2015-07-01 - Mysterious underground fire creates smoking holes in the ground in swampy area near Old Wahong (India):

Quote: "A continuous flow of smoke and ashes from a swamp at a place near Old Wahong village of Manipur's Ukhrul district has left villagers fearing of natural calamity in the form of volcanic eruption any time, a daily reported Tuesday. Villagers said that smoke radius of about two feet along with ashes have been seen gushing out from the earth's surface at Shitru area, since last two weeks."

Quote: "A mysterious underground fire has created numerous sink-holes that emit smoke and gas in a nearby forest of Old Wahong Village in Northern Ukhrul."

Quote: "According to villagers, the inferno had so far engulfed an area of about 40 sq ft creating various sink-holes on the ground at a nearby forest areas locally known as Sitru located about 1 km toward south of Old Wahong habitation. They said that the locals came to know of the mysterious phenomenon after a 16-year old boy Wisdom accidentally slipped his foot into the ground while venturing into the forest with a friend around the end of May last. He sustained grievous burn injuries on his left foot."

2015-07-01 - Underground electrical fire breaks out in coastal Brooklyn (New York), subway transit disrupted:

Note: More underground fires. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas which will tend to flow to low-lying areas, like underground facilities. It's also reactive with rust and electrified copper, so it's causing problems with electrical infrastructure, including the wiring in vehicles of all kinds. But methane and hydrogen sulfide are also coming up FROM the ground, thus those methane explosion craters in Siberia in the last year, and the hydrogen sulfide they found six feet down in the soil near Chinchilla (Australia) last year. So the ground itself may simply ignite or explode here and there, as with the ground burning at that village in India. Both gases are also water-soluble, thus the river on fire in China and the burning lake in India. Once that huge methane clathrate deposit off the US East Coast really gets going we may see the ocean itself ignite, and if it does then we may never be able to put that fire out. Eventually the oxygen levels in the atmosphere will drop so low that all the fires around the world will sputter out, but we'll be long gone by then, since we need oxygen too...

2015-07-02 - Freight train bursts into flame in the wee hours in Maryville (Tennessee), 5000 people evacuated, cyanide kits issued:

Quote: "Despite initial reports that train cars derailed, there was no derailment and the fire only involved one car, Blount County Sheriff's spokeswoman Marian O'Briant said. Authorities ordered a 2-mile evacuation, and hazmat crews responded to the scene, O'Briant said."

Quote: "From what I understand the chemical that has been released, one of the by products of combustion, being on fire, is it released cyanide..."

Note: Not a derailment, just a chemical tanker car bursting into flame. Apparently it was hauling a nasty chemical in that car which, if burned, produces cyanide gas, thus the cyanide kits issued, in case people in the area started collapsing and dying from cyanide poisoning. That's also why so many people were evacuated. Luckily, as we were just assured a few days ago, when two different trains caught fire, mentioned in the 2015-06-22 update, train fires are extremely rare *cough cough*...

2015-07-03 - Russian MiG-29 fighter jet bursts into flame and crashes near Kushchevskaya (Russia), pilot ejects:

Quote: "A fire onboard caused the crash of a Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter jet near the village of Kushchevskaya in the Krasnodar territory, a source in the regional law enforcement authorities told Interfax-AVN. 'The plane caught fire while flying in the airfield area. The pilot immediately informed the ground. The flight supervisor confirmed that he saw smoke billowing behind the plane and ordered [the pilot] to eject,' the source said."

Note: This is the 78th aircraft to smoke or burn in 2015. An F-35 just burst into flame too, at coastal Eglin Air Force Base (Florida), mentioned in the 2015-06-23 update. And a C-130 Hercules just caught fire and crashed into a residential area, killing 141+ people, on coastal Sumatra Island (Indonesia), mentioned in the 2015-06-30 update. More flammable gases in the atmosphere, planes fly through the atmosphere, more planes smoking, burning and/or crashing, couldn't be any simpler...

2015-07-03 - Boat bursts into flame in Willard Bay (Utah):

Note: Also see the garbage truck that burst into flame on I-15 near Willard Bay on this day...

