Event Update For 2019-08-19

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2019-08-19 - Hydrogen sulfide spewing from the Salton Sea expected to blow through the Coachella Valley (California), odor advisory issued:

http://news.yahoo.com/smell-rotting-eggs-wafting-coachella-013315335.html

Quote: "Get ready to hold your breath: the Salton Sea odor likely will waft through the Coachella Valley early this week. The South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued an odor advisory through Tuesday due to elevated hydrogen sulfide arising from the troubled inland sea."

Quote: "The ecosystem rapidly began to deteriorate by the 1970s, due in part to the lack of a drainage outlet for the sea's polluted and de-oxygenating water."

Note: Polluted and de-oxygenating water, that sounds familiar. Oh, right, that's exactly what's happening to the OCEANS. Once the oceans rev up into major hydrogen sulfide factories, that will be the end of the human race. The warmer the oceans get, and the more polluted they get, the sooner the human race will be exterminated. The process has already begun...

Quote: "Even though the smell can cause a headache or nausea, there are no long-term health risks."

Note: Wrong. Nobody has done any health studies on the long-term effects of chronic hydrogen sulfide exposure. It'd be unethical and illegal to ask people to breathe poison gas regularly for a study, even at low concentrations, so no study has ever been done. If you breathe this stuff regularly then you're in uncharted territory with unknown consequences. Being a deadly poison, whatever the long-term consequences are, they're not going to be beneficial. And if it's concentrated enough - 1 part per thousand - then hydrogen sulfude can kill you with one breath, and for most people being dead might have some long-term effects...

2019-08-19 - Eleven people have respiratory problems at property on Grange Road in coastal Christchurch (Britain), 3700 feet from the ocean:
http://www.dwfire.org.uk/incident/hazmat-incident-christchurch/

Quote: "2 pumps from Christchurch and an officer were sent to a property on Grange Road where 11 people were complaining about respiratory problems. Investigation and ventilation was carried out by crews and the casualties were left with the Ambulance service."

2019-08-19 - Removing coal, oil and gas from the Earth may be weakening the Earth's heat insulation and allowing more heat to rise from below:
http://www.yahoo.com/news/fossil-fuel-drilling-could-contributing-155350936.html
http://theconversation.com/fossil-fuel-extraction-could-be-contributing-to-climate-change-by-heating-earth-from-within-121331

Note: Seems plausible, and that means we get a double-whammy of heat from burning coal, oil and gas, from the greenhouse gases absorbing solar radiation in the atmosphere above us AND from more heat rising from below due to the weakened insulation layer between us and the hot core of the planet...

2019-08-19 - Car goes up in flames and burns man to death unsuspiciously at Tredegar Park in the Risca area in coastal Newport (Britain), 1.5 miles from the ocean:

  1. An recent article (see first one below) proclaimed that CA could be on the verge of its worst fire season yet. Meanwhile the situation continues to deteriorate on every level. A second article (again, cited below) says that world-wide vegetation shortages may be caused by an imbalance of water vapor in the air, stunting plant. H2S continues to ramp up and cause the ignition of anything electrified and/or with fuel present. Wood is bursting into flames for no apparent reason, (scrap) metal goes up in flame regularly and homes EXPLODE at random. There are MANY MORE factors slowly (for now) closing in on humanity to shut us down.

The authorities never mention the WHY of vehicle fires, residential explosions, boat fires, planes smoking and burning, and people (and animals) dropping dead (or acting erratically). JJFH is the Occam's Razor explanation for all these and more as our host points out at the top of each page.

Don’t Panic But California Could Be on the Brink of Its Worst-Ever Wildfire Season
    https://strangesounds.org/2019/08/california-wildfire-season-2019-worst-ever.html

as we head into the heat of late summer, the state is ready to burn. When the ignition happens, experts warn, it could cause wildfires more intense and destructive than anything California has experienced.

lightning could easily blast into some of the 147 million trees that have died in recent years because of the California drought and invasive pine beetles. What begins as a small fire could be quickly fanned into something ferocious by strong winds brought along with the storm. The resulting wildfire would roar through vegetation dried out by several weeks of hot summer temperatures until it’s so big that any community in its way can potentially be burned to the ground. Atmospheric vapor deficit causing worldwide loss of vegetation
    https://desdemonadespair.net/2019/08/atmospheric-vapor-deficit-causing-worldwide-loss-of-vegetation.html

VPD is important because of its impact on plants. When VPD rises a certain amount, plants react by closing their stomata, the pores in their leaves, to prevent water loss. But this also shuts down the release of oxygen and the absorption of carbon dioxide—partially shutting down photosynthesis and slowing growth. In this new effort, the researchers wondered if there might be a connection between observed losses of vegetation worldwide and changes to VPD in some parts of the world.

