Event Update For 2017-05-07

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Thousands Flee Chicago For Safer Areas Of The Country As America’s Third Largest City Becomes A Gang-Infested Wasteland

Did you know that the number of murders increased by almost 60 percent in the city of Chicago last year?  And as you will see below, this year gang violence in the Windy City has risen to a new level of viciousness.  A staggering 9.5 million people live in the Chicago metropolitan area, and it was once known primarily for great pizza, bitter cold and some of the best sports fans on the entire planet.  But now the number one thing that comes to mind for many when they think about the city of Chicago is gang violence.  As it becomes clear that things are not going to turn around any time soon, thousands of residents are leaving the city for safer areas of the nation.  In fact, Cook County lost more people than any other county in America last year by a very wide margin. 3. Chicago still hasn't equaled St. Louis for murders per 100,000 people. We can out-murder anyone. Come for the beer and the baseball, stay for your murder! Only Detroit sometimes does 'better', even sometimes taking the 'top' spot for per capita murders. Maybe Chicago will take 'first place' this year though. I'd feel slightly better if I was just in the second- or third-most murdery city. I guess.

  4. Really? Geez, ya make it sound worse than New Orleans or somethin'.

  5. Yeah, food production is looking iffier all the time. Not that I love asparagus or anything, but that's 2 million meals gone, and that's just one food-destruction incident out of many. We reached a population of 7 billion with a stable climate. No way are we going to be able to maintain that population as the climate continues to destabilize. That's just reality and the cold hard math of calories, so enjoy life as it is today, because things are as good on this planet as they're ever going to be.
