Event Update For 2013-03-15

Full Hypothesis

Summary of Hypothesis

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

Predictions

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Multiple Corpses

2013-03-15 - Two men, both 52, found dead in separate but adjacent homes on same street in Oklahoma City (Oklahoma):
http://newsok.com/names-of-two-neighbors-found-dead-in-southeast-oklahoma-city-released/article/3766210

Quote: "Neither residence showed signs of forced entry and there were no indications of foul play..."

Note: So they both dropped dead in their homes, which were right next to each other, at about the same time. What could they have in common? Ah yes, the atmosphere. If a plume of hydrogen sulfide swept through, it might just hit two adjacent homes like that and knock people dead in each home. Otherwise, what are we left with, coincidence? Yeah, well, I don't believe in THAT much coincidence, not these days...

Prediction A - More Fires and Explosions, Especially Coastal

Zombie Files

2013-03-15 - Naked man screams at people, foams at the mouth, on street in Willowick (Ohio):
http://www.newsnet5.com/dpp/news/local_news/oh_lake/nude-man-on-drugs-screams-at-drivers-foams-at-mouth-willowick-police-say

Note: His clothes were found nearby, so he stripped naked just like the original face-eater in Florida and other neuro-zombie incidents. There's obviously no way they tested his blood that fast for drugs, so they're assuming he was on drugs, just as they did with the original face-eater in Florida, yet he was found to have only traces of marijuana in his system, and marijuana doesn't make you strip naked, go crazy and foam at the mouth. Hydrogen sulfide, however, can do all of that to a person. This guy was also tasered and got up anyway, which could mean the taser malfunctioned, as they assume (they're full of assumptions in this story), but it might also indicate superhuman strength. A grad student went crazy and attacked a cop at a campus in San Bernardino (California), and he exhibited superhuman strength, as mentioned in the 2012-12-09 update. I see why they had anti-zombie training in California last fall, as mentioned in the 2012-09-16 update. Law enforcement is going to have to deal with this problem, so they do need to be trained for it...

Quote: "Sinkholes seem to be creating quite a stir in the news with bizarre incidents popping up — or should I say popping down — around the world. The recent tragic death of a man who vanished into a huge crevice in Florida is not the only mysterious sinkhole incident to have punctured the U.S. Just last week a golfer in Illinois suddenly plummeted 18 feet into the ground after a man-hole-sized crevice opened up on the course. On Tuesday in Washington, D.C., another sinkhole appeared, and a 17-foot-deep sinkhole was discovered on Wednesday morning in Holyoke, Massachusetts. There was also a nine-acre sinkhole in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, that garnered the attention of environmental activist Erin Brockovich."

Quote: "Few things are as absurd as dumping almost 9,000 tons of waste containing radionuclides into an unlined landfill in a floodplain, all in a major metropolitan area..."

Note: This landfill has been burning for weeks, stinking up Bridgeton with foul smells. And buried at a landfill right next door to the one that's burning are thousands of tons of dumped radioactive waste from the Manhattan Project...

  1. Because this is such a perfect JJFH profile fitting example I just emailed the OK City Coroner's office about it & told them to check for Methane & H2S poisoning. Whether they will or not who knows but I had to try. I hope I don't become a suspect!

2013-03-15 - Two men, both 52, found dead in separate but adjacent homes on same street in Oklahoma City (Oklahoma):

Quote: "Neither residence showed signs of forced entry and there were no indications of foul play..."

Note: So they both dropped dead in their homes, which were right next to each other, at about the same time. What could they have in common? Ah yes, the atmosphere. If a plume of hydrogen sulfide swept through, it might just hit two adjacent homes like that and knock people dead in each home. Otherwise, what are we left with, coincidence? Yeah, well, I don't believe in THAT much coincidence, not these days..."

    1. Might be too late to detect it. From some of the medical documents I've read, after 6 or 8 hours (from exposure), all that's left in the body are harmless sulfates (which could have other innocuous causes). But there was that guy who died of hydrogen sulfide at his job, and they DID detect that. I'm not sure if that's because they did his autopsy quickly enough, or because they knew to LOOK for hydrogen sulfide poisoning and it CAN be detected after 6 or 8 hours with some kind of more specialized tests. If it was the latter, then maybe you just gave them enough info to figure it out!

    2. What about traces of Methane or H2S that may have been absorbed into anything within their homes & into the actual houses themselves?

    4. As for traces of H2S and methane inside other stuff than human bodies - I dunno there. Could be atmospheric ozone, copper, rusted iron/steel will react that away fairly quickly too, but if they know to look for it, seems like there'd be SOME evidence. Problem may simply be that NOBODY is gonna be looking for it. Why would they? It's NORMALLY only a problem for septic workers, petroleum workers, and occasionally near landfills. Just killing people in cities? Nobody is expecting that.

    5. There's a way to test for hydrogen sulfide without buying an expensive detector (which are REALLY expensive when you realize they have to be 'recharged' for an exorbitant fee): lead acetate tapes.

      Here's one seller:

      http://www.pikeagri.com/component/virtuemart/compost-analysis/sulfide-testing/refills-lead-acetate-strips-100-detail

Those are one-offs, open a strip, use it, toss it. They won't be very accurate or anything, but they should react (change color) if they come into contact with hydrogen sulfide above 3 ppm or so. That might even work with absorbent materials if you lay a strip on a piece of wood or whatever, but not sure on that. I know your standard detector WON'T do that, just measures gas. You tell the concentration of hydrogen sulfide, in a very general way, by the speed with which the strip changes color.

You can make lead acetate yourself too, though it sounds potentially dangerous, and lead acetate is itself toxic. Here's a Wiki link on lead acetate:

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead%28II%29_acetate

Just some info, in case anyone wants to try the lead acetate detection method. I'd be much interested in hearing about any positive results if anyone tries it.

  2. interesting bit from Wikipedia:

"A diagnostic clue of extreme poisoning by H2S is the discoloration of copper coins in the pockets of the victim."

BTW, considering the info that has surfaced since then maybe the CDC wasn't kidding when they released:

    "Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse"

    back in 2011

Also, you mentioned that you had at least a 2 story house. Are you living on the 2nd floor where you are safer from any gases?

    1. Yes, I knew about the copper coin thing, but thanks for mentioning it, because I don't think I ever have. But how many copper coins are even left out there? Not many!

Yes, I'm on the second floor 95% of the time, and I sealed up all the second floor windows with Reflectix and duct tape, to try to create a pocket of clean air there. Old house though (1915?), so it's not ever gonna be all that airtight. Ya does what you can. Overabundance of caution? Well, I'd rather err on the side of staying alive if I'm gonna err.

I think that Zombie Apocalypse thing may very well have been seriousness disguised as a joke.
