Event Update For 2020-09-26

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2020-09-26 - The F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter jet can't fly near...lightning, or it could blow up:
http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/aviation/a32971900/f-35-lightning-safety/
http://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/thunderstorms-could-literally-blow-f-35-stealth-fighter-169505

Quote: "The F-35 Lightning II strike fighter is temporarily barred from flying near actual lightning. More than a dozen Air Force F-35s were discovered with damage to a system designed to prevent catastrophic damage from lightning strikes. The damaged systems place the aircraft in danger of exploding if the airplane were hit by lightning in mid-flight."

Note: I think there's some problem with them that prevents them from breaking the sound barrier too. So for $135 million each, we're getting fighter jets that can't go very fast and which have to avoid storms lest they explode. That's like Ford releasing a new Mustang that costs $200,000, can't go over 60 MPH and explodes if it gets rained on. But hey, maybe the seats are really comfortable!

  1. Great report Jonny. We see that on top of the epic pot drought we're in right now, it could get a LOT worse if CA growers lose their grow to fire (i'm already suspicious that the smoke will affect budding/taste/terpine production etc.). They may have to harvest early.

  2. The Guardian’s deceit-riddled new statement betrays both Julian Assange and journalism
    https://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2020/09/the-guardian-betrays-julian-assange-and.html

In my recent post on the current hearings at the Old Bailey over Julian Assange’s extradition to the United States, where he would almost certainly be locked away for the rest of his life for the crime of doing journalism, I made two main criticisms of the Guardian.

A decade ago, remember, the newspaper worked closely in collaboration with Assange and Wikileaks to publish the Iraq and Afghan war diaries, which are now the grounds on which the US is basing its case to lock Assange behind bars in a super-max jail.

My first criticism was that the paper had barely bothered to cover the hearing, even though it is the most concerted attack on press freedom in living memory. That position is unconscionably irresponsible, given its own role in publishing the war diaries. But sadly it is not inexplicable. In fact, it is all too easily explained by my second criticism.

That criticism was chiefly levelled at two leading journalists at the Guardian, former investigations editor David Leigh and reporter Luke Harding, who together wrote a book in 2011 that was the earliest example of what would rapidly become a genre among a section of the liberal media elite, most especially at the Guardian, of vilifying Assange.

In my earlier post I set out Leigh and Harding’s well-known animosity towards Assange – the reason why one senior investigative journalist, Nicky Hager, told the Old Bailey courtroom the pair’s 2011 book was “not a reliable source”. That was, in part, because Assange had refused to let them write his official biography, a likely big moneymaker. The hostility had intensified and grown mutual when Assange discovered that behind his back they were writing an unauthorised biography while working alongside him. [more]

Coronavirus: Theory that Chinese propaganda encouraged Western nations to lock down
    https://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2020/09/did-china-trick-world-into-committing.html

As the global community continues to grapple with the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic – and the economic catastrophe caused by the associated “lockdowns” imposed by governments around the world – a chilling new theory has emerged.

It goes like this – China, in an enormous disinformation campaign spread via social media and through compromised voices in Western politics, science and medicine, aggressively pushed for other nations to follow its lead, with the goal of intentionally destroying their economies.

That’s according to Michael Senger, a lawyer and researcher based in Atlanta, Georgia. In an article for Tablet Magazine, Senger has laid out a disturbing timeline of evidence that, if true, hints at what could be the most effective and devastating psy-op ever carried out by a world government.

“By promoting fraudulent data, aggressively deploying disinformation, and flexing its institutional clout, Beijing transformed the snake oil of lockdowns into ‘science’, crippling rival economies, expanding its influence and sowing authoritarian values,” Senger writes on Twitter. [more]

3 Events That Have Greatly Shaken America During The Month Of September
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/3-events-that-have-greatly-shaken-america-during-the-month-of-september

We were warned to “brace ourselves” as we entered the month of September, and this month has definitely turned out to be a critical turning point. As I write this article, some of the biggest wildfires in history continue to rage on the west coast, political activists are preparing for weeks of chaos in Washington D.C. as they attempt to derail Republican attempts to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s vacant seat on the Supreme Court, and protesters all over the country are pouring into the streets filled with fury because of the decision that was just announced in the Breonna Taylor case. This entire year has been a nightmare, and it certainly appears that events are only going to escalate even more during the months ahead. [more]

What If Preventing Collapse Isn't Profitable? (Richard Heinberg; well worth reading)
The real downside of the green-profit narrative has been that it created the assumption in many people's minds that the solution to climate change and other environmental dilemmas is technical, and that policy makers and industrialists will implement it for us, so that the way we live doesn't need to change in any fundamental way. That's never been true.

Study: Vitamin D sufficiency reduces complications, deaths among Covid-19 patients
    https://www.sott.net/article/442014-Study-Vitamin-D-sufficiency-reduces-complications-deaths-among-Covid-19-patients

Hospitalized COVID-19 patients who were vitamin D sufficient, with a blood level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D of at least 30 ng/mL (a measure of vitamin D status), had a significant decreased risk for adverse clinical outcomes including becoming unconscious, hypoxia (body starved for oxygen) and death. In addition, they had lower blood levels of an inflammatory marker (C-reactive protein) and higher blood levels of lymphocytes (a type of immune cell to help fight infection).

"This study provides direct evidence that vitamin D sufficiency can reduce the complications, including the cytokine storm (release of too many proteins into the blood too quickly) and ultimately death from COVID-19," explained corresponding author Michael F. Holick, Ph.D., MD, professor of medicine, physiology and biophysics and molecular medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. [more]

The coronavirus may have 'one big trick.' Scientists are learning how to stop it.
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/coronavirus-may-one-big-trick-141616489.html

The coronavirus appears to have "one big trick," Shane Crotty, a professor in the Center for Infectious Disease and Vaccine Research at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, told Bloomberg.

That trick — avoiding the human body's "initial innate immune response for a significant period of time," and, particularly, the response of a substance called interferon that typically helps orchestrate the defense against viral pathogens — is linked to more severe cases. Indeed, new studies published last week in Science found that an insufficient amount of interferon, the production of which may sometimes be inhibited in people with previously "silent" gene mutations, could signal a more dangerous infection because the lack of interferon can overstimulate the rest of the immune system.

The good news is that, because scientists are catching on to the virus' strategy, they have a better idea of how to prevent it from causing severe infections. [more]
