Event Update For 2013-01-24

Link to full hypothesis:
http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

Summary of Hypothesis:
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

Predictions:

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Recent Events Matching Predictions:

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.

2013-01-24 - Huge underground explosion traps 240 people at Fordow nuclear facility in Iran:
http://www.wnd.com/2013/01/sabotage-key-iranian-nuclear-facility-hit/

Quote: "The blast shook facilities within a radius of three miles."

Note: I'm not convinced this was sabotage. I mean, c'mon, this is a secure facility, so it's not like anyone could waltz in with enough explosives to cause a deep underground blast that'd shake buildings 3 miles away. Methane coming up from beneath? Hydrogen sulfide flowing down to the bottom from above then concentrating, finding an ignition source and exploding? Some of each?

2013-01-24 - Large string of fires erupt near coastal Boston (Massachusetts), including 3 four-alarm fires, 1 killed, 2 injured:
http://www.myfoxboston.com/story/20680143/2013/01/24/crews-respond-to-massive-fire-in-lawrence

Quote: "One firefighter injured his knee and another had chest pains while battling the blaze."

Quote: " It was a similar situation for firefighters across the region. In addition to Barre and Lawrence, fires were reported in Brookline, East Boston, Lowell, Marblehead, and Hyannis."

Note: There are nearly 4,000 square miles of methane hydrate deposits melting off the US East Coast now...

Quote: "...the cause is still unknown, he said it was likely to have been triggered by spontaneous combustion within the hay bales."

Note: Hay is an absorbent material and is absorbing hydrogen sulfide and/or methane and spontaneously combusting. There have been simply a ton of fires mysteriously erupting that involve hay, and that is undoubtedly the cause of at least a significant number of the barns going up in flames...

Quote: "At this time, the fire has been determined to be suspicious and incendiary in nature."

Note: So they found evidence of accelerants. Well, that's what hydrogen sulfide and methane are, so there's going to be evidence of accelerants at a whole lot of fires. That doesn't mean that humans are involved in any way. Of course, they don't understand the problem, so they're making assumptions, which may or may not be correct...

2013-01-24 - Basement fire erupts at art gallery in coastal Marblehead (Massachusetts):
http://www.itemlive.com/articles/2013/01/25/news/news06.txt

Note: Basements are where a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide will tend to flow to once the gas infiltrates a building. That's also where water heaters (and their pilot lights) are generally located. And this was an art gallery, so maybe they had wood frames or canvas for paintings and the like down there too...

2013-01-24 - Fire erupts at Irving Forest Products in Dixfield (Maine):

Note: It's really not very safe to live next to vacant structures anymore, for this reason. It wasn't ever GOOD to live near a vacant building, but now it's just seriously dangerous...

2013-01-24 - Two vacant buildings burn on same street on the same day in Shamokin (Pennsylvania):
http://wnep.com/2013/01/24/firefighters-called-to-vacant-building-fire/
http://wnep.com/2013/01/24/two-fires-on-same-street-in-one-day/

Quote: "That makes four fires on that street within the past few months."

Quote: "Many of the fires in the area over the past couple of months have been at vacant buildings."

Note: That's because vacant buildings are more vulnerable to flammable hydrogen sulfide and methane in the atmosphere, for a few reasons: 1) they're not usually as well-insulated as occupied buildings; 2) they don't have anyone in the house using fire regularly, which would help burn off any gases before they get to dangerous levels; 3) they're often unheated and heat rises and air expands as it's heated, which would help keep outside gases from getting inside...

2013-01-24 - Missing man, 59, found dead near his home in Warren (Minnesota):
http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/256697/group/homepage/

Note: They say he died of exposure. Sure, he probably did, after he lost consciousness from breathing hydrogen sulfide blowing in off the Great Lakes. He was a quarter mile from his ATV and a quarter mile from his house. That's 4 blocks from home. I find it hard to believe he froze to death because he couldn't walk half a mile from his ATV to his house. That'd only take about 8 minutes, maybe 10 or 15 if the terrain was rugged. But if he fell unconsious on the way, that's a whole different story...

2013-01-24 - HazMat event at condo building in Woodridge (Illinois), building evacuated, blamed on potassium cyanide:
http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/site/?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=HZ-20130125-37990-USA

Quote: "...police were asked to conduct a well-being check at the four-unit building..."

Quote: "Potassium cyanide releases hydrogen cyanide gas, a highly toxic chemical asphyxiant that interferes with the body's ability to use oxygen. Exposure to potassium cyanide can be rapidly fatal."

Note: Who asked for a welfare check, and why? Hydrogen sulfide is also a highly toxic chemical asphyxiant that interferes with the body's ability to use oxygen, and can also be rapidly fatal. And why would anyone in a condo have any potassium cyanide? This story, as told, smells rather fishy.

