Event Update For 2018-03-06

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  3. The conditions are once again setting up for a possible third Nor'easter March 11th to the 13th:

  4. ....and I just saw that the forecast here in Austin is a high of 91 degrees on Saturday. Just that one day though. But still, that's not good. Yesterday it was coolish. I think the high got up to around 68. But yet the sun felt very hot. I was sitting outside and the sun on my skin felt like it was well into the 90s. My cat felt very hot when I touched her. I really think the hot sun phenomenon as reported all over the world has to do with the much diminished ozone layer.

  5. I agree Mike, and i also read yesterday a post about cosmic rays hitting the earth and how harmful that deep space radiation is.

There's this (from the article @ Strange Sounds:

    How does this affect us?

Cosmic rays penetrate commercial airlines, dosing passengers and flight crews so much that pilots are classified by the International Commission on Radiological Protection as occupational radiation workers. Some research shows that cosmic rays can seed clouds and trigger lightning, potentially altering weather and climate. Furthermore, there are studies linking cosmic rays with cardiac arrhythmias in the general population.

The main reason is the sun. Solar storm clouds such as coronal mass ejections (CMEs) sweep aside cosmic rays when they pass by Earth. During Solar Maximum, CMEs are abundant and cosmic rays are held at bay. Now, however, the solar cycle is swinging toward Solar Minimum, allowing cosmic rays to return. Another reason could be the weakening of Earth’s magnetic field, which helps protect us from deep-space radiation.

Cosmic rays will intensify even more in the years ahead as the sun plunges toward what may be the deepest Solar Minimum in more than a century.

[so, like everything else, it's just gonna get worse]

Man, it was hot here about 2 weeks ago when the temp got up to ~ 70. Just like you, I experienced a sun-burn sensation after being out in it all morning raking leaves. You watch yourself out there with that 91 Saturday. I have to wear a hat all the time now due to being an old bald guy, but I understand Texans always have a hat.

There's one thing Trump excels at - blaming other people for his own incompetence...

This is a guy who already has the shallowest bench of leadership talent in U.S. history. You don't have to be a genius to see where this is all heading. And no, it won't be a buying opportunity

The reason why every right wing narrative points to the past as the "good old days" is because that was when wealthy white males predominated. EVERYONE else was their slaves - including non-wealthy white males who outnumbered the wealthy 10:1. In other words, there was no "good old days". And there never was true global balanced trade wherein one country was not accumulating massive trade surpluses at the expense of another. That fantasy period in time has never existed in human history. How do the gold worshippers think that the U.S. got its gold in the first place? Mercantilism.

Mercantilism is a national economic policy designed to maximize the trade of a nation and, historically, to maximize the accumulation of gold and silver [more]

A weaker Gulf Stream means trouble for Coastal New England – “The storms we’re seeing now, people thought this was decades in the future”

[when, after all these years of kicking the can down the road, THE CAN KICKS BACK]

The rugged coast of New England has never recorded a one-two high-water punch like it’s gotten this winter with the nor’easters dubbed Grayson (4 January 2018) and Riley (2-3 March 2018). These storms produced two of the three highest water levels ever measured in Boston Harbor, and both of them produced widespread damage along the Massachusetts coast, with many water rescues carried out.
