Event Update For 2020-12-07

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2020-12-07 - Last month was the hottest November ever recorded:

http://theindependent.com/news/world/worlds-hottest-november-ever-recorded-report-says/article_15b6b439-f49f-52af-ab4d-4d93dcb030e2.html
http://desdemonadespair.net/2020/12/global-november-temperatures-reached-a-record-high-in-2020-europe-experienced-its-warmest-autumn-on-record.html

Quote: "The world experienced its hottest November on record, according to data from the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service. Globally, November temperatures were almost 0.8 degrees Celsius above the average for 1981- 2010 and 0.1 degrees higher than last year. This warming comes despite the cooling effect of the La Niña weather system."

Quote: "Copernicus data shows that in addition to November being the hottest recorded, 2020 as a whole could be the hottest year on record. So far, it is on par with 2016, the warmest year on record, and is likely to equal the record or marginally exceed it unless temperatures drop this month."

Note: Just as global warming easily overrode the minor cooling of solar minimum, global warming is also overriding the somewhat more significant cooling of La Niña. And even though the pandemic slowed industry a bit across the world, atmospheric greenhouse gas levels have continued to break records, so there's much more warming ahead of us. Warming lags greenhouse gases by decades, so the climate destabilization we're seeing now is because of what we did decades ago. So no matter what we do now, there will be vastly more warming in the years to come and the climate will continue to destabilize.

Once the climate destabilization becomes extreme enough, crops will regularly fail, widespread famine will ensue and civilization will collapse. Some scientists estimate we have until 2050 until civilization collapses. Maybe they're right, but that seems overly optimistic to me considering how fast the climate is destabilizing now. I wouldn't recommend having kids. If you have any kids, you might want to buy them a recipe book on how to cook people because that's apt to be what they're gonna be eating unless someone eats them first...

2020-12-07 - Fish suffocating along big stretch of the Hudson River near coastal Manhattan (New York):

http://www.instagram.com/p/CIV134sDxTQ/?igshid=197y8eyfa0od7

Quote: "Dead fish have been washing up along a 60-mile stretch of the Hudson River, reaching as far north as Putnam County — and advocates fear they are suffocating to death following a similar mass fish fatality over the summer."

Quote: "'Observers took videos of fish gasping for air while swimming in circles and dying in the waters off the Upper West Side of Manhattan and Horan’s Landing in Sleepy Hollow,' the group wrote on its blog."

Quote: "Bayonne public information officer Joe Ryan told the publication that the mass die-off is usually due to a lack of oxygen in the water — a climate change-linked problem that caused hundreds of fish to suffocate in July."

Note: The warmer the waters of the planet get, the less oxygen the water can hold. Hundreds of dead zones have been spreading across the oceans. As with the Permian-Triassic extinction event, the oceans will die off hardest in the current extinction event too, but most land-based species will also die off, especially species that reproduce slowly, like human beings...

Bracing For A Very Painful Year: 38% Of Americans Say That They Will Spend 2021 In “Survival Mode”
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/bracing-for-a-very-painful-year-38-of-americans-say-that-they-will-spend-2021-in-survival-mode

If nearly 40 percent of the entire nation anticipates spending the next 12 months in “survival mode”, that is not a good sign for what the coming year will bring. Traditionally, Americans have looked forward to the turn of the year with tremendous optimism, but this time around things are very, very different. 2020 brought us the COVID pandemic, tremendous violence and civil unrest in our major cities, and the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Sadly, a large chunk of the country is anticipating more difficulties in the coming months, because one recent survey found that 38 percent of all Americans plan to spend 2021 in “survival mode”…

The biggest reason why so many anticipate being in “survival mode” is because of the financial problems that they experienced this year. According to that same survey, a whopping 68 percent of all Americans say that they experienced some sort of “financial setback” in 2020…

Some industries that were absolutely devastated by the first round of lockdowns are officially in panic mode at this point. For example, we have already permanently lost approximately 17 percent of all of the restaurants in the entire country, and the National Restaurant Association is warning that 10,000 more could permanently shut down “in the next three weeks”… [more]

    https://www.sott.net/article/445485-Caitlin-Johnstone-Bidens-prospective-new-defense-secretary-is-another-professional-war-profiteer

[so all the neo-liberal agenda will be re-upped with Biden; endless war, medical tyranny, gender confusion nonsense and more - is that what people voted for?]

Joe Biden's possible new secretary of defense pick may be celebrated by the MSM, but his nomination only serves to underline the grim truth: corporations are running America's war machine, and they're doing it for profit. [more; OF COURSE!]

As has become the standard ritual for Biden's cabinet picks, the mass media are holding a parade to celebrate the fact that Austin would be the first black chief of the US war machine, while virtually ignoring the murderous agendas he has facilitated throughout his career. As head of Central Command, Austin actively campaigned to resurrect the Pentagon's spectacularly failed program of trying to arm "rebels" in Syria to fight ISIS, and in 2014 he backed immunity for US troops from war crimes prosecutions by the government of Afghanistan. He helped spearhead the Iraq invasion, and he is a member of the same private equity fund which invests in defense contractors as Flournoy and Biden's warmongering pick for secretary of state, Tony Blinken.

