Event Update For 2014-11-22

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-11-22 - Man, 26, strips naked, goes on rampage, bites old man, at Logan Airport in coastal Boston (Massachusetts):

Quote: "A 26-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly stripping naked, falling through a ceiling into a women's bathroom and assaulting an 84-year-old man in a bizarre rampage at a Boston airport. Cameron Shenk reportedly stripped inside one of the stalls in the bathroom at Logan International Airport on Saturday, before leaving his clothes on the floor and climbing into a dropped ceiling. He then crashed through the ceiling, suffering cuts to his head and body, and attacked an elderly man while he was still naked and bleeding, leaving the pensioner with serious injuries..."

Quote: "The man, later identified as Shenk, then fled the bathroom and assaulted an 84-year-old man he encountered, biting the man's ear and attempting to choke him with his own cane..."

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is neurotoxic and damages brains. It can also heat you up, so a lot of people are getting naked as they go insane. This is most likely to hit you similarly when you're near low-lying areas like coasts, as with this case and a large percentage of the many other similar events that have been occurring as the atmospheric contamination problem has intensified over the past few years. You are much more likely, by far, to simply keel over dead than you are to be turned into a naked, biting neuro-zombie though. It must take just the right dosage over just the right amount of time to turn someone into a neuro-zombie instead of a corpse. And people who are affected like this don't tend to live very long anyway, since it's not JUST their brains that sustain damage, but also kidneys, liver and other organs. And another factor could be HOW you're poisoned: via respiration (breathing the gas), via ingestion (most likely from contaminated water), or via skin contact with contaminated matter or water.

It's ironic that people are so stricken with 'Zombie Mania' and yet at the same time they are, by and large, sleeping through an ACTUAL 'Zombie Apocalypse', of a sort, one that can affect them at any time. I'm sure that will change as more people zombify and/or drop dead and more stuff explodes and burns. But who knows - people are generally not too terribly observant.

Lists of neuro-zombie incidents are maintained on the forum, here, updated monthly, more or less. You don't need to create an account to read but because of commercial spammers you do need to have an account to post, else every other post, or more, would be someone trying to enlarge your penis or sell you a fake Louis Vuitton handbag.

  1. Thanks Jonny, for another wide-ranging report.

Your lede stories say it all - the vast methane seep we're experiencing now is likely to wreak havoc on civilization as the concentration continues to grow. The realization that we live in a self-perpetuated gas chamber will surely freak people out (eventually).

Most of the activity at Fogo for the past 500 years has occurred within the main caldera of the volcano and the eruption in 1995 was centered on the flanks of Pico. The eruptions are dominantly lava flows, although unlike shield volcanoes like Kilauea, Fogo erupts both low-silica basanite (similar to basalt but higher in alkaline elements like sodium and potassium) and high-silica phonolite (similar to rhyolite but higher alkalines). That eruption in 1995 created a lava flow field that spread over 6 square kilometers of the caldera floor. You can watch footage of the activity from the 1995 eruption – lots of strombolian explosions and lava fountains to go with the lava flows. [more]

Night attacks by pack of hyenas results in 2 dead and 13 injured, Sudan

Hyenas attacked 4 villages in Rumbek Central County on Thursday night, killing two people and leading to a further 13 people being admitted to Rumbek Hospital in a serious condition, suffering from bite wounds.

    1. Wow, that's very extremely abnormal, hyenas attacking large groups of people like that. They've gotta be starving or insane or both to do that.

150 kg wild boar attacks sanitation workers and rams into police car in China

A 150kg wild boar (>300 lb!) attacked four sanitation workers in a row while they were crossing a traffic junction in Hefei city of Anhui province yesterday afternoon.

Among the four workers, two were wounded and had been taken to hospital for treatment, 21CN reported.

Soon after its arrival, the wild animal began ramming into the police car. It subsequently fled away to a factory and got stuck in a wire fence. After an hour of "hide and seek", the police eventually shot the boar to death.

15 dog attacks reported in Ohio over the past year, 4 involving fatalities

This past year (December 2013 to November 2014), various media have reported 15 dog attacks throughout Ohio.

There were likely many more dog bite incidents, but the ones listed below received the publicity.

Four people, two of which were infants and two women in their late fifties, died from the injuries they received from the dog attacks.

Of the 25 dogs identified by breed in the attacks, 9 were believed to be Pit Bulls and five were Rottweilers.

Floods in Morocco kill 17 with dozens missing after heavy rain destroys houses, cars and roads

At least 17 people have been killed and dozens more are missing after severe flooding in Morocco.

Heavy rain on Saturday and Sunday destroyed houses, vehicles and roads, with dramatic pictures showing cars swept off highways and people stranded amid torrents of fast-flowing water.

The army has sent helicopters to evacuate dozens of people, and the country's King Mohamed has ordered authorities to take "all necessary emergency measures to help and support victims of the floods". [compared to here where the cops declare 'open season' on citizens]

More aggressive wild turkey attacks reported in Brookline, Massachusetts

The animals have reportedly attacked a group of students, a crossing guard, and residents across town in recent weeks.

Thanksgiving? Not according to wild turkeys roaming Brookline.

    1. Yikes, never heard of repeated turkey attacks like that. Sounds kinda funny, but I bet it's much scarier than it sounds - they're biggish! Plus, I'm leery of big birds since I was little and an ostrich tried to bite an ear off me at a kids' animal farm during a field trip. Heh.
