Event Update For 2017-08-22

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Former Yugoslav General says regularly occurring UFO outran jets

On several occasions in 1975, Yugoslav Air Force jets saw a strange multi-colored glowing orb, but every time they tried to investigate, it would outrun their jet fighters. Finally, after failed attempts to get a closer look, and facing ridicule for reporting the incidents, they chose to ignore it.

This is according to General Zvonimir Jurjevic, former commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of Yugoslavia. The story was first revealed in 2011 in a book on the 172 Aviation Regiment, which was lead by Jujevic. He recently discussed the UFO encounters again in an interview with Sputnik International.[more]

First X-rays from mystery supernovas detected

Scientists have detected the first X-rays from what appears to be a type Ia supernova [created when a white dwarf star in a two-star system undergoes a thermonuclear explosion], located inside the spiral-shaped galaxy ESO 336-G009, about 260 million light-years from Earth. [more]

What is the large white blob floating in the Gulf of Mexico near Florida?

Off the coast of Sanibel Island in Florida, a large, milky-white blob is floating in the ocean, worrying some spectators.
The main fear, according to the Fort Myers News-Press, was that the white water was trichodesmium, which can be a precursor to red tide. Red tide is a bloom of algae that kills certain marine life and can cause respiratory issues in humans, typically resulting in temporary beach closures. [more]

Firefighters, National Guard work to control blazes across Oregon

[so now there's the normal firefighters, convicts who volunteered, (probably) units from other countries (volunteering),
and the National Guard fighting this ONE fire]

A number of wildfires continue to burn across Oregon Wednesday -- the largest of which has already charred nearly 100,000 acres, fire officials said.

Of nine uncontained fires currently burning in the state, the Chetco Bar fire in south Oregon is the biggest. Started by lightning, it continues to grow -- and has displaced 300 families, officials said. [more]

  5. I don't know if either one of you follow any of the Near Term Human Extinction pages on slavebook or not.... so if not, I wanted to fill you in on an ongoing scandal that broke there on Tue. Seems Dr. McPhereson may have engaged in some very inappropriate sexting with a young lady who only wanted to be his friend. It's being pushed by the professors old pals, Mike Sliwa and Derrick Jenson to such a point that it seems they are trying to make an example of the professor for what they call his degradation to women. It's very disappointing to say the least and I wish I had some screen shots of all the madness. I sincerely did not get that sort of vibe from the professor but what do I know. Anyway, I personally don't know what to think and wish I'd never seen any of the tread as it wreaks of hate..............just want to go back believing he's a decent guy trying to wake up the masses to abrupt climate change.....fear I can't. :-(

    on a lighter note:
North Eastern Oklahoma is enjoying fall like temps today. After the eclipse the humidity dropped and it's much easier to breath. Although, the lake is getting nastier, both in color and smell.....there will be a great many communities around this 46,000+ acre lake that will disappear.....wont that be shocking!!

Mathematical secrets of ancient Babylonian tablet unlocked

At least 1,000 years before the Greek mathematician Pythagoras looked at a right angled triangle and worked out that the square of the longest side is always equal to the sum of the squares of the other two, an unknown Babylonian genius took a clay tablet and a reed pen and marked out not just the same theorem, but a series of trigonometry tables which scientists claim are more accurate than any available today. 7. College Student Dies After Suffering Altitude Sickness While Hiking Colorado Mountains

A 20-year-old woman has died while hiking in Colorado after suffering from acute altitude sickness

Susanna DeForest, of Pennsylvania, was hiking with friends on the Conundrum Creek Trail when she fell ill on Thursday, authorities said.

About halfway to the hot springs they planned to travel to, the group set up camp, but DeForest’s condition worsened.

While one person stayed with DeForest, her other friends rushed to get help. By the time emergency responders arrived early Friday, DeForest had died, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

DeForest’s mother, Kate DeForest, wrote on social media that her daughter had died from acute altitude sickness.

The 8.5-mile Conundrum Trail has a beginning elevation of 8,700 feet and rises to 11,200 feet. It is considered a difficult hike.[more]
