Quote: "We will remind, the first messages to the community about a strong smell of hydrogen sulfide in the air appeared in the second half of the day Wednesday, January 4th. First, the increased content of substance in the air was felt only on the street, and later, the tenants began to complain, and in a similar situation in their apartments."

Note: This is now at least the third time that hydrogen sulfide has hit Moscow. A huge cloud of hydrogen sulfide hit Moscow in November 2014, mentioned in the 2014-11-10 update. Residents were told to shelter-in-place during that event and soldiers in gas masks were on the streets. Quote: "Spokesmen from both agencies stressed that they don’t know if fires are being intentionally set and that they have not opened an official investigation, but that they are 'keeping an eye on' the area."

Note: Could be the palm trees are spontaneously igniting. Had lots of towns along the coast in California getting hit by rotten egg odors and hydrogen sulfide in the last few months, and there's surely some odorless methane blowing ashore too, and palm trees have rubbery adsorbent 'skin', so once they adsorb enough flammable gas(es) on their skin, they may burst into flame. Not much different from the incidents involving cardboard/clothing/paper that have burst into flame...

2017-01-07 - Hydrogen sulfide killing fish in Lake Averno (Italy):

Quote: "Lake Averno is situated in the Campi Flegrei volcanic field. Today, hydrogen sulfide present in the waters killed hundreds of fish in the lake. Is that a sign of an imminent eruption of Campi Flegrei? Hundreds of dead fish were found along the shores of Lake Averno in the volcanic field of Campi Flegrei. Next eruption? via Leggo. Today, you will only hear talking about this sudden and strong smell of sulfur around the shores of the lake of Averno, the historical door to the underworld according to Romans."

Quote: "This would be due to the presence of hydrogen sulfide in the water that comes from the volcanic activity below the water surface – emission of fumaroles releasing the strong smell of sulfur."

Note: The bacteria and archaea that produce hydrogen sulfide do grow around volcanic vents, so if Campi Flegrei is pushing lava closer to the surface, then bacterial mats will start growing wherever the water temps rise, there's little or no oxygen in the water, and there's biomatter (like dead fish) or methane present. The story says maybe it's a natural event, as if that means it's of no concern. The Permian-Triassic extinction event - the Great Dying - was a natural event too, and it wiped out most oxygen-using life on this planet. The same thing is happening now. Maybe your toe tag will end up with the words 'natural event' on it, but dead is still dead...

2017-01-08 - Deadly fire destroys mobile home at 3:01 AM in Lafayette (Louisiana), 1 killed:

Quote: "The mobile home and the occupant’s vehicle sustained heavy fire damage."

Note: Vehicle igniting is probably what caused this fire and killed the owner. Since all vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs, parking a vehicle near your residence can easily get you killed nowadays, since by the time fire alarms go off inside the home, escape routes may already be engulfed in flames. Then you're trapped and you die. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any methane and/or hydrogen sulfide in the air above closer to the ground, making fires, explosions and animals and people sickening and/or dying more common during those hours...

2017-01-08 - Deadly fire destroys home shortly after 1 AM along Three Mile Pond in China (Maine), 1 killed:

Quote: "A local man is dead following a house fire early Sunday morning in China. The body of Randall Luck, 65, who lived alone at 13 Washington Boulevard, on Three Mile Pond, was found by firefighters outside his burning home, according to Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety."

Note: He made it outside so could be it was the smoke that killed him. That's always been possible, but now hydrogen sulfide is blowing around and adsorbing onto matter, like homes and cars and wood and trash and clothes, so the smoke from ANY fire may be contaminated now, and thus far more lethal than it ever has been in the past. That's why people have been toppling over into fire pits and dying - whatever they were burning in their pits had been contaminated. The best way to tell if something has been contaminated is to burn it and breathe some of the smoke. If you don't die then it was okay...

Unable to cope with the sheer number of patients, Struggling hospitals have been forced to take highly unusual steps in order to manage a surge in demand for care."

Note: So first there was a spike in dying in the UK, mentioned in the 2016-03-14 update, which resulted in the funeral industry posting some hefty profits. And now the hospital system in the UK is overloaded with people needing medical care. More people dying, more people sickening, on an island nation...

2017-01-14 - Hydrogen sulfide found in the water at beach area in coastal Playa del Carmen (Mexico):

Quote: "According to a release issued by City Council, the Department of Environment carried out a tour of the area taking eight water samples and found the presence of hydrogen sulfide which is being generated by the natural decomposition of organic matter. The smell has been particularly troublesome to beachgoers and business owners in that area as the smell of sewage has been detected as far away as Shangri-La beach, some 300 meters away."

2017-01-14 - Colony of cat-rat chimeras found in home in Lethabong (South Africa):

Quote: "Strange creatures that appears to have a cat’s head and rat’s body has apparently been discovered by a terrified family who called their local church leader to kill them. The animals were found in a house in Lethabong, Rustenburg, in South Africa."

