Event Update For 2013-09-24

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2013-09-24 - Huge fire rips through fertilizer plant in coastal São Francisco do Sul (Brazil), many people sicken, some flee:
Quote: "This fire at a fertiliser plant in Brazilian municipality of Sao Francisco do Sul has been burning since Tuesday. More than 120 local residents have been treated in hospital for throat and nose irritation, nausea and vomiting. Hundreds of residents have been evacuated within a two kilometre radius of the blaze. Some have fled the town because of fears for their health despite authorities' assurances the smoke isn't toxic."
2013-09-24 - Chemical plant erupts in flame in Carson (California), near the coast:
Note: From the full hypothesis: "Likewise, chemical plants of all types will burn and/or explode, including biofuels plants, fertilizer plants, specialty chemical plants, petroleum-related facilities and more."

2013-09-24 - Home explodes and burns in Codorus Township (Pennsylvania), completely leveled, 1 killed:

2013-09-24 - Apartment explodes in coastal Pacific Beach, San Diego (California), 2 seriously burned:

Note: They may have been making cannabis extract using butane. I'm not going to dwell on such explosions, but I did say that such explosions were going to become more common due to the problem of the 'ghostly match', described in the 2013-09-15 update. Quoting from that update: "The same problem with the 'ghostly match' will hit people siphoning gas, people making cannabis extract with butane, people making meth with flammable vapors, people applying flooring chemicals which are flammable, gas stoves if there's even the slightest leak, etc." You can take all the precautions you want, but you won't see this problem coming until the ghostly match ignites and then it's too late...

Note: Not unlike the Boeing Dreamliner battery fires, or the cellphone that burned and exploded in Woodburn (Oregon) a few days prior, as mentioned in the 2013-09-19 update. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with copper, especially electrified copper, like wiring attached to batteries of all kinds...

Note: Hard to stack the deck against yourself more than that: vehicles (rust and electrified copper), on a coast, at a landfill, in the wee hours. (The wee hours are when the atmosphere cools and contracts, which will push any hydrogen sulfide and methane in the atmosphere above closer to the ground.)