2015-07-03 - Boat bursts into flame while docked in Fells Point in coastal Baltimore (Maryland):

Quote: "A boat goes up in flames in Southeast Baltimore. It happened at S. Wolfe and Thames streets in the Fells Point neighborhood. There were reports of a 30-foot pleasure boat fully involved in flames."

2015-07-03 - Boat bursts into flame on the Colorado River near Needles (California):

2015-07-03 - Boat bursts into flame as man works on it at home near Chocowinity (North Carolina), 1 injured:

Note: These are the 589th, 590th, 591st and 592nd boats or ships to burn/explode in 2015...

2015-07-04 - Huge pile of scrap metal bursts into flame at 5 AM at recycling center in Kapolei (Hawaii), near the coast:

Quote: "Honolulu firefighters responded to a fire at the Island Recycling center in Kapolei Saturday morning. Authorities arrived at the Island Recycling site on Kaomi Loop at approximately 5 a.m. Saturday to find a large pile of scrap metal on fire. Fire Captain David Jenkins said the pile is about 100 feet by 400 feet and approximately 40 feet high."

2015-07-04 - Auto salvage business hit by fire, 20 vehicles burn, in Indianapolis (Indiana):

Quote: "Nearly 20 vehicles on fire at an auto salvage business produced a column of black smoke that could be seen for several miles Saturday afternoon."

2015-07-04 - Scrap metal yard hit by fire, hundreds of scrap cars burn, in Horsham (Australia):

Quote: "WorkSafe is looking into the operating processes of a Horsham scrap metal yard, in south-west Victoria, where fire destroyed hundreds of crushed cars last week. Thick plumes of smoke hovered above the Hamilton Road business when crews reached the blaze on Monday night. They worked overnight to contain the fire from spreading into a neighbouring tyre warehouse. Detectives said the fire was not suspicious but an exact cause was yet to be determined."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Metal-related businesses will be hit hard, including salvage yards and metal recycling centers."

2015-07-05 - Naked person found swimming near apartments in Oklahoma City (Oklahoma), taken to hospital:

2015-07-05 - Naked man acts erratic, tries to break into woman's home, in DeLand (Florida):

2015-07-05 - Naked man acts erratic, steals police cruiser, gets arrested, in Clovis (New Mexico):

2015-07-05 - Naked man, 29, tased and arrested at 3:16 AM in Monroe (Louisiana):

2015-07-05 - Man, 27, strips naked, sits on manhole cover, gets arrested, in Norfolk (Nebraska):

2015-07-05 - Naked man, 30, breaks into vehicle, tussles with cops, gets tased, in Yuma (Arizona):

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is neurotoxic and damages brains, which can cause all different kinds of effects, including hallucinations and delusions, personality change, memory loss, paralysis, unconsciousness, coma, death. It also heats you up sometimes, so as you go insane you may strip naked. You're most apt to be turned into a neuro-zombie yourself in the wee hours or when in, near or downwind of low-lying areas like bodies of water, valleys, canyons, basements, underground parking garages, that kind of thing. Mostly though, hydrogen sulfide just kills you. If you smell anything strange, especially anything sweet, or like licorice, or flowers, and there's no discernible reason for it, you may be getting poisoned. If the fade smells, that doesn't mean the problem is gone either, because hydrogen sulfide causes 'olfactory fatigue' and you stop being ABLE to smell it, even if it's still present.

You can also be poisoned by touching contaminated matter. For example, some hydrogen sulfide blows by in the wee hours and adsorbs onto your car upholstery while you're asleep in bed. Then you get into your car and go driving the next day - you might fall unconscious at the wheel or slump over dead. Porous matter is most easily contaminated because it's got lots of surface area. That means cardboard, paper, cloth, fibrous stuff like insulation, powders or dusts of any kind, wood, concrete, generic trash. This is why numerous people have been found dead in garbage bins or at recycling centers - they're looking for cans or whatever to recycle and they're touching and moving the trash around and getting poisoned by contaminated matter.

Also, hydrogen sulfide is water-soluble, so any kind of water may be contaminated, and if you touch that water then you may sicken or die. In a lake there may be a blob of water that's contaminated four feet down, but ten feet away the water is fine. If you get in water and die then you'll know that you touched contaminated water. If you get in water and don't die, then you didn't touch contaminated water. That's how you'll be able to tell. Of course, there is somewhat of a downside to this detection method...