2013-01-24 - 'Foul smell' blankets Bridgeton (Missouri), blamed on landfill drilling:

http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2013/01/24/smelly-unknown-stench-surrounds-bridgeton-neighborhood/

Quote: "Previous stenches have been caused by methane fires, deep inside a landfill located in Bridgeton. And next to the regular-trash landfill is one with illegally-dumped radioactive waste from the Manhattan Project."

Note: Landfills are a traditional source for hydrogen sulfide and methane emissions. Perhaps they're drilling now because gas releases are getting bad there, and they want to try to drain off the gases to react them away, or burn them off, before the whole place explodes or everyone near it sickens or falls over dead. Obviously, you wouldn't want to take chances with this place blowing up, seeing as it's right next door to nuclear waste from the Manhattan Project...

Plus when a building is occupied there is much better air circulation with doors constantly being closed & opened, ceiling fans are usually on even in the Winter to help heat circulate. I leave a fan on in my basement 24/7 now. I've got an on-demand gas water heater which I haven't used in months opting to bathe by hand with reverse-osmosis water because of my extreme sensitivity to all of the chemicals in the city water.

Yesterday you reported a fire less than 30 miles to the South of me in Fondulac now today you report a fire in Menasha less than 30 miles to the North of me. I won't be joking about it anymore!
There is a vehicle parked on each side of my house. I better seriously think about moving them. I live in a 1920 tinderbox so it wouldn't take much for it to go up in smoke. According to that methane hydrate map we're toast.

    1. I'm in a 1910 brick house here, which certainly isn't fireproof, seeing as it just burned pretty hard in 2005. Was kinda hoping I'd never have to live through that again. And I'd definitely move those vehicles away from your house. Better safe than...'Ahhhh! Fire!'

Also, good point about air circulation in occupied homes. Just opening a door would let indoor gas that had accumulated back out, whereas if it's a boarded up vacant house, once it gets inside, it's probably staying inside, getting absorbed into the wood and furniture or door frames or whatever's in there.

I'm not focusing on your area, by the way, so your area is simply getting more news stories than some places. I mean, I notice when something occurs there, because I know you live there, but I don't go looking for stories there. I'm just letting the news flow as it flows, no particular focus on any area. Well, maybe a TINY bit my own area, but I try to not even focus on that, else it might distort the view of things. I wanna see what's going on without distortion, and show others, in as unbiased a manner as I can.

    2. RV's sit unused most of the time so that is similar to a vacant building. Many barns are also unoccupied or rarely occupied dead air zones. Any unoccupied large enclosure that isn't regularly ventilated to exchange the inside air is a possible H2S fire bomb waiting to happen because the H2S will build-up inside be absorbed within and have no way back outside.
Has there been a lot of cabins/cottages that are blowing up or burning down? I'm going to tell my brother to make sure our cabin has been aired out before he lights a match in the fireplace. I emailed Ann Morrison about this blog. She is one of the rare scientists who has been publicly warning people about the dangers of the methane clathrates & hydrogen sulfide. She never got back to me so I don't know if she ever has come to this site to check it out. You are sort of a modern day Paul Revere. I'm surprised that there are almost never any comments by others.
Would you ever consider being interviewed on a show like Nuked Radio?

    3. There have been some cabins and cottages burning and/or blowing up, yes. Not a very large number, but I think that's simply because there are fewer of them. Good idea about airing things out before lighting a fireplace.

RVs also have extra problems besides being like small vacant houses: 1) they often have propane-powered appliances with pilot lights; 2) they have the copper problem, and that's probably worse when connected to batteries; 3) they don't sit right ON the ground so a heavier-than-air gas can blow UNDER them then get pushed upward into the RV by air pressure as the winds blow; 4) depending on age, they may have the rusted iron/steel problem.

Hah, never thought of the Paul Revere comparison, but I guess it fits. 'The gases are *cough* coming! *cough cough* The gases are coming!'

Not sure how those online radio shows work. Not sure I have a microphone either. I do have a phone. Heh. I mentioned, I am shy and reclusive, but considering it might help wake people up, sure, I'd consider it.

As for lack of comments, I don't let that bother me or dissuade me. Some people probably dismiss everything I say here, because the implication is that the government itself is hiding this from us, and that's gonna seem simply unbelievable to many. I know that, because I was just like that myself. But the more I asked myself, 'Would they hide this?' the more I realized...yeah, they actually might. The first duty of a government is 'protect the citizens', but what if they CAN'T? Then they might just hide it, yes. Dead people are easier to handle than scared people. Dead people don't get angry either. And for other people, if they DO look at the science links and the massive amount of accumulating evidence, and they DO see that this is happening, they may just be shocked speechless. I know that too, because I was also just like that.
