Event Update For 2020-06-29

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Hey Jonny, everyone - good to be home again, but of course now i'm busy mowing overgrown lawn, picking up fallen branches from the big wind that blew through while i was gone, etc., not that i want to waste my time "neatening up for the apocalypse."

Jeez, 3000 new cars (that hardly anyone is buying) go up in flames at once! Well, at least they may get an insurance claim.

i don't see any recovery on the horizon. i think things will continue to deteriorate until the whole system goes down. Some plunges will be deeper than others, but the analogy is a landslide or a sinkhole - where you don't see all the small movement, then all of a sudden it's a mountainside or a big hole.

Is The Nationwide Coin Shortage Being Used To Push Us Toward A Cashless Society?

The coin shortage in the United States is becoming quite severe, and a lot of people are deeply concerned about where this might be leading us. But if you don’t run a business or deal with coins on a regular basis, you may not even know that it is happening. On Monday, my wife told me that a lot of people on Facebook were talking about this nationwide coin shortage, and then on Tuesday Ricky Scaparo posted a couple of news stories about it, so I decided that I better start looking into this. Because if this coin shortage is going to be used to push us toward a cashless society, that makes it a really big deal.

Businesses of all types rely on their banks to supply them with the change they need for their customers, and now many of those businesses are being forced to make major changes because of this coin shortage. [more; it's just like everything else affected by lack of demand (restaurants and bars closed, most people using debit/credit cards for purchases) - but i also think the Fed is siphoning them off, possibly to harvest the metals, or to push a no-coin agenda.]

83 Tons Of Fake Gold Bars: Gold Market Rocked By Massive China Counterfeiting Scandal

one market which seemed stubbornly immune to any counterfeiting was that of physical gold in China, which was odd considering that over the past decade China had emerged as the world's biggest counterfeiter of various, mostly industrial metals used to secure bank loans, better known as "ghost collateral", and which adding insult to injury, would frequently be rehypothecated meaning often several banks would have claims to the same (fake) asset.

All that is about to change with the discovery of what may be one of the biggest gold counterfeiting scandal in recent history. And yes, not only does it involve China, but it emerges from a city that has become synonymous for all that is scandalous about China: Wuhan itself. [more]

Annual U.S. honey bee survey shows Summer 2019 marked highest colony losses ever recorded

The western honey bee, the species used across the country to support food production, to provide a natural sweetener, and to quite simply contribute to our leisure and free time, is among the most important of pollinators.

To mark Pollinator Week, the Bee Informed Partnership (BIP) recently released the results of its 2019-2020 National Honey Bee Colony Loss Survey.

Results revealed some interesting insights into the experiences of our honey bee colonies, and their keepers, across the country this past year.

From April 1st, 2019 to April 1st, 2020, nearly 44 percent of colonies were lost. Losses during Summer 2019 marked the highest ever recorded by BIP during that season, whereas losses during Winter 2019/2020 were the second lowest on record.
