Event Update For 2017-05-01

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions

2017-05-01 - Person found dead in burned SUV near Hawkins Road near Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area (New Jersey), 15 miles from the coast:

Quote: "When emergency personnel responded to the scene of a fire near the Mills Wildlife Management Area, their attention turned from the cause of the fire to the discovery of a dead person in the front seat of a burned car."

Quote: "Sramaty said foul play is not suspected, but the investigation is continuing."

2017-05-01 - Person found dead in burning car along Clinton Road near Clinton Reservoir (New Jersey):

Quote: "The fatal accident was discovered Sunday at roughly 10 p.m. on a remote, yet relatively straight section of Clinton Road just beyond the new bridge at the northern end of the Clinton Reservoir, police said. The vehicle was headed southbound and ended up approximately 50 feet into the woods, where it was found on fire, police said. There are char marks in the roadway and a memorial marking the site. West Milford Fire Companies No. 1, 2 and 4 all responded to the scene to extinguish the blaze. The road, which cuts through preserved Newark-owned watershed, is a local tourist attraction."

Note: They found the car burning off the road, but they found char marks ON the road, so this car was on fire BEFORE it went off the road. The person found burned to death on the other car fire - that car had only heat and fire damage, no crash damage, so it probably caught fire and then ran off the road too. As more and more cars go up in flames, this will be increasingly common: finding a person burned to death in a burning car on or off the road. That's already way more common than it used to be, but this problem - people burning to death in their vehicles - will get waaaaaay worse. Here's a Google Maps link that shows the locations of both charred corpses...

Note: URL says 'woman dead after crash', but it may actually have been 'woman dead BEFORE crash', since people are randomly slumping over dead, including while driving, and having a corpse at the wheel often causes a crash...

2017-05-01 - Driver has 'medical emergency', pickup truck slams into fire station, in West Ashley (South Carolina), 1 mile from the coast, 1 injured:

Quote: "Carroll says it's not clear what caused Chipman to cross the line, and police likely won't know anything more until a routine toxicology report is returned. He says it's possible it was a medical issue."

Note: The man who caused the crash may have died while driving. That'll be happening more and more as time goes on - people slumping over dead as they drive - and corpses don't tend to make the safest of drivers. Driverless cars will solve some of these problems. People will still continue to slump over dead in driverless vehicles, of course, but that won't necessarily cause the vehicle to crash...

  2. U.S. Auto Sales Plunge Dramatically As The Consumer Debt Bubble Continues To Collapse

One sector of the economy that is acting as if we were already in the middle of a horrible recession is the auto industry.  We just got sales figures for the month of April, and every single major U.S. auto manufacturer missed their sales projections.  And compared to one year ago, sales were way down across the entire industry.  When you add this latest news to all of the other signals that the U.S. economy is slowly down substantially, a very disturbing picture begins to emerge.  Either the U.S. economy is steamrolling toward a major slowdown, or this is one heck of a head fake.

  4. April showers bring May showers! Hey, wait, that doesn't sound right. But yeah, more rain, and there are ALREADY tons of people flooded out of their homes. The rule of thumb around here is to wait til after Mothers' Day to plant. Looks like I shoulda waited. Hey, at least i'm not losing thousands of acres of plants!

Protect yourself from infected ticks carrying life-threatening Powassan virus
Be watchful of ticks this year, as more are predicted to carry viruses.
Scientists have already said an unusually large abundance of acorns in the northeast two years ago fueled a population boom of white-footed mice last year. Dozens of ticks can attach to a single rodent, feed on its blood and acquire the bacteria that causes Lyme disease.
Now, many are concerned about Powassan virus (POW), associated with fever, vomiting, seizures and memory loss. About half of survivors have permanent neurological symptoms and 10% of all cases are fatal, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Symptoms usually show up one week or a month after the tick bite. No vaccines or medications are available to treat or prevent the virus infection, the CDC reports.

The best way to protect yourself from Powassan is to avoid contact with ticks [NO SHIT!!] by applying DEET repellents [toxic shit] and staying away from wooded areas [if you Google map my house, I have woods all around me AND a herd of deer live in them which regularly cross my front and back of the house]

Is it true that the DEET used in most mosquito repellents is toxic?

DEET is commonly known as the king of mosquito repellents, though not everyone is keen to slather it on their skin. A study conducted in the late 1980s on Everglades National Park employees to determine the effects of DEET found that a full one-quarter of the subjects studied experienced negative health effects that they blamed on exposure to the chemical. Effects included rashes, skin irritation, numb or burning lips, nausea, headaches, dizziness and difficulty concentrating.

But a number of new concentrations of botanical repellents that have hit the market since are reportedly better than ever. In 2005, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) granted approval to two healthier alternatives to DEET—picaridin and oil of lemon eucalyptus—for protection from mosquitoes. Picaridin, long used to repel mosquitoes in other parts of the world, is now available in the U.S. under the Cutter Advanced brand name. Oil of lemon eucalyptus, which is derived from eucalyptus leaves and is the only plant-based active ingredient for insect repellents approved by the CDC, is available in several different forms, including Repel Lemon Eucalyptus, OFF! Botanicals, and Fight Bite Plant-Based Insect Repellent.
Some other good choices, according to the nonprofit National Coalition against the Misuse of Pesticides, include products containing geraniol (MosquitoGuard or Bite Stop), citronella (Natrapel), herbal extracts (Beat It Bug Buster) or essential oils (All Terrain). The group also gives high marks to oil of lemon eucalyptus, such as that found in Repel’s Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent.
Another leading nonprofit, Pesticide Action Network North America (PANNA), likes Herbal Armor, Buzz Away and Green Ban, each containing citronella and peppermint as well as various essential oils (cedar wood, lemongrass, etc.). PANNA also lauds Bite Blocker, a blend of soybeans and coconut oils that provides four to eight hours of protection and, unlike many other brands, is safe to use on kids. [more]