Note: Those are genetic chimeras, a combination of two species. As methane and hydrogen sulfide react away the UV protection in the atmosphere and turn the Sun whiter, the Earth is being hit by more UV, which damages DNA/RNA. It appears Mother Nature has a trick - which humans have replicated in labs - where holes in DNA/RNA are filled with genetic information from another species. We do it in labs with retroviruses, so it is my working hypothesis that Mother Nature also uses viruses to blend species in an effort to 'patch up' genetic damage. Not every species will be able to be blended with any other species. Birds and mammals have different genetic structure, and I haven't seen a bird-mammal chimera yet, so that looks unlikely or impossible. But lizard-human, cow-human, wolf-human, pig-human, cat-rat, fish-human, anything like that - all possibilities which could appear anywhere at any time now.

As this extinction event progresses, we're extremely likely to see all kinds of new lifeforms, and sometimes there will be enough to form a breeding colony and establish a new species. Some of these could be extremely dangerous to humanity, like human-lizard chimeras which reproduce via parthenogenesis, needing only one individual for reproduction, and which have hands and near-human (or better) intelligence. If such a species gains a foothold, they could rapidly raise armies and they would not be likely to be friendly to humans. On the plus side, this means that even if humans go extinct (extremely likely), fragments of our DNA may yet live on, embedded in other new species that arise, species which may have a much better chance of surviving this extinction event than we do...

2017-01-17 - Hydrogen sulfide leaking from sewers in coastal Warwick (Rhode Island), smoke test to be performed:

Quote: "The mystery cause of odors from sewer lines along Cedar Swamp Road, a long-time source of area residents’ complaints, may soon be uncovered as the Warwick Sewer Authority (WSA) conducts a 'smoke test' of the system there. Janine Burke-Wells, WSA’s Executive Director, said her office has received complaints about odors in the area for the last nine years. In fall of 2011, a sewer line on Cedar Swamp Road, corroded by hydrogen sulfide, collapsed. The corrosive gas, which smells like rotten eggs, also generated complaints from neighbors. Following the collapse, the WSA installed odor control chemicals at three pump stations, removed an obstruction that was causing hydrogen sulfide buildup, adjusted pumping frequencies to prevent stagnant wastes, flushed the lines there, added carbon filters and sent staff to investigate complaints. Those efforts were focused on controlling the odors. Now, 'We would like to prevent the odors, if possible,' she said."

Note: I wonder how many people in this area have dropped dead from heart attacks, strokes and brain aneurysms in the last few years...

Children have burned to death in cars in recent times because parents ran inside a home or store or whatever for 'just a minute'. Well, that's all it takes to kill someone trapped in a burning car, and now that cars are randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time, it's extremely risky to leave any living being inside a car, even for a minute. Officials said the woman called 911 around 10:00 p.m. saying she was trapped in her burning car on North Cannon Street near North Ridgeview Place. She said she was trying to kick out the windows but she couldn’t. Even though this was a fire call, it was also broadcast on police channels and multiple officers from the county and city arrived on scene."

Note: She would've ended up another charred corpse in a burning car if not for the cop who saved her. The fire had knocked out the controls for her locks and windows, so she was trapped. That's happened to many people, and many of them have died, sometimes screaming in agony as they burned to death. 2017-01-23 - Couple, 32 and 35, and two cats drop dead in apartment in coastal Berkeley (California):

Quote: "'The persons were not in a central location in the unit,' Officer Byron White said. 'Their cause of death is not immediately apparent.' Officials ruled out carbon monoxide or radiation poisoning after tests came back negative for those elements."

Quote: "Police say what was unusual is they saw no signs of trauma, no forced entry, no pill bottles, or anything that would indicate a cause of death."

Note: Here's a Google Maps link of the area. From the full hypothesis: "Humans will sicken and die, especially in, near, or downwind of low-lying areas such as bodies of water. People found dead will often show no sign of injury, and this will include young and healthy people."

I don't know if they checked for hydrogen sulfide. They probably didn't though, because in normal times there'd be no reason to do so. But there are several scenarios that could have resulted in these deaths via hydrogen sulfide. First, their water may have been contaminated - hydrogen sulfide is water-soluble. Maybe they cooked dinner with contaminated water and put some water down for the cats at the same time. But wouldn't other people in the building have gotten hit too? Not necessarily - it might come in via the same water source, but with just one short-lived burst of contaminated water, and they were the 'lucky ones' who got it. Secondly, they could've gotten gassed via hydrogen sulfide infiltrating their apartment through an HVAC system or window. It would then have killed them, settled to the ground and gotten reacted away fairly quickly by ground-level ozone, leaving no trace in the air. Thirdly, they could have gotten some on their clothes while outdoors, come home, hugged their cats, and then they all died shortly later, possibly via hydrogen sulfide's delayed-reaction killing ability. In none of these three scenarios would there have been anything in the air when people showed up. Of these three scenarios, the most likely is probably contaminated water. And since they'd been dead a while, and since hydrogen sulfide disappears inside the human body quickly, within hours, they won't find that in any autopsies either. It's insidious and sneaky in that respect, and 'the authorities' are working hard to hide what's happening too even if it weren't so insidious and sneaky. Rotten egg odors and hydrogen sulfide have hit numerous towns up and down the California coast in recent months, and Berkeley is right on the coast. Watch for more couples dropping dead in their homes, especially in coastal communities...
