Event Update For 2014-01-19

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Category: Fires And Explosions
2014-01-19 - Huge inferno rips through town of Laerdalsoyri (Norway), 30 buildings destroyed, 90 people injured:
Note: Laerdalsoyri is located along the banks of the Laerdalselvi River. The city of Dukekong (China) was virtually razed not long ago too, at 1:27 AM, as mentioned in the 2014-01-10 update, so this is the second huge fire to wipe out a goodly portion of a city this month...

Quote: "Officials said the plant’s yard was filled with newspaper and wooden pallets adding fuel to the stubborn blaze."

Note: And the day prior, a pallet company burned near Falkville (Alabama). Pallets aren't as big a threat as vehicles, but they're still pretty bad. It's the combination of materials that's the problem. Hydrogen sulfide is reactive with rusty iron/steel, like the nails/screws/staples that hold pallets together. So some hydrogen sulfide blows by, some sparking and sizzling breaks out near the rust, a spark falls on the wood - which itself may have absorbed some methane and/or hydrogen sulfide - and then you have a fire. Pallets are also often stored outdoors - as in this case - which means they're fully exposed to whatever blows by in the atmosphere...
