Event Update For 2014-03-01

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2014-03-01 - Smoke in the cabin sends passenger plane back to coastal Miami (Florida):

2014-03-01 - Boat explodes into flame as man transfers fuel inside shed at marina in coastal Vancouver (Canada), 1 injured:
http://www.nsnews.com/news/boat-catches-fire-at-marina-1.872674

Quote: "At this point, it appears he was transferring fuel out of a tank and we figure there was an ignition that created a small explosion and ignited the fuel he was transferring..."

Note: Sounds like the work of the Ghostly Match. This man is lucky to be alive. A man was critically injured by an explosion and fire as he gassed up at 6:23 AM at a gas station in Danbury (Connecticut), as mentioned in the 2013-12-20 update. (He later died). A mother and her young son were incinerated at a gas station in Meho (India), as mentioned in the 2013-12-18 update. A car burst into flame as a driver gassed up at a gas station in Morristown (Tennessee), as mentioned in the 2014-02-03 update. A car burst into flame as the driver gassed up at a gas station in Srinigar (India), also mentioned in the 2014-02-03 update. And so on. Many boats have burst into flame and/or exploded while refueling too, especially in the past year. You won't see this problem coming until the fire and/or explosion erupts and then it's too late...

2014-03-01 - School bus bursts into flame while parked at bus garage on Reservoir Road in Albion (Pennsylvania):

2014-03-01 - Car bursts into flame while parked inside garage, fire spreads to garage, at home in coastal North Haven (Connecticut):
http://northhaven.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/car-catches-fire-in-garage-on-stanton-road
http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Garage-Catches-Fire-in-North-Haven-248021501.html
http://www.onenewspage.us/n/US/750cmxz1a/Car-Catches-Fire-in-Garage-on-Stanton-Road.htm

Quote: "Firefighters responded to Stanton Road in North Haven early this morning after a car caught fire and spread to the garage."

Note: This is just a sampling of vehicular fires. Planes, boats, buses, trucks, vans, cars, they're all burning pretty good now. Trains too, but not on this day. Vehicles have lots of vulnerabilities to the atmospheric hydrogen sulfide and methane problem. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with rusty iron/steel, which all vehicles have unless fresh off the assembly line. It's also reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, which means battery cables and other vehicle wiring. (This is the likely cause of most of the non-running vehicles that are spontaneously igniting all over the planet.) Many vehicles also use flammable fuels which can generate flammable vapors and then if there's hydrogen sulfide present ALSO then the Ghostly Match can cause ignition. Vehicles also generate heat in the engine compartment and the exhaust, and heat alone can ignite flammable gas plumes. Finally, most vehicles (boats being the exception) use heat-generating friction for braking AND they use semi-absorbent flammable rubber tires (except trains which still use friction for braking), and as hydrogen sulfide and/or methane absorbs into the tires and brake pads, the use of brakes is igniting vehicles. So, vehicles are now randomly-igniting firebombs that can go off at any time, which means it is increasingly dangerous to park vehicles near anything you don't want to see burning up, like other vehicles and buildings...

2014-03-01 - Recycling facility erupts in flame in Colnbrook (Britain):

http://green2morrow.blogspot.com/2014/03/fire-breaks-out-at-recycling-plant-in.html

Note: Yep, I can definitely understand why insurers are bailing on recycling facilities. They're burning up at a pretty heavy rate now, but that problem will get way worse...

2014-03-01 - Power pole explodes and burns in El Centro (California):

Quote: "An electrical pole was on fire in the backyard of a home in the 1600 block of Desert Gardens Drive on Thursday evening, according to El Centro police call logs. Several residents reported hearing a loud shot or explosion shortly before the fire..."

2014-03-01 - Basement electrical panel bursts into flame in the wee hours at 5-star hotel in Udaipur (India):
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jaipur/Fire-breaks-out-at-5-star-hotel-in-Udaipur/articleshow/31251306.cms

Quote: "The fire first engulfed the underground portion of the hotel, but went unnoticed since most of the staff were working upstairs. As the fire spread to the upper floors, the fire alarm started ringing and the hotel personnel got on their toes. They knocked on the doors requesting guests to evacuate their rooms. There were over 400 guests staying in 108 rooms of the hotel. Panic prevailed as people rushed out of their rooms clutching the hands of their kids and gathering their valuables."