2015-07-06 - Hundreds of birds dying in coastal San Lorenzo (Honduras):

Quote: "It has caused great excitement among the population the mass death of birds in San Lorenzo, Valle, southern Honduras. Especially chickens, roosters and chickens have been affected with sudden deaths so far unexplained. Apparently in the upper parts of the town wild birds falling dead from the trees as neighbors calling radio stations are observed. Between 200 and 300 flying species have fallen fulminated but no one knows the specific causes that caused their deaths."

Note: Dozens of birds were just found dead along a road in Kuna (Idaho) too, mentioned in the 2015-07-01 update, no signs of injury or disease. There've been numerous incidents involving flocks of birds dropping dead from the sky in recent years. That's obviously not disease because no disease strikes an entire flock in flight, so it has to be something environmental. Since they're in the air when they fall from the sky, it has to be something in the atmosphere, which means it's a gas. In early 2011 (about two days after a huge number of birds dropped dead in Beebe, Arkansas) I smelled an unfamiliar odor in the wee hours and right after that a flock of birds fell out of the sky dead and landed on the garage across the street from me. That was about a year and a half before birds began mysteriously disappearing over the ocean between Scotland and Britain, the so-called 'Birdmuda Triangle', mentioned in the 2012-08-29 update...

2015-07-06 - Largest Gulf Coast bird colony in Florida, on Seahorse Key, now completely empty of birds:

Quote: "In May, Seahorse Key fell eerily quiet, as thousands of birds suddenly disappeared, and biologists are trying to find the reason why. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologist Vic Doig said what was once the largest bird colony on the state's Gulf Coast is now a 'dead zone.' Scientists have found no indication that disease, contaminants or predators are to blame."

Note: They either fled an increasingly hostile environment or they died while out looking for food and their bodies were eaten by whatever other animals are still alive out there, if there are any animals still alive in that area. Plenty of people have been mysteriously dying in Florida too, and sometimes people are stripping naked and going insane in Florida too. Florida's downwind of the Gulf of Mexico, North America's sewer, so none of that is surprising...

2015-07-06 - 30 sea birds, a whale and 2 sea lions found dead at beach in Tacna (Peru):

Quote: "In place other dead animals were also found, including two sea lions and 30 birds. The authorities have been unable to determine the cause of death of the birds."

2015-07-06 - Bottlenose dolphin and elephant seal wash ashore dead at Ocean Beach (California):

Quote: "A bottlenose dolphin and an elephant seal became the latest in a string of marine mammals to be found dead along the Northern California coast after they floated ashore at Ocean Beach, officials said."

Quote: "Today's beachings follow multiple cases of dead whales appearing on our coast over the last couple of months."

2015-07-06 - Thousands of fish found dead in the Porong River in Java (Indonesia):

2015-07-06 - 8,000 sardines found dead in reservoir in Toa Alta (Puerto Rico):

2015-07-06 - Fish dying in lake in Nanhai District (China):

Note: Not looking good for oxygen-using life on this planet. But that's how these extinction events work: steady but increasingly hyperbolic escalation until most oxygen-using life is dead. Bacteria will definitely survive, and fungi and some plants. I think some insects will survive again too, as they have before, though even insects took a serious beating during the Permian-Triassic extinction. Anything else, very iffy. And primates? Not a chance...

Quote: "According to Olsen, a humpback whale hasn't washed up in Denmark in 110 years."

2015-07-07 - Fish dying in Negros Oriental (Philippine Islands):

Note: And here's another pile of animal die-offs. This planet's gonna be eerie when all that's left alive are bacteria, fungi, weeds, jellyfish, bugs and (maybe) rodents...

2015-07-08 - Passenger plane engine bursts into flame during takeoff, takeoff aborted, in Chicago (Illinois):

Quote: "Imagine looking out of a plane’s window during takeoff and seeing an engine catch fire. That’s what happened to a Boston-bound Southwest Airlines flight at Chicago’s Midway International Airport Wednesday night."

