Event Update For 2017-08-16

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2017-08-16 - Rotten egg odor hits Gainesville (Georgia), no cause found:
http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/section/6/article/124869/

Quote: "After an investigation by Liberty Utilities, it was determined that the smell was 'not due to a gas leak or any hazardous condition associated with Liberty Utilities facilities,' Smith said. Smith did not know what company or organization is responsible for the odor. 'Our units found that there was an odor in and around Gainesville but never located a source,' Smith said."

Quote: "Liberty Utilities marketing and communications manager John Shore said it was unclear what caused the odor."

2017-08-16 - Cracks open in the ground and spew unknown sulfur-smelling gas, plants die, in Chacalapa (Mexico):
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/weird-news/638115/earth-cracks-open-Mexico-Tobasco-gateway-to-hell-chemical-hazard-danger-mystery

Quote: "The region in the state of Tobasco, Mexico – famous for its hot sauce – is under investigation by geology experts after cracks were reported in Chacalapa, a rural suburb in south east Mexico. Vegetation around the eruptions has been killed and the sickening fumes have driven people from their homes."

Quote: "'Nobody says a word of what is happening in our community. It is near a dirty space, but a crack opened and a vapour with strong sulphur smell comes from there until eyes sting.' Experts wearing yellow chemical hazard suits have been seen digging and taking scientific readings at the cracks."

Quote: "Neighbours told me that near this place there is a dirty area, where smoke comes out, vapour with a sulfur smell."

Quote: "Regional civil protection expert Javier Collado said his department is awaiting the results of tests on the fumes. He claimed that initial results showed there is 'no dangerous material there, nor methane gas.' He added: 'There is no danger of explosion. We cannot alert the population because there is no danger.'"

Note: If there's no danger then why are the workers wearing HazMat suits? What's killing the plants? Maybe the workers should take those HazMat suits off, put their faces over the gas vents and inhale deeply a few times. You know, just to reassure the local people. Hydrogen sulfide smells like sulfur, and it's an eye irritant...

The LAPD says the man is suspected of stealing an SUV from a San Bernardino car dealership Wednesday. Police chased him to the loading dock where he hiked up the stairs to the top of the crane some 140 feet above the ground and ocean. He took off his shirt and shoes after ascending the crane, and minutes later took off his pants."

  1. Test run #2 (hey, if Fran can post with no problems, why can't I?)

So Wednesbury is a JJFH hotspot today with a couple incidents.

Here we go again with a whole building full of water using appliances burning - a laundromat! Also, the carpet cleaning truck that burned up uses water too.

When those big electrical generators go, it takes about a year to replace them, since they're all custom made (probably in China).
Add this to the problems they're having already at Oroville!

Okay, the rest is on zeta.

A strange disease, whose symptoms include diarrhea, bloodstained vomiting and high fever has killed 50 people at Okunran, Okoloke and Isanlu-Esa villages in Yagba West Local Government of Kogi. Initial reports had suspected lassa fever, but medics told Dr. Saka Audu, Commissioner for Health, who visited the affected areas on Thursday, that it was a strange disease that was unknown.
"We initially suspected Lassa Fever after getting some misleading reports about people bleeding around, so we made a diagnosis for viral haemorrhagic fever (lassa fever), but the result was negative," Dr. Jannette Hathorn, a Consultant at ECWA Hospital, Egbe told Audu.
She said that the first case was that of a child of two and half years, who died 12 hours after he was brought to the hospital.
"We are sure it is not lassa fever; but our concern is that we do not know exactly what is happening. We have not arrived at a definitive diagnosis. [more]

Worldwide investment in renewable energy reaches US$ 4 trillion – with little to show for it

Will Solar Power Be at Fault for the Next Environmental Crisis?
Solar panel waste will become a major issue in the coming decades as old solar panels reach the ends of their useful lifespans and require disposal.
With nuclear power, there will supposedly be plenty of money to pay for "decommissioning services," which are expected to develop into a major industry. Similarly, there are expectations that services to "manage" end-of-life PV panels will become big business. Not to mention scrapped wind turbines. But I predict that there will be precious little money to engage such services. Net energy decline and the increasing use of renewables — which have a far lower power density than fossil fuels — are driving a downward economic spiral which guarantees that the post-industrial landscape will be littered with exploding nuke plants, burned-out solar farms, and the rusting hulks of junked wind turbines. -- RF

Why Climate Change Isn't Our Biggest Environmental Problem, and Why Technology Won't Save Us
Our core ecological problem is not climate change. It is overshoot, of which global warming is a symptom. Overshoot is a systemic issue. Over the past century-and-a-half, enormous amounts of cheap energy from fossil fuels enabled the rapid growth of resource extraction, manufacturing, and consumption; and these in turn led to population increase, pollution, and loss of natural habitat and hence biodiversity.

    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/what-is-pulse-wave-hackers-devise-new-ddos-attack-technique-aimed-at-boosting-scale-of-assaults/ar-AAqhaBU

"The most distinguishable aspect of pulse wave assaults is the absence of a ramp-up period — all attack resources are committed at once, resulting in an event that, within the first few seconds, reaches a peak capacity that is maintained over its duration," the Imperva researchers said.
Pulse wave takes advantage of appliance-first hybrid mitigation solutions by preying on the "Achilles' heel of appliance-first mitigation solutions", – the devices' incapability of dealing with sudden powerful attack traffic surges. [more]
