Event Update For 2014-02-28

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Smorgasbord of Doom
There was too much happening on this date so I couldn't decide which of two things to spotlight. So, here they both are: a pile of unusual vehicular accidents, and a number of neuro-zombie incidents:
2014-02-28 - Driver loses consciousness, car hits pole, fire erupts, near Boone (North Carolina), 1 injured:
Quote: "...she briefly lost consciousness as a result of a medical condition. Her vehicle crossed the yellow line, traveled down an embankment and crashed head-on into a Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative Utility pole..."
2014-02-28 - Driver has seizure, veers over centerline, hits car head-on, near Sapulpa (Oklahoma), 1 killed, 3 injured:
Quote: "Box said it appeared one of the drivers had a seizure, left the northbound lane and and hit the other car head on."
2014-02-28 - Driver has seizure after pickup crashes and bursts into flame, in coastal Wilmington (North Carolina):
Quote: "Lt. Yanacek with the Wilmington Police Department said that after crashing, the vehicle caught on fire, and the driver began having a seizure."
2014-02-28 - Driver experiences 'medical condition', veers over centerline, hits SUV head-on, in Dickson (Tennessee), 1 killed:
2014-02-28 - Man, 55, dies while driving, truck crashes into home in Grand Junction (Colorado):
Note: Well, like I've mentioned, you shouldn't expect to remain conscious (or even alive) while driving, nor count on others drivers to do so either. Hydrogen sulfide is knocking people unconscious, giving them seizures, causing 'medical events', etc, and in some cases it is flat-out killing people as they drive (or walk, or sleep). That makes driving increasingly dangerous...
2014-02-28 - Man crashes car, gets naked, runs down the Long Island Expressway in coastal Long Island (New York):
Quote: "According to Gantt, the man was taking off his clothes and streaking down the center median of the highway in Brookhaven Town at 11:50 a.m. after crashing his car into the center median, despite the icy cold temperatures."
Note: Hydrogen sulfide warms you up, as Jenkem users have noted. So as more people get poisoned by hydrogen sulfide, it looks like we're gonna see more people getting naked and acting crazy. The craziness is caused by brain damage; hydrogen sulfide is a broad-spectrum poison but it affects neurology as much as any bodily system. You'll be most likely to zombify yourself near, in or downwind of low-lying areas like bodies of water, ravines, ditches, valleys, canyons, etc, or in your basement if you live in a building that has one...
2014-02-28 - In separate incidents, man and woman run naked down I-5 in separate directions in Kalama (Washington):
Quote: "Troopers were called at 10:21 p.m. for an initial report of a naked woman running south in the southbound lane near the Todd Road exit in Kalama, said Trooper Will Finn. As they were responding, they received call of a naked man running northbound — in the opposite direction from the woman."
Quote: "Troopers never found the reported naked man."
Note: Kalama is located on the eastern (downwind) banks of the Columbia River...

Quote: "Two plow trucks, one brand new, a pickup, a tractor that moves equipment – everything is lost..."

Quote: "The building, located off Engle Road, housed trucks, mowers, handtools, snow removing equipment. 'You name it. Everything was in it. Everything,' he said."

Quote: "The forecasters are predicting a winter storm to hit Western Pennsylvania Sunday into Monday, with several inches of snow expected along with the possibility of sleet and ice."

Note: Kinda like the fire in Mount Albert (Canada) that destroyed all of the town's fire trucks (2014-02-02 update), or the fire in Centralia (Illinois) which wiped out all the town's garbage trucks and forced the town to RENT garbage trucks (2013-05-03 update). Putting an entire town's important vehicles (of whatever type) in one building is insane now, because once one vehicle spontaneously ignites then all of the vehicles around may go up in flames and then the town may lose important capability, like snow-removal capability in this case...

2014-02-28 - Recycling facility hit by fire just before 3 AM in Grantham (Britain):

2014-02-28 - Multiple wildfires erupt near I-40 in Shawnee, as many as 50 boats destroyed (Oklahoma):

Quote: "Plumes of heavy, black smoke filled the air Friday as one of four grass fires along Interstate 40 burned as many as 50 boats and other equipment at a boat dealership near Bryan Street."

Quote: "Boaties' owner, Donnie Romberg, said the wildfire burned $400,000 in boats and equipment. He said he had no insurance on the boats in the yard."

As the bus sped downhill, the students could do little but hold onto each other before the collision..."

Note: Tires and brake pads are absorbing hydrogen sulfide. Then when brakes are applied, an unusual amount of heat is generated, since hydrogen sulfide burns very hot. Then bad things can happen: tires explode or ignite, brakes burn out or ignite, fluid lines rupture, the entire vehicle goes up in flames, or all of the above. This problem hits massive vehicles the worst - like fire trucks, buses, tanker trucks, etc - but no vehicle is immune. There have been many crashes like this, especially in the last year or so, and there will be many more. Don't count on your brakes working when you need them to work...

  1. Hey Jonny:

As time goes by we're only going to see more and more of this (and it looks like, at least in PA, it's getting to be an almost every day occurrence). That story about the two genders running off naked in opposite directions on the same road was eye-opening and accidents seem to get more spectacular too. Before long these stories will go mainstream (make the front page) because they're becoming undeniable. Keep up the great work, and thanks!

    1. Yeah, that WAS eye-opening - TWO naked people doing crazy shit at the same time. Ya gotta wonder where we go from there. Ten people, hundreds? Attempting to explain that away should be highly interesting, to say the least.
