Event Update For 2020-06-16

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

http://watchers.news/2020/06/17/medimurje-region-declares-natural-disaster-after-50-million-bees-were-poisoned-croatia/

Quote: "Croatian authorities declared a natural disaster in the country’s northernmost province after tens of millions of bees died from a suspected case of pesticide poisoning. Beekeepers discovered carpets of dead swarms last week in the region of Medzimurje, near the border with Hungary. About 1,150 hives were wiped out, with about a third of the area’s apiarists sustaining losses, Croatian Beekeeping Association Zeljko Vrbos said by phone Wednesday. 'We suspect pesticide is the cause,' Vrbos said. 'But the investigation is still ongoing, so nothing can be said for certain.'"

Note: Hydrogen sulfide is a neurotoxin, just as pesticides are. I would think at least some of the owners of the apiaries would have noticed a plane flying around spraying their 1,150 hives with pesticide. But a cloud of hydrogen sulfide blowing through in the wee hours and killing the bees, that might very well go unnoticed until someone saw all the dead bees. Hydrogen sulfide is Mother Nature's own natural pesticide. And all around the planet, insects have begun dying off...

Mysterious 'UFO' captures imaginations in Japan
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/mysterious-ufo-captures-imaginations-japan-074821479.html

Authorities said they were baffled by the object, which close-up images taken by local residents and media suggest is composed of a balloon-like object attached to crossed sticks with propellers.

"The object looks like a balloon for monitoring weather, but it's not ours," an official at the Sendai bureau of the Japan Meteorological Agency told AFP on Thursday.

Local police reportedly flew a helicopter to confirm the presence of the object, but also drew a blank on its identity -- even after consulting other authorities and organisations.

The mystery may remain unresolved -- the object has now reportedly floated out to the Pacific, where authorities have lost track of it.

The Appallingly Bad Neoclassical Economics of Climate Change

This is the draft of an invited paper for the journal Globalizations on "Economics and the Climate Crisis". As I've argued for some time, Neoclassical economists—especially William Nordhaus and Richard Tol—bear enormous responsibility for trivializing the dangers of climate change on intellectually spurious grounds. This paper is the most comprehensive overview I've done of this issue, and it includes new material on Nordhaus's misreading of scientific literature.

Despite the growing number of cases, the country has not created a plan to tackle the outbreak. [more]

  6. The 322 thing looks a little bizarre, but I don't know if it's that bizarre. Those were individual daily stats taken from all over the US and the world across 80 days. There are 192 countries, plus those entries included US counties and US states too, so that ups the total number of possibilities to probably around 400. 400 chances times 80 days is 32,000 chances, and they found six times out of the 32,000 times that the number 322 showed up. If the range of new cases in a day is usually in the 1-1000 range then any number from 1-1000 showing up six times in 32,000 chances isn't that unusual.

    ReplyDelete
  7. To be sure, not every country, US state and US county had a news story every day with their new case count. That would explain why they found the number 322 showing up ONLY six times.