Note: This is the 79th aircraft to smoke or burn in 2015...

2015-07-08 - Auto scrapyard hit by fire in Stittsville, Ontario (Canada):

2015-07-10 - Woman, 58, found burned to death from 'flash fire' outside her home in Northfield (New Hampshire):

Quote: "A woman was found dead outside of her Oak Hill Road home Friday afternoon the apparent victim of some kind of flash fire. Tilton-Northfield Fire Department Captain Sean Valovanie confirmed that an as-yet unidentified woman, thought to be about 58 years old, was found dead outside her home at 560 Oak Hill Road about 2 p.m."

Quote: "Hutchinson said there apparently was a fire, and smoking materials were found outside the home after the fire near where the victim's body was found."

Quote: "Representatives from the state Fire Marshal's Office and the state Medical Examiner's Office were at the scene of the incident Friday afternoon. 'The police are handling it at this point,' Valovanie said, adding there is no indication at this time of foul play."

Note: 'Flash fires' are flammable gas(es) in the air burning off. She was outside so the only gases that could realistically have burned her to death are methane and hydrogen sulfide. If you have a lit cigarette when a cloud of flammable gas blows over you, you're likely to die from a 'flash fire' just like her. This has happened a fair number of times now...

2015-07-10 - Passenger plane engine hit by fire and smoke at 6 AM, plane aborts takeoff, in Chicago (Illinois):

Quote: "For the second time in 48 hours, a Southwest Airlines flight aborted takeoff at Midway Airport. Flight 4384 was on the runway when smoke was reportedly seen coming out of the right engine. Amy Schubert, a passenger on the Philadelphia-bound flight, said the plane was taxiing down the runway around 6 a.m. Friday when it was directed to the side and stopped. Emergency crews surrounded the aircraft. 'The captain got on and told us people behind us reported seeing flames,' Schubert said."

Note: A passenger plane engine burst into flame at this airport two days prior too, also causing an aborted takeoff, mentioned in the 2015-07-08 update. This is the 80th aircraft to smoke or burn in 2015...

2015-07-10 - Car bursts into flame while parked inside garage at car dealership in Chadds Ford (Pennsylvania):

Quote: "It happened around 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Garnet Ford on the 1600 block of Wilmington Pike. Officials say one of cars being stored inside a garage caught fire. The garage was the only building damaged."

Note: Here's a few of the more interesting fires on this day - a woman being incinerated outside her home, another passenger plane spitting fire, and a car just sitting in a storage building bursting into flame. Danger lurks everywhere now...

2015-07-11 - Beach explodes in coastal Narragansett (Rhode Island), woman injured:

Quote: "He said there were also some reports that people on the beach smelled some sort of chemical smell, perhaps sulphur or butane."

Quote: "Another beachgoer, Stacey Beal, described a gas odor at the scene."

Quote: "Witnesses described hearing a loud boom noise and seeing the woman get launched from her beach chair into the air. Others reported smelling chemicals, like sulfur, but oddly, there was no smoke or other indications of an explosion."

Note: And the day prior, three fishing boats went up in flames in the wee hours in Narragansett too, mentioned in the 2015-07-10 update. Off the East Coast, a methane clathrate deposit containing 5 trillion pounds of methane is dissociating (melting). Some of that gas will migrate up through the ground and cause explosions and fires. People smelled something too, and that was probably hydrogen sulfide, the sulfur smell or 'gas odor'. The two gases go together because the ancient anaerobic bacteria and archaea that produce hydrogen sulfide eat, among other things, methane. This event is similar to the explosively-formed gas-explosion craters seen in the last year or so on the Yamal Peninsula in Siberia (Russia). This is one of those 'marker events' that we'll be able to look back on later as more coastal areas explode around the world...

2015-07-12 - Boat explodes and burns on Kentucky Lake at Moors Resort in Gilbertsville (Kentucky), 6 injured:

Quote: "Six people are being treated for burns after a boat caught fire Sunday at Moors Resort in Marshall County. According to the Marshall County Rescue Squad, the boat exploded near gas pumps."