Increased atmospheric vapor pressure deficit reduces global vegetation growth [more; link to the study]

Death, Blackouts, Melting Asphalt: Ways the Climate Crisis Will Change How We Live
    https://strangesounds.org/2019/08/ways-climate-crisis-changes-how-we-live.html

Between record heat and rain, this summer’s weather patterns have indicated, once again, that the climate is changing.
US cities, where more than 80% of the nation’s population lives, are disproportionately hit by these changes, not only because of their huge populations but because of their existing – often inadequate – infrastructure. [more]

  2. [oh, and then there's THIS, from our DUH! segment]
Scientists Have Been Underestimating the Pace of Climate Change
    http://www.fasterthanexpected.com/2019/08/19/scientists-have-been-underestimating-the-pace-of-climate-change/

Because the oceans cover three fifths of the globe, this correction implies that previous estimates of overall global warming have been too low. Moreover it was reported recently that in the one place where it was carefully measured, the underwater melting that is driving disintegration of ice sheets and glaciers is occurring far faster than predicted by theory—–as much as two orders of magnitude faster—–throwing current model projections of sea level rise further in doubt.

recent updates, suggesting that climate change and its impacts are emerging faster than scientists previously thought, are consistent with observations that we and other colleagues have made identifying a pattern in assessments of climate research of underestimation of certain key climate indicators, and therefore underestimation of the threat of climate disruption. When new observations of the climate system have provided more or better data, or permitted us to reevaluate old ones, the findings for ice extent, sea level rise and ocean temperature have generally been worse than earlier prevailing views. [here's another warning we can forget about while watching tv]
Huge wildfires in the Arctic and far North send a planetary warning
    http://www.fasterthanexpected.com/2019/08/18/huge-wildfires-in-the-arctic-and-far-north-send-a-planetary-warning/

This summer, over 600 wildfires have consumed more than 2.4 million acres of forest across Alaska. Fires are also raging in northern Canada. In Siberia, choking smoke from 13 million acres – an area nearly the size of West Virginia – is blanketing towns and cities.

Recent fires are too frequent, intense and severe. They are reducing older-growth forest in favor of young vegetation, and pouring more carbon into the atmosphere at a time when carbon dioxide concentrations are setting new records. [more]

  3. 11 Reasons Why So Many Experts Believe That A U.S. Economic Crisis Is Imminent
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/11-reasons-why-so-many-experts-believe-that-a-u-s-economic-crisis-is-imminent

The numbers are telling us that we have never been closer to the next recession than we are right now. The storm clouds that were gathering on the horizon are now directly above us, and suddenly the mainstream media is filled with stories about when the next recession will begin and the effect that this may have on President Trump’s chances of winning in 2020. In fact, there has been so much chatter about this that even President Trump is talking about it. All over television, experts are breathlessly speculating about when the coming recession will begin, and they are dispensing lots of advice about how people should be preparing for it. http://www.fasterthanexpected.com/2019/08/17/the-water-is-so-hot-in-alaska-its-killing-large-numbers-of-salmon/

Alaska has been in the throes of an unprecedented heat wave this summer, and the heat stress is killing salmon in large numbers.

Scientists have observed die-offs of several varieties of Alaskan salmon, including sockeye, chum and pink salmon.

Because the die-off coincided with the heat wave, they concluded that heat stress was the cause of the mass deaths.

The North Atlantic ocean current, which warms northern Europe, may be slowing'

    [guess we'll see this winter]

“We are 50 to a hundred years ahead of schedule with the slowdown of this ocean circulation pattern, relative to the models,” according to [lying (by omission) sack of shit] Mann. “The more observations we get, the more sophisticated our models become, the more we’re learning that things can happen faster, and with a greater magnitude, than we predicted just years ago.” [more; see ~ 6 min. video]

Walmart Sues Tesla Over Solar-Panel Rooftop Fires

    [Jonny in the captain's seat]
Walmart Inc. is suing Tesla Inc. over a spate of roof fires at several Walmart stores that the retailer alleges were caused by Tesla solar panels.

Walmart is suing for breach of contract and alleges “gross negligence” on Tesla’s part for the fires, which it says all started on the rooftops of several stores in California, Maryland and Ohio that had Tesla solar panels.

“To state the obvious, properly designed, installed, inspected, and maintained solar systems do not spontaneously combust [wanna bet?], and the occurrence of multiple fires involving Tesla’s solar systems is but one unmistakable sign of negligence by Tesla,” according to the complaint filed on Tuesday.
