Event Update For 2014-12-13

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions

2014-12-13 - Man killed when truck explodes and burns on street in Kelowna (Canada):

Quote: "A man’s body was discovered inside a truck that ignited with explosive force on a Kelowna street Saturday night. The sound and percussive blast from an explosion rattled residents who ran outside to see the truck blazing on Casorso Road in the Lower Mission. Neighbours said it didn’t appear the truck had crashed into anything, and they were struck by the intensity of the fire, which occurred just after 7 p.m."

Quote: "On Sunday afternoon, Kelowna RCMP said police had identified the man whose body was found in the truck. Police do not suspect foul play, Sgt. Greg Dickie said, declining further comment."

Note: You just can't count on your vehicle not exploding and burning you to death nowadays...

The Appleton Fire Department was called in to assist. Twelve vehicles and two trailers were damaged, Martin said. No one was injured, and the building on the property was not affected."

Note: Happened in October, but I missed it, so here it is now. Not the first young person to collapse, foam at the mouth and die. There will be many more. They call this 'natural causes'. Um, yeah, okay, well, if you get poisoned badly enough by hydrogen sulfide, then naturally you're gonna die, so I guess that could be called 'natural causes', if you stretch the meaning of the phrase far enough...

  1. Typical start to a PA morning:

TV station: 5 dead in shootings near Philadelphia

SOUDERTON, Pa. (AP) — Police on Monday surrounded a home outside Philadelphia where they believe a suspect had barricaded himself after shootings at multiple homes.

The man was suspected of killing five people Monday morning at three different homes, police told WPVI-TV ( ).

They say the man was suspected of killing a woman in Harleysville, where two bullet holes could be seen next to a second-floor window; two people in Lansdale; and two people in Souderton.

The communities are about four miles from each other in Philadelphia's northwestern suburbs.

Officials are referring questions to the Montgomery County district attorney's office, which did not immediately return messages left by The Associated Press.

Police said they believed the suspect was holed up at the Souderton shooting scene. SWAT teams with armored vehicles and rifles focused on a home on a block of brick-faced houses. [of course I read that as "shit-faced"]

Towamencin Police Chief Tim Dickinson said officers saw movement in the home but were unsure if it was the suspect. [there's a little more]

    meanwhile, in other locales:

A teenager was killed in a shark attack at a reef off Australia's northeast coast on Monday, with ambulance officials saying he was dead by the time he reached shore.

The 17-year-old was bitten on the upper thigh at Rudder Reef off Port Douglas, about 60 kilometres (37 miles) north of Cairns, and likely died of blood loss.

    1. Yikes, bad way to start the week! Thanks for the Monday update!

Rat infestation worsens at One World Trade Center offices

The rodents have pestered the staffs of Vanity Fair and Vogue. Conde told employees that they cannot eat at their desks and that a complaint will be made with the city's health department.

Conde Nast's rat problem is getting worse rather than better.

While Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter tells Confidenti@l that rats stubbornly continue to occupy the new Conde Nast offices at One World Trade Center, we're also told that Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour doesn't even want to go in the building anymore.

And while there were multiple previous reports that the pests were terrorizing the glamorous staff at Vogue, we're now told they've "taken over" more of the storied publishing house.

A bunch ate through the ceiling of a sports editor's office and crawled all over his desk and left poops on his keyboard," said a different source. "They ate through his rug to fit under his door."

We're told that Conde has sent a memo to their staff in the building telling them that "they cannot eat at their desks" and that a complaint to the city's health department is next on the agenda.

When we bumped into Carter outside the tower, where the publishing house set up shop in November, we asked him if the little beasts are disgusting as we've heard. "They're rats!" laughed the legendary editor, "What do you think?"

The Durst Organization, which manages One World Trade Center for the Port Authority, declined to comment.

Reps for Conde Nast did not respond to requests for comment.