2015-07-12 - Boat bursts into flame on Lake McAlester in Pittsburg County (Oklahoma):

Quote: "The adults and children evacuated the boat unharmed. Patrolmen attempted to tow the boat to shore, but it broke apart and sank because of the massive fire damage. Authorities say they don't know what caused the motor to catch fire."

2015-07-12 - Boat bursts into flame at 6:45 AM at Branchport Park in Long Branch (New Jersey), 1 injured:

2015-07-12 - Boat explodes and burns on the St. Johns River in Astor (Florida), 1 injured:

Note: Boats have really been burning and/or exploding pretty hard lately. These are the 624th, 625th, 626th and 627th boats or ships to burn/explode in 2015...

2015-07-13 - Underground electrical fire forces evacuation of two apartment buildings in coastal Manhattan (New York):

Quote: "Two apartment buildings in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan were evacuated Monday evening when a manhole fire on the street sent carbon monoxide inside, Con Edison says. Power is also out to the buildings on the 200 block of Audubon Avenue after the manhole fire."

2015-07-13 - Underground electrical explosion and fire blacks out parts of Crystal Lake (Illinois):

Quote: "An underground fire Monday in Crystal Lake caused power outages, which at one point affected about 2,000 people, fire officials and ComEd representatives said. The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department responded about 6 p.m. to Knaack Boulevard and Route 176 after the cover of a manhole on Knaack Boulevard reportedly blew off, Battalion Chief Thomas Pollnow said on the scene."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas that seeks out low-lying areas, like basements, bodies of water, canyons, ditches, underground facilities, etc. It's also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. Not only is that causing problems with underground electrical infrastructure but that's also what's causing many of the parked vehicle fires. A sulfur smell was noted at that beach that exploded and injured a woman in coastal Narragansett (Rhode Island), mentioned in the 2015-07-11 update. Both New York City and London pumped innocuous heavier-than-air gases into their subway systems to see where a heavier-than-air gas would go once inside the subways. The London subway gas test was mentioned in the 2013-06-14 update. The NYC subway gas test was mentioned in the 2013-04-26 update. Both cities, not coincidentally, are coastal cities. The US also stationed two billion-dollar blimps, primary mission to detect 'air-breathing threats', along the East Coast late last year, mentioned in the 2014-12-21 update...

2015-07-14 - Underground electrical explosion and fire hits Toledo (Ohio), 5th underground explosion in 4 weeks in Toledo:

Quote: "Two downtown Toledo buildings were evacuated Tuesday afternoon after an underground explosion. It was the fifth underground explosion in the past month."

2015-07-14 - Underground electrical explosion hits coastal Los Angeles (California), UCLA goes to backup power:

Quote: "On scene, fire Battalion Chief Antoine McKnight described a 'pretty significant explosion' that was contained to a DWP vault."

2015-07-14 - Underground fire burns for a month and still burning, in coastal North Dartmouth (Massachusetts):

Quote: "Dartmouth District 3 Fire Chief Richard Arruda said firefighters have been to the site about 30 hours over four dates since June 28 to suppress the stubborn underground fire. Firefighters respond to the pit at 383 Hixville Road and each time they believe it has been extinguished, leave the property, only to have it pop back up a few days later."

Note: This sounds like an event that happened in 2012 where a fire broke out along the edge of Lake Woytchugga (Australia) and firefighters couldn't put it out, unextinguishable, mentioned in the 2012-12-12 update. And now that I think about it, that fire on the edge of that lake wasn't all that dissimilar to the beachside explosion that threw a woman and injured her a few days ago in coastal Narragansett (Rhode Island), mentioned in the 2015-07-11 update. Nobody mentioned a sulfur odor in that lakeside fire, whereas they did in Narragansett, and it was a fire at the lake rather than an explosion, but otherwise, pretty similar...

2015-07-15 - Underground electrical fire blows manholes off, blacks out 4000 homes, in coastal Long Beach (California):

Quote: "Thousands of Long Beach customers were without power Wednesday after an underground electrical fire downtown that caused manhole covers to blow off, forcing police to close several streets."

Quote: "Thousands of Long Beach residents are without electricity for a second day as crews struggle to end a blackout caused by fires in three electrical vaults."

