Event Update For 2013-06-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Unusual Vehicular Accidents
Quote: "Fire crews said that they thought the truck driver may have had a seizure. 'The guy looked at me and then he fell back on the ground and he said ‘Can you get me some towels?’' Stewart said. 'They said the guy’s nose was bleeding and when the police came he started kicking off his shoes.'"
Note: Hydrogen sulfide poisoning can cause disorientation, seizures and bleeding from the nose, mouth, ears. It doesn't always do any of those things but it certainly can. There have been many instances of people having seizures, medical emergencies, medical incidents, medical events, etc, and crashing vehicles all over the place. The stories that get the most news are those where it happens to bus drivers, and there have been quite a number of bus drivers having similar problems and then crashing...

2013-06-19 - Massive inferno engulfs tire recycling facility at 5:30 AM in Hoopeston (Illinois), may burn for days:

2013-06-19 - Recycling facility erupts in flame in Carmarthen (Britain), near the River Towy:

Quote: "Firefighters tackled a blaze involving 'a large amount of tyres and electrical goods' at a Carmarthen recycling plant last night."

2013-06-19 - Explosion rocks military depot in the coastal city of Latakia (Syria), 6 injured:

Quote: "Syrian state television says an accidental explosion at a military depot outside the northwestern coastal city of Latakia has left six people lightly injured. It says a 'technical error' caused the Wednesday explosion at a military corps of engineers unit. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which relies on a number of activists on the ground, said at least 13 soldiers were injured."

Note: And an ammo depot was devastated by explosions and fire in Russia the day prior, as mentioned in the 2013-06-18 update...

2013-06-19 - Huge blaze rages on the island of Cyprus, evacuations ensue:

2013-06-19 - Fires in Sumatra create hazardous haze over coastal Singapore:

2013-06-19 - Landfill erupts in flame (again) in Rapid City (South Dakota):

2013-06-19 - Small explosion occurs behind restaurant in Portland (Oregon):

Quote: "Officers found evidence of a small explosion. No one was hurt and property damage was minor, police said. The Metropolitan Explosives Disposal Unit was called in to investigate. The cause of the explosion is unknown. Sgt. Pete Simpson said there does not appear to be any danger to the community."

Note: Well, I'd think explosions spontaneously occurring for no apparent reason just MIGHT pose a danger to the community, at least the don't-wanna-be-blown-up percentage of the community...

2013-06-19 - Explosion and fire hit car wash in Kalkaska (Michigan), 2 injured:

2013-06-19 - Restaurant burns and explodes in Shuozhou (China), 3 killed, 149 injured:

2013-06-19 - Mobile home explodes and burns in Presidio (Texas):

Quote: "According to Gonzalez, the mobile home in which Mr. Muñiz and his wife resided burned to the ground following the fire that Mr. Muñiz believes to have been ignited by an explosion caused by the home’s water heater."

Note: Indeed, water heaters are often going to be the ignition source for any accumulated hydrogen sulfide or methane, because they have a pilot light, and they're often located in basements. Also mentioned in this story was a semi that burst into flame and a warehouse that burned, which they are assuming was arson. They're not aware of the problem we face or they would not be so quick to make such assumptions...

2013-06-19 - Power pole bursts into flame in Clarkston (Virginia), thousands lose power:

2013-06-19 - Electrical fire takes 3 radio stations off the air in Kalispell (Montana):

Quote: "On Thursday morning, station manager Dave Rae said the fire started in an electric meter box in the building’s lower level."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper. This was also on the 'lower level' and hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas that will seek out low-lying areas. Was this a basement? I bet it was...

2013-06-19 - Mega-box ship 'Eugen Maersk' bursts into flame in the Gulf of Aden:

Note: It was actually some containers on the ship that burst into flame. I'm curious what was in those containers, but they didn't specify. Another huge container ship cracked in half and burst into flame the day prior, near Yemen, as mentioned in the 2013-06-18 update...

2013-06-19 - Boat bursts into flame in Poole Harbour (Britain):

2013-06-19 - Passenger bus bursts into flame on the Pacific Highway near Bellimbopinni (Australia):

2013-06-19 - Passenger bus bursts into flame while parked in lot in coastal Bremerton (Washington):

2013-06-19 - Bus, RV trailer and mobile home destroyed by fire in Ames (Iowa):

Quote: "Higgins said the man was asleep and was awakened by a popping sound."

Note: There's that popping sound again, heard before a great many fires this past year or so. That's likely hydrogen sulfide and/or methane finding an ignition source (electrified copper like battery cables, rusty iron/steel, heat) and igniting, causing a small explosion then fire. When the explosions are larger then they sound like gunfire or fireworks and may be mistaken for either. When they're REALLY large then they shake homes for miles around; those mysterious 'boom sounds' - often accompanied by a 'flash of light' - that have been occurring all around the world the last couple of years...

2013-06-19 - Car-hauler truck bursts into flame on bridge over the Tioga River in Tioga Township (Pennsylvania):

Quote: "The fire is out and cars were being removed from the car-carrier trailer so the inspection could take place."

Note: From the pics in the third link, looks like several cars on the trailer got burned up...

2013-06-19 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame on the M62 at Pontefract (Britain):

Quote: "An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway but firefighters believe it may have been caused by overheating brakes."

Note: From the full hypothesis: "Massive vehicles such as big RVs, buses, tanker trucks, tractor trailers, dump trucks, and car-haulers will be destroyed by fire in escalating numbers after tires or brakes ignite." This problem is caused by tire rubber and brake pads absorbing hydrogen sulfide, which burns very hot. When brakes are applied, the abnormal amount of heat causes problems: tires ignite or explode, brakes burn out or ignite, fluid lines rupture, the entire vehicle goes up in flames, or all of the above. Massive vehicles require the most brake-friction to slow and also tend to have more tires and bigger brake pads so the problem affects them more, though no vehicle is immune...

2013-06-19 - Tractor trailer bursts into flame on I-70 near Brookville (Ohio):

Quote: "Around 7 a.m., the driver of the semi pulled off to the side of the highway when the brakes started to smoke, according to reports. The driver attempted to put out a small fire in the brake chamber, but was unsuccessful, and the semi caught fire."

Note: And here's another semi destroyed because of a brake fire...

Quote: "The truck stopped at the 156 mile post in the northbound shoulder I-95 where the fire rapid spread to another vehicle and quickly engulfed the trailer."

Note: Sounds like it was probably a tractor trailer and the fire spread to another, but the story is vague and so is the picture...

One man said he was in a building a few blocks away and felt the structure shake. 'I thought I heard somebody screaming," said Jason Mahanas, who lives nearby.  "People living right over here said somebody was in the car.' What originally was a call for a transformer fire turned out to be a car on fire with a body in the driver's seat."
