Event Update For 2019-08-14

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "One big piece of news came when the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury notes dipped below the yield of two-year U.S. Treasury notes, a rare occurrence described by market watchers as an 'inverted yield curve.'"

Note: Since 1950, in all of the seven last recessions, the inverted yield curve has appeared before each recession, and it has never appeared without there being a recession. All rules have exceptions, but with a 100% reliable track record with that signal, I wouldn't be betting against a recession. All the news about a 'robust economy' has always sounded like propaganda to me anyway. When most of the population can't cough up $1000 in an emergency, how 'robust' can the economy be?

  1. Great work Jonny! Death worms - i never heard of them until now. Blue-green algae is spreading rapidly in these warming conditions. Following the usual litany of vehicle fires and wrecks there's another long list of residential structure fires and people dropping dead all over the place. Looking at tv (or listening to the radio), you'd think there's nothing wrong! i appreciate your stock market/economic analysis, too.

i put in 2 final short comments last evening, neither of which showed up, so i'll repost the stories below (Dale Earnhardt's plane ran off the runway and caught fire, but everyone is ok; and another that i can't recall immediately)

Missing European Teenager Found Dead in Malaysian Jungle Under Mysterious Circumstances - Another Missing 411 Case?
    https://www.sott.net/article/418607-Missing-European-Teenager-Found-Dead-in-Malaysian-Jungle-Under-Mysterious-Circumstances-Another-Missing-411-Case

Nora's medical condition meant that she was highly dependent on full-time care and, as her mother insists, "would not have wandered off on her own." Her siblings, who were sleeping in the same room as her, did not notice her leave, and CCTV cameras at the resort did not capture her leaving. Even if she had been motivated to do so, it's unlikely Nora could physically negotiate the rigors of leaving the resort and trekking through steep, dense jungle

In any event, multiple SAR teams searched the area, as far as 4kms away from the resort, for 9 days until she was found on the 13th. By then over 350 people had been involved in intensive searches of the surrounding jungle and the nearby river, using helicopters with thermal detectors, drones, sniffer dogs, and even local shamans. The spot where she was found is described as "particularly inaccessible" by the local police chief.

Bizarrely, they found Nora's body next to the Lata Berembun waterfall, which is located 1.6 miles (2kms) from her villa. What's more, she was found at a site that had already been searched. It's not that they missed her the first time; her body was naked and it wasn't obscured by canopy or other vegetation. It was just... not there - and then several days later, just lying there. Pesticides + Poison gases = Cheap, year-round strawberries

[i eat them every morning for breakfast, mixed with other berries, slivered almonds and yogurt]

USDA tests found that strawberries were the fresh produce item most likely to be contaminated with pesticide residues, even after they are picked, rinsed in the field and washed before eating. For these reasons, in 2019, strawberries are once again at the top of the Dirty Dozen™ list.

The USDA's strawberry tests found that:

Almost all samples - 99 percent - had detectable residues of at least one pesticide.
Some 30 percent had residues of 10 or more pesticides.
The dirtiest strawberry sample had residues of 23 different pesticides and breakdown products.
Strawberry samples contained residues of 81 different pesticides in various combinations.

As disturbing as these results are, they do not violate the weak U.S. laws and regulations for pesticides in food. [more]

the wind was up in the second vid
    https://youtu.be/UE_4d2pnzEQ
We had another fast mover roll through this morning that dumped a ton of rain in a very short time. (looks like MO got the bulk of the system) The lighting was crazy. I'm certainly not going to complain today, it's only 75 right now. Now if the sun comes out it will change and get quite tropical very fast around here. For the past two weeks Grove has had a rotten egg/musky odor that gets me holding my breath. There's also been an increase in shootings and random acts of violence both locally and nationally.
There are so many causative things in the wind and rain these days, I'm not surprised by any of this, especially since I live next to a lake.......

  8. Hey Fran! Hang in there! Every forecast of severe weather makes me wonder if this is the one. i see what's happening all over and feel so lucky dodging it all. We're gonna be HOT & HUMID around here for the next week, but i can handle that. It's those straight line wind type storms that scare the crap outta me, with a very large dying oak right outside my back door. i don't have the money to get it taken down, and it's not dead yet (from Monty Python skit) anyway. We suddenly have a great proliferation of bugs, bees, and birds around - and the "night noises" are really loud again (i love it)! i know it's temporary, so i'm enjoying it while it lasts.

Air pollution, especially ozone, tied to worsening lung damage
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/air-pollution-especially-ozone-tied-210114954.html

The more exposure people have to air pollution, especially ozone, the more lung damage they develop over time, a U.S. study suggests.

Researchers already knew that heavy air pollution makes lung disease worse in people who already have lung disease. The new study shows that even among people without lung disease, long-term exposure to air pollution even in relatively 'clean' areas can lead to signs of chronic lung disease, said Dr. Joel Kaufman, a co-author of the study and an environmental health researcher at the University of Washington in Seattle.

The current study focused on four major pollutants - ozone, an unstable form of oxygen produced when traffic and industrial fumes react with sunlight; nitrogen oxide, a byproduct of fossil fuel combustion that contributes to smog; black carbon, or soot, from coal-powered factories and traffic; and so-called PM 2.5, a mixture of solid particles and liquid droplets smaller than 2.5 micrometers in diameter that can include dust, dirt, soot and smoke.