Note: Thousands of homes were still without power after 2 days. Still not as bad as the massive underground fire that hit coastal London (Britain) in April, mentioned in the 2015-04-01 update, or the huge underground fire that took out power to a goodly chunk of Calgary (Canada) for almost a week, mentioned in the 2014-10-11 update...

2015-07-16 - Passenger plane engine bursts into flame, plane makes emergency landing in coastal Seattle (Washington):

Quote: "A Delta Air Lines flight heading from Alaska to Georgia had to make an emergency stop at the Seattle airport early Thursday after one of its engines caught fire, officials said."

Note: This is the 81st aircraft to smoke or burn in 2015...

2015-07-16 - Chemical plant explodes and burns at port in coastal Rizhao (China):

Quote: "A giant explosion of a chemical tank at Rizhao Port today saw local authorities seed the clouds in the area to make it rain and help douse the dangerous inferno. The tank, containing liquid hydrogen, caught fire in the Lanbei part of the port. The city sent more than 50 fire engines and about 300 firemen to put out the fire. As of 4.30pm local time, the fire had still not been put out."

Note: Dayum, check out the video of the explosion in the youtube link. From the full hypothesis: "Likewise, chemical plants of all types will burn and/or explode, including biofuels plants, fertilizer plants, specialty chemical plants, petroleum-related facilities and more."

2015-07-16 - Metal recycling center erupts in flame shortly before 4 AM in Calgary (Canada):

Quote: "The call came in around 3:30 a.m. with four trucks and a dozen firefighters responding. When fire crews arrived, there were flames up to 20 feet high coming off one of the scrap piles in the yard."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Metal-related businesses will be hit hard, including salvage yards and metal recycling centers."

2015-07-16 - Recycling center hit by fire in Effingham (Illinois):

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Trash-related facilities such as recycling centers and landfills will burn hard too, as hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into flammable absorbent materials like wood, paper, cardboard, straw, hay, dried brush, generic trash, clothing, cotton, wool."

2015-07-17 - Wildfires growing more destructive and lasting longer almost everywhere on the planet:

2015-07-17 - Earth has entered the 'Age of Super Fires':

2015-07-17 - Brush fire destroys cars, trucks and boat on I-15 in the Cajon Pass (California), people abandon vehicles and flee:

Quote: "At least several dozen cars were in flames Friday as a fast-moving wildfire jumped over a Southern California freeway, major news sources reported."

Quote: "Dozens of vehicles were abandoned and hundreds of others turned onto side roads to get away from the flames as water-dropping helicopters flew overhead. Temperatures were in the high 90s. 2015-07-18 - Driver has 'medical condition', dump truck veers across median, hits cars, 23+ vehicle pileup ensues, on I-5 near Mount Vernon (Washington), 6 injured:

Quote: "The driver of a dump truck that crashed on Interstate 5 in Mount Vernon, triggering a 28-vehicle pileup that injured six people, suffered a medical condition that caused him to lose control of his rig, the Washington State Patrol said Sunday."

Note: Just east (downwind) of the Skagit River...

2015-07-18 - Man has 'medical emergency', pickup crashes, two rollovers ensue, in Greenville (North Carolina), 1 injured:

Quote: "Greenville Police say a driver's medical emergency caused 2 rollover accidents during the morning commute Saturday."

Note: As the oceans belch increasing amounts of methane and hydrogen sulfide, more people are losing consciousness, having seizures or 'medical events' or dropping dead. Some of the people affected will be drivers, so as time goes on, more drivers will be incapacitated or killed while driving. A lot of these incidents go under the radar because responders show up and find a car wrapped around a car and the driver dead, or they find two vehicles crumpled into nothing in a head-on collision with everyone dead, or they find cars submerged in bodies of water with everyone inside dead, so there's nobody around to notice that the driver was spazzing and/or dying prior to the crash. Basically, you shouldn't count on people staying conscious - or even alive - while driving. Also see the man who slumped over dead in his big rig on I-10 in San Dimas (California) on this day...

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes and burns near Henderson (Nevada), 4 injured:

Quote: "John described the condition of the passengers, 'their skin was melting off them,' he said, prompting him to cool the men with his wet t-shirt and by pouring water on them."

