Event Update For 2013-03-22

Full Hypothesis

Summary of Hypothesis

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2013-03-22 - Passenger plane makes emergency landing in Ottawa (Canada), smoke in the cockpit:
Quote: "Another passenger, Jamie Page, told the CBC the aircraft broke more forcefully than he had ever felt before, 'as though the pilot wanted to get the plane back to the ground quickly.'"
Note: This is the third such incident involving a passenger plane making an emergency landing because of smoke in the plane in the last 4 days...
Prediction A - More Fires and Explosions, Especially Coastal

2013-03-22 - Mysterious explosion rattles homes around Gainesville (Florida), near Newmans Lake:

Note: Probably more atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and/or methane exploding. People may be sleeping through these neighborhood-shaking explosions at the moment but that will all change once these explosions begin destroying entire towns or large portions of major cities...

2013-03-22 - Home explodes and burns in Penn Forest Township (Pennsylvania):

2013-03-22 - Manufacturing facility explodes in coastal Tarapur (India), 4 killed, 16 injured:

Quote: "The impact of the explosion was felt by residents in 10 km radius as asbestos sheets, glasses of nearby factories and homes were shattered."

Note: That's more than a 6-mile radius, so that was one huge explosion...

2013-03-22 - Apartment explodes in 9-story residential building in coastal St. Petersburg (Russia), 1 killed, 7 injured, 90 homeless:

2013-03-21 - Motorcycle bursts into flame while parked at apartment building in coastal Seattle (Washington):

Note: The motorcycle fire spread to a car and dumpster then to the apartment building itself. As mentioned a number of times, you don't want to park your vehicle(s) near your residence so that you don't lose everything when either one bursts into flame. Of course, in an apartment building, even if YOU don't park near the building, others likely will, since they probably aren't aware of what's going on...

2013-03-22 - Car and garage destroyed by fire at home in Penn Township (Pennsylvania):

2013-03-22 - Towering fire destroys building at auto wrecking yard in Madras (Oregon):

Quote: "The building that burned stored auto parts, NewsChannel 21 was told on scene."

Quote: "Keller Marine & RV owners say they’ll rebuild after a six-alarm fire destroyed the main warehouse and millions of dollars worth of inventory this morning."

2013-03-22 - Several cars and two homes damaged by blaze on Riverwalk Court in the Deer Creek neighborhood of Hebron (Ohio):

Note: The fire began in a garage at one home (probably in a vehicle) then spread to the home, then to an adjacent home, and a third home got a bit scorched too. And wow, people still park vehicles in attached garages? That seems kinda crazy, what with all the vehicles spontaneously combusting these days...

2013-03-22 - Wood bursts into flame in pickup truck bed near Arlington (Indiana):

2013-03-22 - Deck bursts into flame at home off River Road in Agawam (Massachusetts):

Note: Deck made of wood? I bet it was. Wood and other absorbent flammable materials (paper, cardboard, generic trash, clothing, hay, straw, mulch, etc.) are absorbing hydrogen sulfide and/or methane and spontaneously combusting. Also, from the map in the story, this place is ONE BLOCK from the Connecticut River, a low-lying area where a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide will tend to accumulate when the wind isn't blowing it on and from where any gas that has accumulated will blow when the wind picks up. So you probably don't want a big pile of wood attached to your residence, and especially not if you're a block from a big river like that. On the plus side, doesn't sound like this fire did anything but destroy the deck, so now they DON'T have a big pile of wood attached to their home. Of course, if their HOME is made of wood, or they park a vehicle next to it...

2013-03-22 - Deck bursts into flame at home in Middletown (New Jersey):

Note: If you look this place up with mapping software, you will see it's right next to Poncy Brook, so close they could throw a rock into the brook from their deck, if it hadn't just burned up...

Note: Lotsa clothes in such places, another flammable absorbent material. Nobody was there at the time, off-hours...

2013-03-22 - Pickup hauling trailer veers over centerline, trailer hit by semi, semi and trailer burst into flame, near Woodward (Oklahoma), 1 killed:

Note: Somewhat complicated accident. It started with the pickup pulling the trailer blowing a tire. As mentioned, tire rubber is absorbing hydrogen sulfide, which makes brake-friction burn hotter than normal and that results in tires exploding or igniting, among other things. Anyway, once the tire blew, the pickup driver lost control and veered into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer, which missed the pickup truck but hit the trailer it was towing, and then both the semi and the trailer burst into flame and the semi driver was killed...

Zombie Files

2013-03-22 - Female escort, 29, bites man's genitals, tries to claw his eyes out, growls and snarls, in Orlando (Florida):

Quote: "The man told deputies it appeared as if she was 'trying to eat his penis and testicles.'"

Note: She was definitely on drugs. Still, that's pretty radical behavior there, and very reminiscent of the original face-eater, who went from normal dude to growling cannibal incapable of speech in about 30 minutes. Also, taking drugs will in no way make you immune to the neurotoxic effects of hydrogen sulfide; they are not mutually exclusive...
