Event Update For 2020-12-26

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2020-12-26 - CDC updates guidance to say that you shouldn't ASSUME wearing masks has prevented infection:

Note: That would be the case even if masks cut transmission by 99.99% - you could still be in the 0.01%. And they're nowhere near that effective. In the hamster study, the best case scenario was that masks prevent two-thirds of transmissions, and that's if the infected individuals are the ones wearing the masks. That's helpful but since it's not 100% prevention then you need to quarantine to verify your status before you assume you weren't infected and go around infecting others. Common sense.

Assume Chinese scientists have a reasonable degree of competence and that the hamster study was on the money. (They have certainly gotten control over the virus much better than WE have.) So if you spend 15 minutes within 6 feet with an infected person and they're wearing a mask, roll a six-sided die and if 1 or 2 doesn't show up, you've avoided infection. That's still a 33% chance of infection! But what if you have TEN such encounters? Then your odds of getting infected rise to more than 98%. In other words, however helpful masks are, what's way more effective is to simply avoid people, especially encounters within 6 feet for 15 minutes or longer. You spend enough time around other people, your odds of getting infected go waaaay up, regardless of mask usage. In fact, a county where masks are mandated but where people have those kinds of encounters regularly could very well be WORSE than a county with no mandate but where people more scrupulously avoid contact. Obviously nobody's done any statistical analysis of that because there's no data available for that...

  1. Yeah, we're pretty screwed Jonny.

Here we've been masking up (everywhere i go, everyone has a stupid mask on; you can't even ENTER any building without a mask on AND staying at least 6' from anyone else), following (like sheep) all the (contradictory) advice of the (so-called) experts and IT HASN'T HELPED - the numbers keep rising. So, wear masks and social distance all you want - IT AIN'T HELPING. Hey, why not listen to big-hearted Bill Gates and GET THE SHOT! Ya gotta do what they think is best (since most can't think for themselves).

Covid 'expert' Fauci says pandemic's "WORST YET TO COME" (yet again)

Infectious diseases expert Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned Americans that the worst ravages of the coronavirus pandemic are yet to come.

Infectious diseases expert Dr. Anthony Fauci has warned Americans that the worst ravages of the coronavirus pandemic are yet to come.

[now how would he know that, or say it unless the whole thing is either PLANNED or MADE-UP (with phony numbers from an inadequate test vehicle) or BOTH! Oh, but he's the "expert" leading us to our economic demise - so continue following all his MASK UP/SOCIAL DISTANCING/GET THE SHOT nonsense even though it isn't working (in fact - it's going to make things WORSE, according to Fauci) - maybe he'll get lucky and the numbers will SURGE like he predicts.]

  3. [yeah, about that vaccine]
Major Covid Vaccine Glitch Emerges: Most Europeans, Including Hospital Staff, Refuse To Take It

All is not going according to plan in the biggest global rollout of what is arguably the most important vaccine in a century, and it is not just growing US mistrust in the covid injection effort that was rolled out in record time: an unexpected spike in allergic reactions to the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine (and now, Moderna too) may prove catastrophic to widespread acceptance unless scientists can figure out what is causing it after the FDA's rushed approval, and is also why as we reported yesterday, scientists are scrambling to identify the potential culprit causing the allergic reactions.

Making matters worse, Europe rolled out a huge COVID-19 vaccination drive on Sunday to try to rein in the coronavirus pandemic but even more Europeans than American are sceptical about the speed at which the vaccines have been tested and approved and reluctant to have the shot.

Surveys in Poland, where distrust in public institutions runs deep, show that fewer than 40% of people planning to get vaccinated. Worse, according to Reuters on Sunday, only half the medical staff in a Warsaw hospital where the country’s first shot was administered had signed up. And if the doctors don't trust the vaccine, one can be certain that the broader population will refuse to take it.

A Christian Orthodox bishop in Bulgaria, where 45% of people have said they would not get a shot and 40% plan to wait to see if any negative side effects appear - meaning only 15% of the population will actually volunteer for a vaccine in the near future - is in the tiny minority when it comes to taking the vaccine.

An IPSOS survey of 15 countries published on Nov. 5 showed then that 54% of French would have a COVID vaccine if one were available. The figure was 64% in Italy and Spain, 79% in Britain and 87% in China.

Since then things have gone far worse, and a more recent IFOP poll showed that only 41% people in France would take the shot. This means that a vast majority will not. [more]
