Event Update For 2013-06-20

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-06-20 - Half-naked man frenziedly masturbates, barks like a dog, watches building burn, at 4:30 AM in Detroit (Michigan):
Quote: "As firefighters battled an enormous blaze at the historic University Club in Detroit this weekend, a wild-eyed man wearing only a black polo shirt emerged from the dark brush and began masturbating and barking like a dog. After frenziedly satisfying himself in front of firefighters and onlookers at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, the lurker crawled on his hands and knees, with his tongue out, and gazed at flames that tore through the three-story Collegiate Gothic building at 1411 E. Jefferson. By the time police arrived, the bearded stranger had disappeared in the brush."
Note: I know this is Detroit and all, but, um, that's pretty freaking crazy there. And they couldn't catch a man crawling around and barking like a dog?!

2013-06-20 - Massive explosion rips through fireworks factory in Montreal (Canada), 2 killed:

Quote: "And then, when you saw the mushroom cloud it was like, woah! It just freaked me out. It shook. I had friends tell me it shook their house, and they live miles away."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Ammo depots will be hit with explosions and fires, including the civilian versions like fireworks factories."

There was a huge explosion at an ammo depot in Russia two days prior too, as mentioned in the 2013-06-18 update. Another ammo depot exploded a day later, which injured six people, in coastal Latakia (Syria), as mentioned in the 2013-06-19 update...

2013-06-20 - Twenty-foot tall pile of tires bursts into flame at 4 AM in coastal Singapore, truck burns, workers flee:

2013-06-20 - Underground electrical fire takes out power to 5-block area in coastal Vallejo (California):

2013-06-20 - Underground electrical flash fire erupts in Houston (Texas), 5 workers injured:

Quote: " The Houston Fire Department says the damage underground is minimal, but the injuries to the five wounded CenterPoint workers are significant."

Quote: "Capt. Ruy Lozano of the Houston Fire Department said the blaze broke out about 10 a.m. in a basement electrical vault in the building at 1121 Capitol and San Jacinto."

Note: Same type of event as all the recent underground electrical fires and explosions. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas and will seek out low-lying areas like basements and underground facilities, and it is also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper...

2013-06-20 - Mysterious 'boom sound' shakes homes in coastal Nantucket Island (Massachusetts):

Quote: "While the suspected culprit is a military aircraft that broke the sound barrier over the island, there was no definitive confirmation of the specific source of the noise. Nantucket Memorial Airport tower manager Patrick Topham stated in a message 'we have no confirmation as to what caused it at this point. We have to assume that it was a sonic boom caused by a military aircraft.'"

Note: Methane hydrate deposits off the East Coast there are dissociating, so I wouldn't be so quick to assume anything here...

2013-06-20 - Brush fire erupts near Santa Maria (California), near the coast:

Note: Santa Maria is where flammable methane was found in the ground around 19 homes, as mentioned in the 2013-01-18 update...

2013-06-20 - Wildfire rages toward South Fork (Colorado), town evacuated, may be destroyed:

Quote: "A massive wildfire working overtime in hot, windy weather was headed toward a tourist town in Colorado’s southwestern mountains today, and fire managers rate the chances of saving it as slim if the fire continues its course."

Quote: "Water and slurry drops from air tankers also haven’t been effective, with pilots reporting that their drops largely evaporated before hitting the ground. 'There’s no stopping it,' Bertram said."

2013-06-20 - Blaze damages Riga Castle in Latvia:

Quote: "She added that 10 fire crews had helped tackle the blaze and that the army provided a helicopter to drop water from a nearby river."

2013-06-20 - Van bursts into flame in Live Oak Canyon near Redlands (California):

2013-06-20 - Van bursts into flame while parked on Moor Lane in Newbury (Britain):

Note: They found one of the tires on fire, so they're assuming arson. Umm, well, I dunno, could be, but there've been a lot of tire recycling facilities catching fire lately. Tires have been absorbing hydrogen sulfide and/or methane for a while, causing problems when brakes are applied, due to excessive heat. It could be getting bad enough that even tires mounted on vehicles (e.g. only exposed to the atmosphere on the outer surface) are now simply spontaneously combusting here and there. If that's the case then this problem is certain to get worse and the Driving Era is about to come to an end. I'm gonna hope this really was arson, but I have doubts about that, in no small part because they don't mention any evidence at all of people being involved here...

2013-06-20 - Minivan bursts into flame while parked at restaurant in coastal New Bern (North Carolina):

2013-06-20 - Three SUVs and a pickup destroyed by fire while parked at apartment complex in Houston (Texas):

2013-06-20 - SUV bursts into flame at 12:42 AM while parked in Sycamore Township (Ohio):

Quote: "Fire investigators believe that the flames may have been started by an accelerant."

Note: Yes, indeed, likely so. Both hydrogen sulfide and methane are highly flammable, which makes them accelerants. They suspect arsonists, of course, because an accelerant was involved, but with an atmosphere increasingly contaminated by accelerants, no PEOPLE are required at all for these fires. The same thing happened in Norwich (Vermont), where three police cars were incinerated, as mentioned in the 2012-11-22 update. Initially police assumed that was the work of arsonists too, because they detected an accelerant was involved. They retracted the arson assumption though, and I would guess that was because police stations do usually have surveillance cameras and they SAW those cars simply burst into flame, or more likely, one of them burst into flame and the fire spread to the other two. This is why I don't take their arson assumptions too seriously anymore - they probably don't know what's going on in many cases, so they're obviously jumping to conclusions...

2013-06-20 - Update on person incinerated in car in Carlisle (Pennsylvania): it was a man, 53, no foul play:

Note: I mentioned that incident in the 2013-06-19 update. So his car just exploded and burned spontaneously and burned him so bad they had to use dental records to identify him. That there was no foul play involved - e.g. no one did this to him - isn't remotely reassuring. That means that this can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time. Vehicles have become firebombs that are waiting to detonate. I'm sure your odds of getting through a day without being incinerated this way are still good, but they're steadily getting worse...