Austin is also a member of the board of directors for the war profiteering corporation Raytheon, where he went immediately after his military career. Raytheon spends millions of dollars a year actively lobbying the US government to advance policies which are beneficial to the multibillion-dollar arms manufacturing giant, which of course means lobbying for military expansionism and interventionism. The previous secretary of defense, Mark Esper, also worked for Raytheon, spending years as one of the top corporate lobbyists in DC under the position of 'Vice President for Government Relations'.

Seriously, why not? Why shouldn't the head of the US murder machine come from a corporation which has made billions of dollars facilitating war crimes in Yemen? Why shouldn't the most depraved and bloodthirsty regime on this planet have its depravity and bloodshed advanced by a professional war profiteer? The mass military slaughter of the US and its allies has only ever been about power and profit, so why not be honest about it?

It's absolutely insane that our world is being dominated by war profiteers who actively push for more violence and bloodshed because they make money selling the weapons used to perpetrate it. It's no less evil than if plutocrats were cruising the world murdering people and selling their skins for money; the same number of people would be killed for the same profit incentive, yet people who would recoil in horror at that idea pay no mind to the fact that functionally the same thing is happening with corporate powers like Raytheon. This spring, Guerra, a 53-year-old supervisor at a medical center, had to room with a relative for nearly three months while her landlord renovated the ruined one-story building. Since then, the apartment has flooded twice more.

“As soon as it starts to rain I almost can’t work or think straight, because I’m already bracing myself for a flood,” said Guerra, who’s lived there for six years. While flooding was always a regular occurrence on her street, it’s the first year that the water has seeped in under the door and gushed up from the bathtub and toilet, making the place uninhabitable for days on end.

New research shows that Miami’s affordable housing — already in short supply — is at risk of flooding from sea level rise in the coming decades. The University of Miami found that more than half of all affordable housing in Miami-Dade county lies below Miami’s average elevation of seven feet above sea level. [more]

Unusual deep space signals in Antarctica defy explanation
    https://www.sott.net/article/445515-Unusual-deep-space-signals-in-Antarctica-defy-explanation

Last spring, a report from the world's largest neutrino telescope — a sprawling grid of detectors woven into Antarctica's ice — coincided with a blaze of hyperbolic headlines. They teased the possibility of an anti-universe where, from our point of view, time runs backward and the Big Bang represents an end, not a beginning. While it's too soon to start searching for our reverse-aging, other-handed doppelgängers, physicists are still wrestling with strange signals coming in from space that, to date, have defied easy explanation.

The signals were flagged by a NASA-funded collection of horn radio antennas held aloft over Antarctica by a giant balloon. The device, called the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA), picks up radio signals produced when high-energy particles coming from deep space encounter our atmosphere. Some waves skim the Earth before they hit ANITA, and others bounce off the ice. ANITA can tell the difference. During its first float in 2006 and again in 2014, the device picked up anomalous signals that resembled the kind that skim the Earth — but strangely, they seemed to be coming from the surface.

"That means they had to pass through a huge chunk of the Earth," says physicist Stephanie Wissel of Penn State, who works on the ANITA experiment. [more]

Fragments of energy – not waves or particles – may be the fundamental building blocks of the universe
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/fragments-energy-not-waves-particles-131816318.html

Matter is what makes up the universe, but what makes up matter? This question has long been tricky for those who think about it – especially for the physicists. Reflecting recent trends in physics, my colleague Jeffrey Eischen and I have described an updated way to think about matter. We propose that matter is not made of particles or waves, as was long thought, but – more fundamentally – that matter is made of fragments of energy.

Using newer mathematical tools, my colleague and I have demonstrated a new theory that may accurately describe the universe. Instead of basing the theory on the warping of space and time, we considered that there could be a building block that is more fundamental than the particle and the wave. Scientists understand that particles and waves are existential opposites: A particle is a source of matter that exists at a single point, and waves exist everywhere except at the points that create them. My colleague and I thought it made logical sense for there to be an underlying connection between them.

For the math and physics aficionados, it is defined as A = -⍺/r where ⍺ is intensity and r is the distance function.

Using the fragment of energy as a building block of matter, we then constructed the math necessary to solve physics problems. The final step was to test it out. [more]

The giant human footprint stamped across the world in 2020 is greater than the impact on the planet of all other living things, research suggests.

The amount of plastic alone is greater in mass than all land animals and marine creatures combined, the study estimates.

Their research shows that human activity including production of concrete, metal, plastic, bricks and asphalt has brought the world to a crossover point where human-made mass – driven mostly by enhanced consumption and urban development – exceeds the overall living biomass on Earth.

On average, every person in the world is responsible for the creation of human-made matter equal to more than their bodyweight each week, the paper published in Nature says.

Machine learning and artificial intelligence are solving problems that we never thought possible. Just this week, a unit of Alphabet-owned Google -- DeepMind -- used the approach to solve a mystery about how proteins fold that had vexed scientists for 50 years.

Another use of the powerful algorithms that doesn't get as much publicity is simulating complex systems to avoid problems that we didn't even know were there. That appears to be what researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have done. And it raises questions about the reported efficacy of the celebrated COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) and BioNTech (NASDAQ:BNTX), Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA), AstraZeneca (NASDAQ:AZN), and others.

It turns out we don't all react to the spike protein the same way. [more]
