Event Update For 2017-07-21

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "Atmos says it is working as quickly and safely as they possibly can, but have not found any leaks thus far. Atmos says it is also working with first responders as they all try to figure out the source of the strange odor."

Note: Natural gas is odorless, so they add methyl mercaptan to it, which smells like 'rotten eggs', since methyl mercaptan is made with hydrogen sulfide. In other words, hydrogen sulfide smells just like methyl mercaptan, at least at low concentrations, so people are getting confused and reporting 'natural gas' smells, when at least a lot of the time what they're smelling is hydrogen sulfide blowing by in the atmosphere. Which explains so many of these events where no natural gas is detected by their natural gas detectors and no leaks are found...

  1. Whoa, temp hit 108F here yesterday:

That's the tenth-highest temp ever recorded here on any day, and the highest since a July heatwave in 1954, so yesterday was the hottest day here in St. Louis since I've been alive. Just had a thunderstorm roll through, so that's supposed to cool things off into the 90s. (Brr!)

  2. Geez! I hear ya, Jonny - that "heat dome" problem is popping up all over the place as "stuck" weather systems impact wide ranging areas. Our 5th heatwave is due to end today or tomorrow with a gusty thunderstorm. The one we got yesterday LOOKED menacing - with the sky getting spooky weird dark and the wind kicking up and blowing the trees around - but only dropped heavy rain for about 3 minutes before shutting off like a home shower and moving on.
