Event Update For 2013-01-26

Link to full hypothesis:

Summary of Hypothesis:
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Recent Events Matching Predictions:

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.

2013-01-26 - Deadly nightclub blaze kills at least 230 people in Santa Maria (Brazil):

Note: Someone had lit some pyrotechnics and that's blamed for the blaze. That was the ignition source, certainly, but if anything cloth or wood in that place had absorbed any hydrogen sulfide and/or methane then that place would have burned extremely rapidly, and that's what happened. Lots of bonfire and grill fires and explosions lately, same thing, smaller scale: you provide the ignition, and the gas problem kicks your ass. Look at the corpses list for this day: man found burned to death in a field. He was homeless, so he probably slept on the ground, so his clothes would absorb hydrogen sulfide. He was probably a smoker, or had lit his stove to cook something, and whoosh, he went up in flames. Nor is he remotely the first person found similarly burned to death in recent times...

2013-01-26 - Underground fire erupts in Auburn (New York), power lost to 800 customers:

Note: And the day prior, an underground explosion took out power to 1100 customers in Sioux Falls (South Dakota), as mentioned in the 2013-01-25 update. These underground electrical fires and explosions are becoming increasingly common as hydrogen sulfide from the seas, lakes and oceans of the planet contaminates our atmosphere. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly flammable gas which is also heavier-than-air, so it will seek out the lowest-lying area around, which means underground facilities, and it is ALSO reactive with copper and rusty iron...

2013-01-26 - Massive explosion and fire rock town of Grayville (Illinois) after oil company building explodes and burns:

Note: Grayville is right on the Wabash River...

2013-01-26 - More loud explosion sounds heard/felt, this time in Leon County (Texas):

Note: No news story this time, except on their Facebook link. Sorry 'bout that; I'd prefer a non-Facebook link myself. These 'boom sounds' and house-shaking explosions being heard and felt all around the world are likely atmospheric gas plumes - hydrogen sulfide or methane or a mixture - finding an ignition source and detonating. Ignition source could be static electricity, lightning or ball lightning, copper, rusty iron, fire of any kind, or a variety of chemicals. Texas is right on the Gulf Coast, and both hydrogen sulfide and methane are surely blowing in off the Gulf of Mexico now...

2013-01-26 - Fireworks warehouse explodes and burns in Wilson County (Texas):

2013-01-26 - Fire rages through Grand Tower Inn in coastal Bangkok (Thailand), 1 killed, 11 injured:

Note: Interesting one here. The fire that ultimately engulfed the building started on the first floor. Hydrogen sulfide is a flammable heavier-than-air gas so once it infiltrates a building, it will flow down elevator shafts and stairwells to lower floors. It was a storage room where the fire began, and those rooms often contain bedding, an absorbent material which will absorb whatever hydrogen sulfide gets to it. As the fire blazed upward, carts with bedding also burst into flame on the upper floors. That bedding had probably absorbed hydrogen sulfide when on the lower floors and as the fire raised the temperature in the building those carts of bedding  spontaneously combusted in the hallways...

2013-01-26 - Man found dead in submerged vehicle in lake in Trussville (Alabama):

Note: They were pulling a different vehicle from out of the lake and stumbled upon this man dead inside his pickup truck in the lake. Sounds like a lotta vehicles going into that lake. But that's happening all over now as people get a whiff of hydrogen sulfide, which will accumulate in low-lying areas like lakes and ponds, then lose consciousness and veer off the road, sometimes into bodies of water. Then they die from breathing water while unconscious, even if the gas didn't flat-out kill them itself, since breathing is an involuntary reflex...
