Event Update For 2019-07-25

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Residents in Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and North Shields said there was a strong smell of gas in the area on Thursday morning and many reported it to the authorities. One mum, of Monkseaton, said: 'There was just a really strong smell of gas. We were worried there may be a leak in the area and we called the emergency gas line. They said lots of other people had called in too, from other parts of North Tyneside and even South Shields. It's just really strange. I've no idea what it could be or how people much further away from me have also smelled it.' At this stage, it is unclear where the odour was coming from. Northern Gas Networks has confirmed it was not related to their network."

  1. Good morning, Jonny and all readers of JJFH today!

Looks like your prediction of gas waves knocking areas out with sickening and dying people is coming on strong. So far, it's been mostly underground substation fires, people sickening on the coasts and rashes of vehicle and building fires, not to mention all the boats going up in flames. Of course, many of the "medical episodes" and planes having trouble staying aloft (and upon landing) are related.

Once “Prosperity” Falters, the Legitimacy of the Status Quo Evaporates
    https://washingtonsblog.com/2019/07/once-prosperity-falters-the-legitimacy-of-the-status-quo-evaporates.html

The citizenry of corrupt regimes ruled by self-serving elites tolerate this oppressive misrule for one reason and only one reason: increasing prosperity, which we can define as continual improvement in material well-being and financial security.

The legitimacy of every corrupt regime ruled by self-serving elites hangs on this single thread: once prosperity fades, the legitimacy of the regime evaporates, as the citizenry have no reason to tolerate their rapacious, predatory overlords.

A broken, unfair system will be tolerated as long as every participant feels they’re getting a few shreds of improvement. This is why there is such an enormous push of propaganda touting “growth”; if the citizenry can be conned into believing that their deteriorating well-being and security are actually “prosperity,” then they will continue to grant the status quo some measure of credibility and legitimacy.

When the gap between the propaganda and reality widens to the breaking point, the regime loses its credibility and legitimacy. [more]

A study published in the international journal Marine Biology, reveals what’s really killing coral reefs. With 30 years of unique data from Looe Key Reef in the lower Florida Keys, researchers from Florida Atlantic University’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute and collaborators have discovered that the problem of coral bleaching is not just due to a warming planet, but also a planet that is simultaneously being enriched with reactive nitrogen from multiple sources.

Improperly treated sewage, fertilizers and top soil are elevating nitrogen levels, which are causing phosphorus starvation in the corals, reducing their temperature threshold for “bleaching.” These coral reefs were dying off long before they were impacted by rising water temperatures. This study represents the longest record of reactive nutrients and algae concentrations for coral reefs anywhere in the world. [more]

Two South Koreans have died and several others, including athletes attending the world aquatic championships, have been injured after a structure collapsed in a nightclub in the city of Gwangju early on Saturday, a fire department official has said.

The deaths happened when a two-level structure in the club, which is next to the athletes' village, collapsed at about 2am local time, hitting and pinning revellers, the official said.

Hundreds were inside the seven-storey nightclub at the time. The BBC reported the two people killed were aged 38 and 27, and were not competitors at the championships. [more]

    https://www.sott.net/article/417467-Terminator-events-on-the-Sun-trigger-plasma-tsunamis-and-new-solar-cycles-Expect-them-next-year

In a pair of new papers, scientists paint a picture of how solar cycles suddenly die, potentially causing tsunamis of plasma to race through the Sun's interior and trigger the birth of the next sunspot cycle only a few short weeks later.

In one of the studies, which relies on nearly 140 years of solar observations from the ground and space, the scientists are able to identify "terminator" events that clearly mark the end of a sunspot cycle. With an understanding of what to look for in the run up to these terminators, the authors predict that the current solar cycle (Solar Cycle 24) will end in the first half of 2020, kicking off the growth of Solar Cycle 25 very shortly after. Parts of Lincolnshire experienced a ten degree temperature rise in under one hour last night due to a rare atmospheric phenomenon.

The Met Office has said that the so-called 'heat burst' was caused by a thunderstorm collapsing and bringing hot air down to ground level.

This caused the temperature recorded by the Met Office at Donna Nook to increase a staggering 10 degrees in just 38 minutes, jumping from 22C at 8.22pm to 32C just before 9pm.

  5. Brain-eating amoeba kills man after North Carolina water park visit
    https://www.sott.net/article/417461-Brain-eating-amoeba-kills-man-after-North-Carolina-water-park-visit

A North Carolina man has died from a rare brain-eating amoeba after swimming in a manmade lake at a water park, officials said Wednesday. The state Department of Health and Human Resources said in a news release that the infection was caused by the amoeba naturally present in warm freshwater during the summer.

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed it was caused by Naegleria fowleri, a single-celled organism known as the brain-eating amoeba.

People are usually infected when contaminated water enters the body through the nose, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Symptoms generally start about five days after infection, with death occurring about five days later, according to the CDC.

The amoeba can cause severe illness up to nine days after exposure.

Health officials say the amoeba is known to have infected just 145 people in the U.S. from 1962 through 2018. Five of those cases occurred in North Carolina. [more]

Major Arctic Sea Ice Losses and Greenland Ice Sheet Melt Near Certain Next 7 Days
    http://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2019/07/major-ice-losses-are-almost-certain.html

Accelerated melting of both the Arctic sea ice and Greenland Ice Sheet is near-certain the next several days as a very powerful high pressure system sets up over the Arctic Ocean.

Abrupt climate change is leading to the ongoing destruction of the sea ice and Greenland Ice sheet. The loss of sea ice is accelerating Arctic warming causing major jet stream disturbances (including intense heatwaves and wildfires in the mid-latitudes and Arctic), increased wave action and coastal erosion from cyclones, and rapidly melting permafrost which is releasing carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. The heatwaves over Greenland are and will accelerate sea level rise. [more]
