Event Update For 2020-09-25

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

'A strong, pungent chemical odor is rolling across Delaware County,' said Timothy Boyce, the director of Emergency Services in Delaware County. Boyce said hundreds of calls are coming into Emergency Services about a consistent, heavy chemical odor rolling through the county."

Note: Calm down people, it's probably just some poison gas!

2020-09-25 - Melting Antarctic ice sheet to raise sea levels by 8.5 feet no matter what we do now:
http://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2020/09/23/Antarctic-Ice-Sheet-to-melt-raise-sea-levels-by-85-feet-even-under-Paris-Agreement/5061600879920/
http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/sep/23/melting-antarctic-ice-will-raise-sea-level-by-25-metres-even-if-paris-climate-goals-are-met-study-finds
http://kauaidailynews.com/antarctic-ice-sheet-to-melt-raise-sea-levels-by-8-5-feet-even-under-paris-agreement/

Quote: "The Antarctic Ice Sheet will suffer irreversible ice loss raising ocean levels by 8.5 feet even if the world meets global warming goals laid out by the Paris Agreement on Climate change, scientists said in a report published Wednesday."

Note: The melting of Greenland's ice sheet is now irreversible too, so there's at least 30 feet of unstoppable sea level rise heading our way now. That's enough to wipe out mostly every coastal city on the planet and erase some entire countries from the map of the world. Florida will be completely underwater, so all of the cities in Florida will be destroyed, but many other cities across the US will be destroyed too: New York City, San Diego, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Mobile, Myrtle Beach, Washington DC, Seattle, etc. It may take a while (but not as long as the scientists say because they've consistently been wrong about how fast things are happening). This also means that the majority of nuclear plants will melt down and spew ungodly amounts of radiation into the atmosphere and environment, so anyone still alive then will have to deal with the skin melting from their bones from radiation from time to time...

2020-09-25 - Climate disasters are leaving families with nowhere to go:

Quote: "Murder hornets could spread 'rapidly' across the United States if action is not taking to stop the invasion, a study has warned. The Asian hornet has only been spotted in Washington so far, but could swarm the entire country, according to Washington State University."

Quote: "This could be, if it were to become established, one of the most damaging invasive species that we could almost imagine..."

Coldest air yet this season to be unleashed across midwestern US as October begins

Residents of the Midwest may be wondering what month the calendar flipped to later this week, as a November-like air mass plunges in with gusty winds, spotty showers and perhaps even some snowflakes.

Following a modest cool-down which will push high temperatures 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit below late-September averages early this week, the region will see a more drastic cool-down for the second half of the week. [more]

Should We Be Bringing Children Into Our Dying World?
    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/bringing-children-dying-world-170042089.html

It was a 2018 New York Times article that would change Allie Seroussi’s life forever. The piece, titled Losing Earth: The Decade We Almost Stopped Climate Change, was a historical narrative about the decade — 1979 to 1989 — when scientists first came to understand the climate emergency. What she read scared her; scarred her, even. So much so that she decided she’d never try to have a child of her own.

The NYT piece wasn’t about parenthood, per se, but it painted a grim picture of what lays ahead if we continue on our current path: famine, war, environmental disasters. [more]

Consider this conundrum: when you talk to climate scientists you quickly discover they are far more worried about the dangers of global warming than most of us. Some tell you privately that they have had counselling to cope with the psychological effects of knowing the world is facing an impending disaster and not enough is being done.

Meanwhile, speak to experts on the effects of ionising radiation and you find they are surprisingly relaxed about the risks low-level exposure poses to human health - certainly far less so than most people. [more; yeah, it's their JOB! Real experts have already stated there's no safe dose!]

This “Living” Mushroom Coffin Will Help Your Body Decompose Faster
    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/living-mushroom-coffin-help-body-173000574.html

A coffin made of fungal mycelium and moss can complement natural burial and enrich its surroundings.

Cemeteries are sites of pollution because of the materials we use in traditional burials.

Fungus in particular can absorb tough materials and toxins and process them into nutrients.

A new fungal coffin called the Living Cocoon offers people an option to help their remains biodegrade more naturally. Each coffin is grown from mycelium, the prematerial from which mushrooms are grown. The designers at Loop say their Living Cocoon reduces human body decomposition time from 10 years or more inside a manufactured metal and wood coffin to just 2 or 3 years. [more; what's the hurry?]
