Event Update For 2012-03-11

Summary of Hypothesis:
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming hydrogen sulfide and methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

Comments:
I've noticed what appears to be a spike in shark attacks on humans, and also at least two incidents of piranha attacks in South America recently. These are high-end predators, more or less the top of the food chain in their respective niches. Predators are adaptive and if their normal food source disappears they adjust and look for a different source. We are plentiful, we humans, and it appears we're increasingly on the menu as other food sources dry up (e.g. die off). This is a sign of the biosphere convulsing and collapsing. Other signs: wild boar attacks, wolf attacks on villages in Russia, cougars hunting not in pairs but in groups. The increase in bee attacks is probably related: hydrogen sulfide makes people feel anxious in low concentrations, so maybe the bees are feeling that same effect and lashing out. This is some stuff I'll be paying more attention to as we move deeper into this extinction event. Whatever I find going forward, I'll just file under 'Other Stories of Interest'.

Going back to this story from a day ago:

2012-03-10 - Fishing trawler sinks off the Washington state coast, 4 missing, lifeboat empty:
http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/site/?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=VI-20120311-34470-USA

Rescuers found a debris field where the boat should have been. That means the ship (70-footer, not small) broke up for some reason: hit by something, or it hit something, or...it exploded after hitting a gas pocket. I'm gonna guess the latter, but we will likely never know. Given the boat with 4 dead in today's update, also off the west coast, this appears to be a trend. Time will tell.

Predictions:

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species, including sea mammals.
C. More and more MULTIPLES of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.
