Event Update For 2018-03-23

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Severe weather threatens Texas, Oklahoma; flooding possible this week across South

A new storm will develop today in the south-central U.S. The main concern with this new system will be the return of severe weather, and the potential for flash flooding by midweek.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop along a frontal boundary late Sunday in parts of central Texas and southern Oklahoma. On Monday, thunderstorms are more likely to develop and are expected to be more widespread -- from San Angelo, Texas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats. While the tornado threat appears to be low at this time, a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.

The severe threat will move a little further east on Tuesday and will likely impact major Texas cities, such as San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. [more]

    1. Sheeyit I ain't 'fraid of no thunderstorms! I grew up in Tornader Alley. My hometown was hit by a mile wide Tornader that stayed on the ground for 45 minutes. It was exhilarating!

So bring it jet stream! Hit me! Lol...

    2. Well now I'm reminiscing about my Tornader experience. Here's a short video of it below. It says 6+ minutes but it is actually just about 4 and a half. The pictures and video of this mile wide tornado are quite good for the most part after 39 years. I was 14 at the time and was going to that Junior High School that's mentioned. It was the first building in Wichita Falls that was destroyed. I lived in the neighborhood just a mile north of there and saw it from our backyard. I joke about it now but I don't think I've ever been more afraid in my life. That thing looked like it was coming straight for us at first. It was so huge. We rode it out in a closet and even though it missed us by a mile the noise was so loud it was deafening. Quite an experience.

  3. Wow, that tornado was monstrous! I would've been like that guy blown into his garage - it was so big that close that it didn't even look like a tornado. Glad you survived to, uhhh, see the end of the world! Heh.

  4. Thanks Mike, i'll stick with winter storms with the possibility of freezing to death before i'll live anywhere near a tornado.

US demands China reconsider "catastrophic" ban on importing foreign garbage

    © Fred Prouser / Reuters
Amid fears of a potentially devastating trade war between the US and China, Washington has urged Beijing not to implement the ban on US garbage and recyclable materials that Asia's giant threatened to impose last July.

"China's import restrictions on recycled commodities have caused a fundamental disruption in global supply chains for scrap materials, directing them away from productive reuse and toward disposal," the trade representative pointed out, according to Reuters.

The country is also contemplating targeting 128 American products through an imposition of harsh import tariffs.