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes near Buffalo Bill Reservoir near Cody (Wyoming), 4 killed

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes on Lake Michigan beach near Holland State Park (Michigan), engine failure:

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes at Land O'Lakes Municipal Airport (Wisconsin), 2 lightly injured:

2015-07-19 - Small plane makes belly landing at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh (Wisconsin):

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes shortly after takeoff, in Linden (New Jersey), engine failure:

2015-07-19 - Small plane crashes in Wedderburn (Australia), near coastal Sydney, engine failure, 1 killed, 1 injured:

Note: As the atmosphere is increasingly contaminated, not only are more aircraft burning, but they're crashing too. It won't always be the same reason. Some crashes are caused by the pilot losing consciousness or dying in the cockpit, some are caused when the plane gains altitude and hits a pocket of atmosphere that has too little oxygen for the engine to run and the engine sputters out, and occasionally aircraft are coming down on fire or being knocked out of the sky by an explosion, like the medical helicopter that crashed after being hit by a 'flash of light' in Oklahoma City (Oklahoma), killing 2 people, mentioned in the 2013-03-13 update. Small aircraft are more vulnerable to these problems, especially the low-oxygen problem, than big passenger planes. Your odds of surviving a plane flight are still very good, but the odds are worsening day by day....

Quote: "On Monday morning, residents of Lakshmipura in Anekal taluk were shocked to find stagnant water on the streets boiling and gas emanating from the ground, catching fire at many places. Experts said the fire was due to methane gas emission from the nearby Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) landfill site."

2015-07-20 - Railroad bridge goes up in flames in Cuevitas, near Sullivan City (Texas):

Note: More underground fires, another landfill causing fiery problems, and another railroad bridge on fire. That landfill sounds very dangerous. They should evacuate people from that area, at least until they fix the problem, if they CAN fix the problem, which seems mighty iffy...

2015-07-24 - Power plant devastated by massive blaze in Betul (India):

2015-07-24 - Transformer explodes and burns, ignites gas line, along Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur (Missouri):

Note: More electrical infrastructure exploding and/or burning. Keep those flashlights handy! Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. Hydrogen sulfide is also a heavier-than-air gas, thus the rise in underground electrical stuff exploding and burning. Some of the larger underground electrical fires have cut power to homes and businesses for many days. As the oceans and seas continue to warm and spew methane, increasing amounts of that methane will be turned into hydrogen sulfide by the ancient anaerobic bacteria and archaea that existed on this planet long before oxygen-using life made its debut. Eventually this problem will wipe out the grid, and it will also kill off most oxygen-using life on the planet, just as has happened in the past...

2015-07-25 - Helicopter crashes into the Black Sea near beach in Tsarevo (Bulgaria):

Note: Those 'friendly skies' are looking might unfriendly these days. As the atmospheric contamination intensifies, flying through the atmosphere is obviously going to become increasingly dangerous. Passenger planes are safer than small planes, but they're having problems too, with people sickening or losing consciousness, running off runways, experiencing engine fires, occasionally crashing, and just flat-out disappearing in one instance...

2015-07-26 - Small plane crashes into lake near coastal Airlie Beach (Australia), 1 injured:

Note: Yikes, not looking good for the aviation industry, especially small planes. You're not really safe from plane crashes staying on the ground either though - one of the people killed in the plane crash in Japan was on the ground and got killed by the plane crashing into that residential area. On the other hand, you're generally safer on the ground than in one of the crashing planes, that's for sure...

Quote: "Fire crews are fighting a blaze at a factory in Seven Hills in the second incident of its kind within three days in Sydney’s west."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Trash-related facilities such as recycling centers and landfills will burn hard too, as hydrogen sulfide is absorbed into flammable absorbent materials like wood, paper, cardboard, straw, hay, dried brush, generic trash, clothing, cotton, wool." Major international insurers dropped out of the recycling insurance business more than a year ago, mentioned in the 2014-04-04 update. If they'd listened to me a year or two earlier then they might have saved themselves a few hundred million dollars or more. The fires alone were enough to get them moving out of the business though - they didn't need to know WHY recycling facilities had begun going up in flames, just that that was the case...