Note: Udaipur is known as the 'City of Lakes'. This fire was essentially the same as all the underground electrical explosions and fires. Any building with electrified copper in a basement area is vulnerable to this problem...

2014-03-01 - Underground fire erupts in pit near water source, near Dhanbad (India):
http://www.telegraphindia.com/1140302/jsp/jharkhand/story_18036377.jsp
http://nolet.com/article/underground-fire-near-water-source

Quote: "An underground fire broke out in a small pit, which was dug by civic officials five years ago to extract water..."

Note: Sounds like maybe the water itself is what was burning. Both hydrogen sulfide and methane are water soluble, so if water absorbs enough of either or both then the water itself may become flammable, as with the rising number of people reporting flammable tapwater around the United States in the last couple of years or so. The oceans themselves may eventually ignite, like off the US East Coast where that large 2.5-gigaton methane clathrate deposit is melting away...

2014-03-01 - Eight cars and a van go up in flames shortly after midnight in Worcester (Britain):
http://www.itv.com/news/central/update/2014-03-01/arsonists-set-eight-cars-and-a-van-ablaze-overnight/
http://www.westmercia.police.uk/news/news-articles/police-investigate-car-fires-in-worcester.html

Quote: "Police patrols in the area have now been stepped up, and forensic teams have been searching for evidence."

Quote: "These are worrying incidents and at the present time we cannot see any obvious reason why the vehicles have been targeted..."

Note: So, what evidence is there that this was arson again? Did they rule out hydrogen sulfide's reactivity with rusty iron/steel or electrified copper? Noooo, so they haven't ruled that out as the cause of these fires, which means they don't know what caused these fires. I find their evidence that this was arson - none - very unconvincing. Motive? No. Surveillance footage? (This is Britain!) No. Witnesses? No. Assumption? Okay, yeah, they DO have that, and that's it. Not remotely good enough, especially in light of all the other parked vehicles bursting into flame all over the planet, especially in the wee hours. Obviously they are oblivious to the events occurring on this planet else they wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions, which in itself demonstrates - at best - incompetent detective work...

Quote: "The fire is being treated as suspicious and SA Police are investigating."

Note: Ah, so it's not arson as the URL title suggests. It's just 'suspicious', meaning it was a parked vehicle igniting. Well, that's commonplace now, even if these investigators are oblivious to that fact. I could easily call up hundreds and probably thousands of events involving parked vehicles spontaneously igniting, especially in the wee hours and especially in the last year. The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide or methane in the air above closer to the ground...

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=9449995

Quote: "Thousands of bales of hay stacked about 30 feet tall caught fire."

Note: Hay has been seriously burning, especially in the last year. It's been burning in fields, in barns, on trucks being transported. That means less food for cattle, which will eventually mean less beef and milk. Crops aren't doing too well either, for numerous reasons, and that will eventually mean fewer vegetables. If volcanic winter really kicks in hard then we'll probably have to learn to live without food, quite possibly for a thousand years or more. On the plus side, we might well all be dead from poison gas, poisoned water, fires or explosions within 5 or 10 years (the latter looks optimistic at this point), so starvation might not be that big of a worry...

http://crimeblog.dallasnews.com/2014/03/naked-man-who-scuffled-with-police-dies-hours-after-his-arrest.html/

Note: Hydrogen sulfide can chemically fry your brain, make you hallucinate or go insane, make you fearless, make you hot so that you remove clothing to cool off, possibly give you superhuman strength...and it'll also kill you. I've seen this numerous times now, where they capture a neuro-zombie'd person and that person dies within a short period of time. In some cases they've been put in a patrol car and they've died right there in the car. The original face-eater, had they not blown him away with six bullets, would probably have died within a day or two anyway. Anyone can be zombified now at any time, but you're most likely to become zombified in the wee hours, and in, near or downwind of low-lying areas such as bodies of water, ditches, basements, underground parking garages, valleys, canyons, etc. The gas is still far more likely to flat-out kill you though than it is to zombify you...

Note: As the methane clathrate deposits along coasts dissolve, sinkholes like this will become more common, as the underlying ground itself transforms from a kind of solid to water and gas. Eventually, entire coastlines may sink into the ocean or in some cases some areas may slide off into the ocean. There's really no telling how bad this particular problem will get or how fast it will happen, but things are certainly accelerating...

(sorry, thought that was funny . . .)

What's up with all the crazies in China? Think it might have something to do with the noxious air they get to breathe?

