Event Update For 2017-08-30

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://wncn.com/2017/08/30/gas-odor-at-morrisville-apartment-complex-sends-2-to-hospital-prompts-evacuation/

Quote: "Three people were knocked unconscious by a gas odor that was reported at the Bexley at Preston apartment complex in Morrisville, authorities said. The call came in at 6:15 p.m. The three regained consciousness at the scene and are in stable condition. Two have been taken to hospitals for observation, officials said."

Quote: "A Morrisville apartment building was evacuated and two people were taken to area hospitals after a 'gas odor' was reported. The Morrisville Fire/Rescue Department and a hazmat team are investigating the cause of the odor, according to the town. The town’s news release did not call it a 'gas leak.'"

http://www.kvoa.com/story/36256145/hazmat-crews-respond-to-reports-of-strong-odor-in-los-osos

Quote: "A hazmat team was called out to Los Osos Wednesday afternoon after reports of a strong sulfur smell coming from a garbage truck."

Note: When hydrogen sulfide blows in off the ocean, it settles to the ground and some will adsorb onto matter, like garbage. Open garbage bins are like pits and they'll tend to collect and concentrate a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide. A sulfur odor just hit several coastal cities for three days north of Los Osos too, mentioned in the 2017-08-29 update. If you smell a sulfur odor on the coast nowadays, you're probably being poisoned by hydrogen sulfide, although if it smells like rotten eggs then that indicates that it's not very concentrated. If concentrated hydrogen sulfide (0.1% hydrogen sulfide in the atmosphere) hits you then you won't be alive very long to smell anything. Speaking of the garbage problem...

Some alien remains or metallic fragments of a spaceship would do more to move the needle towards belief than yet another collection of artifacts showing beings with big heads and almond eyes. While they‘re interesting, controversial and puzzling, they’re not unequivocal proof."

  1. Good morning Jonny (and any and all others reading here). Your blog would be an archive for posterity, if there was a posterity.

New stuff burning include a tar truck (it's a wonder those sloppy, smelly vehicles towing tar heating trailers don't go up in flames more often), used in both roofing and road work.

More and more medical incidents popping up, and lots of people dropping dead all over the place. All kinds of accidents caused by people veering one way or another, crashing into all kinds of stuff and causing death and destruction keep happening steadily.

So here we are, Sept. 1st - a month predicted to be "interesting" in many ways (most of them "not good") - economic, environmental, space related and political (to name a few).

    [let's begin with a recap]

Grave new dangers emerge in Harvey’s wake
    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/grave-new-dangers-emerge-in-harvey%E2%80%99s-wake/ar-AAr0JBx

Texas localities had reported by Thursday that more than 93,000 homes suffered damage, including nearly 7,000 that were destroyed by Harvey, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety report. But that preliminary estimate does not include figures from heavily populated Houston and other cities that were hit hard by flooding, such as Port Arthur and Beaumont. The real number is likely to be far higher once authorities are able to assess areas that are currently unreachable. [more]

Hurricane Harvey Aftermath: 100,000 Homes Destroyed, A Million Vehicles Ruined And Bottled Water Being Sold For $99 A Case
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/hurricane-harvey-aftermath-100000-homes-destroyed-a-million-vehicles-ruined-and-bottled-water-being-priced-at-99-a-case

[now I understand why a guy had an entire shopping cart filled with cases of bottled water at a store I was in yesterday . . ]

It is now being estimated that the total amount of economic damage caused by Hurricane Harvey will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 190 billion dollars.  It is a disaster unlike anything that we have ever seen before in all of U.S. history, and federal officials are already admitting that they are literally going to be dealing with the aftermath of this storm for “years”.  At this point, more than 100,000 homes have been destroyed, “up to one million vehicles” have been ruined, and many retailers have already been caught engaging in extreme price gouging.  But this could be just the beginning, because this storm has already rendered many areas along the Gulf coast “uninhabitable” for an extended period of time, and as you will see at the end of this article another hurricane may be arriving early next month. Authorities have cited thirty known deaths as of Tuesday night, while 13,000 people have been rescued

Submerging a city means introducing a new ecosystem of fungal growth that will change the health of the population in ways we are only beginning to understand. The Gulf Coast faces an evolving public health crisis in the wake of Hurricane Harvey that's likely to unfold over months or even years. Health officials are concerned about everything from immediate injuries and exposure to germs and toxic chemicals to more insidious and long-term threats, including mold in the walls of flooded homes and mental health problems.
