer bursts into flame at substation in Rockford (Illinois), near the Rock River:
2014-02-18 - Transformer starts sparking, ignites grass fire, in Tulsa (Oklahoma):

2014-02-18 - Explosion rocks Sviato-Pokrovska Mine in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, 4 killed, 13 injured:

Quote: "Eleven of the 13 injured miners were showing signs of poisoning by mine gas..."

2014-02-18 - Landfill fire burning since October worrying people near Katepwa Lake (Canada):

Quote: "Earlier this month, the Ministry of Environment conducted air quality monitoring for one week. 'The results were well within Canadian ambient air quality standards. In fact, on a 24 hour basis, 100 percent of the tests taken were in compliance,' said Ash Olesen with the ministry. However, Bobbee is not entirely convinced: 'It’s a particulate testing and it’s based over 24 hours so if you have two hours that’s not that great and it’s averaged over 24 it’s going to look like it’s pretty good.'"

Note: Not only that, but particulate testing won't pick up GASES, like hydrogen sulfide and methane, so you could stand there choking to death from hydrogen sulfide and particulate testing would tell you everything is just hunky-dory...

2014-02-18 - Inferno destrosy 18 warehouses in coastal Sharjah (UAE), at least 1 killed:

2014-02-18 - Passenger plane hit by series of fire en route to coastal Abu Dhabi (UAE), over the Indian Ocean:

Quote: "The arsonist first struck about 3 to 4 hours into flight, [when] we were over the sea. Most passengers were asleep and fairly unaware. It was extinguished and there was an announcement reminding us all smoking was strictly prohibited. [Airline staff] assumed that’s what caused it..."

Note: So this invisible unidentified unseen 'arsonist' set multiple fires on a passenger plane? Hah, yeah, somehow that doesn't sound too believable. They better convict someone (not merely arrest someone) because if there WAS an arsonist, it's not like he could hop in a car and flee the scene. Also, if someone enters a bathroom then exits it and smoke fills the cabin, people nearby would know who did it, and yet it seems nobody saw anyone who could be responsible. These fires broke out in bathrooms. Both methane and hydrogen sulfide are produced in sewers and sewage facilities and both are highly flammable...

2014-02-18 - Boat and three custom cars destroyed by fire in Abbottstown (Pennsylvania):

2014-02-18 - Power boat, bass boat, sailboat, ATV and garage destroyed by fire at home near coastal Bradenton (Florida):

Quote: "The shed also contained three kayaks, power boat, bass boat, sailboat, ATV, a freezer filled with meat and every tool known to mankind..."

Quote: "Losek said the cause was still under investigation, but Stephens said officials have a hunch the fire was caused by faulty wiring on the power boat."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. This place is right on the coast of Florida, downwind of the Gulf of Mexico. 'Electrical fires' like this have been occurring all over: transformers exploding and burning, vehicles spontaneously igniting, underground electrical infrastructure exploding and/or burning, power poles igniting, Boeing Dreamliner fire problems, the pace car that ignited at the race in Daytona Beach (also Florida), and on and on. Parking vehicles near each other just magnifies the risk that they ALL burn when ANY of them spontaneously ignite, like the six city garbage trucks that just went up in flames at 12:18 AM on Hillcreek Drive in Oberlin (Ohio), as mentioned in the 2014-02-16 update...

2014-02-18 - Tourist boat bursts into flame, burns and sinks, near Ti Top Island in Halong Bay (Vietnam):

Quote: "For some reason as yet unknown in 18.00 parked 45 OR 90. smoke coming from the inside of a bus platter of citizens who reported immediately to the fire department. In a short time fire-fighting Soma gone to the scene by firefighters put out the fire. If starting an investigation into the incident has become unusable bus."

Note: Their English translation is a little lacking ('bus platter of citizens'), but you can still get the gist usually. In this case a bus caught fire, they don't know why, and they put it out. This town is near the Aegean Sea...

2014-02-18 - Semi tractor and three milk trucks destroyed by fire at 6:40 AM while parked at business in Spencer Township (Michigan):

Quote: "There were three milk trucks and a semi inside at the time of the fire, all of which were destroyed. It is unclear what may have caused the fire."

2014-02-18 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame then crashes, on Route 680 near Grundy (Virginia), driver killed:

Quote: "A witness observed the vehicle’s brakes smoking heavily. As the vehicle rounded a curve at the bottom of the hill, it struck a utility pole, a road sign, a railroad bridge and then began to overturn, Burkes said. The vehicle went down an embankment and came to rest upside down in Dismal Creek. Mills was partially ejected and died at the scene..."

Quote: "Further investigation by the trooper and the Virginia State Police Motor Carrier Safety Team determined that the tractor-trailer had caught fire underneath moments before the crash..."

Note: His brakes ignited, then he probably lost braking capability then crashed and died. From the full hypothesis: "Massive vehicles such as big RVs, buses, tanker trucks, tractor trailers, dump trucks, and car-haulers will be destroyed by fire in escalating numbers after tires or brakes ignite." Okay, the fire didn't directly destroy the truck (this time), but indirectly it did, and killed the driver too. Lots of massive vehicles are losing their brakes and crashing now and it's gonna get worse...

  1. Hey Jonny:

That article about the underground transformer fire in Ardmore PA is my old home "stomping grounds."

It's a bit disconcerting to see the electrical grid failing before our eyes and that we're basically helpless to prevent it (and before too long, it won't be possible to keep up with replacements).

    1. Yeah, it's a bit disconcerting. (Hah, nice understatement!)