And, see - again today - PA in a bunch of stories.

Today a guy told me about something I never heard of. He asked if i'd ever heard of a "steam hammer," and told me that it used to happen in places that used a lot of steam - like NY - where, due to condensation from weather changes, leaks, some other factors, when the condensation gets in the way of the steam coming through the pipes under pressure, that the force of the steam pushing the condensed water (and heating it along the way) causes it to burst right through a pipe joint (like a tee or elbow) and that it can kill people. He said it was one of the things old steamfitters used to talk about avoiding.

    1. You got me on the China knife rampages and stuff. Slow mental degradation? The air there sure can't be good, when they put up giant screens to show VIRTUAL sunrise because people can't see the REAL sun through all the smog!

Didn't know that about 'steam hammers'!

  2. Loved that wave swamping the dinner patrons in Santa Barbara - the Weather Channel has played it all day and a few of the news feeds showed it too.

I appreciate the comment you made regarding hay - and ultimately food - coming down the pike. I've brought this fact up on numerous sites, that people only think things are normal until there's no electricity, no water or no food. Then it's chaos.
How about the Philippines a couple months ago - whole villages wiped off the map and there was NOTHING left. Talk about trouble! I don't know it they recovered yet!

    Shit's gettin' serious.

    1. We aren't really even trying to protect ourselves from looming hardship. All these cities losing piles of important vehicles - some of that could be prevented, by A) removing the batteries when the vehicles are parked for the day; and B) by separating the vehicles from each other when they're parked.

Food is gonna be a problem. 'They' know it too. There was a military training exercise a coupla years ago, where our soldiers were training to quell civilian food riots. The soldiers playing the part of the rioters had signs saying stuff like, 'Give us food!' You can already see the problem creeping up on us - packages are getting smaller, prices are getting higher. And the weather is getting so direly unpredictable that growing crops is going to be hard.

I'm not too preachy, but people should be considering local food production, for their own sakes. Like in their yards, in containers, whatever. What's the worst case? You end up learning how to grow some food yourself and save some money and probably eat healthier? Just got an order of seeds, a bit of fertilizer, and another 40 cubic feet of premium soil last week. I don't know how well anything will grow in the deteriorating environment, but it still seems like it's worth some effort. One person doing that doesn't change much of anything, but if lots of people did the same, it'd make a difference down the line, help prevent some misery.

  3. Jonny- I mentioned on another forum (one you know) that I thought that huge 9 million pound beef recall was a scam and the food was taken off the market for the government to use for the troops and institutions because they KNOW there will be shortages and if you need troops to keep order you have to feed them.
After my comment, that thread WAS BURIED and I had to search to find it. I am surprised I didn't get banned. The excuse for the recall was so lame, it only makes sense the food was taken for another purpose.Your thoughts?

    1. Well, if you're asking whether that food was 'disappeared' to stockpile for coming shortages, I would say 'I do not know', but I also wouldn't doubt it at all. Heh, Comments where people bring up the Jumping Jack Flash Hypothesis 'over there' get buried real fast too. You can almost hear the whooshing sound sometimes as the threads disappear, buried beneath mountains of inanity and distraction.

    3. That place is exactly what it says it is: entertainment purposes ONLY. What's another word for 'entertainment'? Distraction! Anyone thinking they're gonna find the truth there is fooling themself. It's a sandbox, to let people play and be entertained and at the same time distract from the truth, to steer people toward other topics, to waste their time. I do use it sometimes though, to find links to news that's interesting, and that's it.

  4. i'm with you on gardening - been doing it for years (and experiencing deteriorating harvests), but with seasonality it can only go on for so long and then we're at the mercy of the food stores (canning would help somewhat). Last night it was -1 here in PA, what's going to grow?! There are a lot of things "we" could be doing, but most have no desire to put themselves out in any way and getting their hands dirty is just not accepted by most.

    1. Compare this year to the bakingly hot 2012. I planted crops outside in 2012 on March 26! This year, well, yesterday it was 4 degrees. So yeah, will we even HAVE a growing season, that's the question now and probably every year that comes after. And people are sleeping through all of this?! Crrrrrraaaaazy! And I too have experienced declining garden productivity. I even went flower-crazy last year, hoping to bring in more bees and hoping that was the problem. I still don't know if that was the problem, because there still weren't many bees, but I'm thinking it's more the atmosphere now or the increasing UV or whatever they're spraying into the air or all of the above.
