Event Update For 2020-02-20

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2020-02-20 - Unknown rotten egg odor hits American Idol auditions, Katy Perry collapses, in Hollywood (California):

Quote: "In an exclusive clip of Sunday’s episode, judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie are forced to pause auditions due to a gas leak that could be potentially be dangerous. 'Do you guys smell gas? It’s pretty intense,' Perry, 35, says in the clip. 'We’re getting heavy propane,' Bryan, 43, says to the Idol producers."

Quote: "There is a scramble to evacuate and once outside, Perry appears to be overcome. 'I'm not feeling good,' the singer says as she falls to the ground."

Note: I didn't see in any of the stories any confirmation that there was actually a gas leak, just some guy on the set saying it smelled like propane and then everyone ran with the 'gas leak' theory. Propane is odorless, so nobody ever smells propane. What they smell is an odorant that's added to propane to make it smell like rotten eggs. So they smelled a strong rotten egg odor, near the coast, and Katy Perry collapsed - that's all we can know for sure. Hydrogen sulfide smells like rotten eggs at lower concentrations, and hydrogen sulfide is a 'knockdown agent' which can cause unconsciousness or death...

Update (2020ET): Earlier today, when describing the ludicrous lengths to which China has gone to mask the severity of the Coronavirus pandemic, after five definition changes of what a Coronavirus infection means, and which saw another major jump in the last two days' cases after Hubei admitted it hadn't tracked the recently unveiled prison cases, we said that there was a certain irony to China's data massaging, namely that the more China manipulates the data, the less anyone will believe a positive outcome for the epidemic as a result of lower cases and will instead claim that this is just the result of Chinese propaganda: "It points to a rather concerning confusion over how best to officially report the number of cases, leading to a loss of confidence in the true numbers,” Oanda analyst Jeffrey Halley told Bloomberg. "That could mean that internationally, the rest of the world keeps China in lockdown for longer, which will not be good for the ‘V-shaped recovery’ projections." [more from Zero Hedge]
