Event Update For 2019-01-18

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Anyway seeing if anyone else smelled it or if anyone had an answer for it. I feel like it mimics a smell by the Bacara Resort which sometimes has that sulphuric sewer smell."

The Polar Vortex Is Collapsing — Here's What That Means for Your Winter Weather

The blast of Arctic weather headed for the United States this weekend could be a first sign of still worse things to come this winter, with signs that a circular low-pressure system of swirling winds that normally keeps frigid air locked up at the North Pole has been disrupted and split into smaller parts.

The disruption in this counterclockwise-spinning beast, called the polar vortex, is thought to be caused in part by a warm summer over the Arctic and a relatively cold fall over Siberia. The result for the United States and northern Europe? A severe winter lasting throughout February and possibly into March. [more]

Antarctic sea ice dips to record-low extent for early January

Just two years after shrinking to its lowest extent ever measured, Antarctic sea ice may challenge that record a few weeks from now. This depletion comes just as scientists reported a harrowing sixfold increase in the loss of Antarctic land ice over the last 40 years. Unlike land ice, the loss of sea ice doesn’t contribute to sea level rise in itself, but it could help make some of Antarctica’s land ice more vulnerable (see below). [more]

during the past decade the World Economic Forum has asked its members to rank their worries in terms of likelihood and impact, ahead of its annual meeting in Davos. And while this poll is limited in scope — WEF members are drawn, of course, from the global elite of corporate executives, government officials, NGO activists and the media — the results are nevertheless thought-provoking.

This year’s “worry” list, for example, is dominated by climate change concerns: Davosians apparently fear that extreme weather events are becoming more common, and that the world has no effective mechanism to respond. Climate issues account for three of the five risks deemed most likely to materialise in 2019 — and four of the top five risks that could cause the most damage. The only other topics cited are weapons of mass destruction, and cyber risks. [more]

    Care for the Ozone Layer

It has long been known that deterioration of the ozone shield increases ultraviolet-B irradiation, in turn causing skin cancer. Recent research suggest that, millions of years ago, it could also have led to loss of fertility and consequent extinction in plants and animals (see box right). [more]

On Sunday Night, A “Super Blood Wolf Moon” Will Cross Over The White House On The 2nd Anniversary Of Trump’s Presidency

Could it be possible that a “harbinger of doom” is about to cross directly over Washington D.C. on Sunday night? Some people seem to think so, and they are pointing to passages in the Bible such as the one where Jesus warns that there will be “signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars“ during the end times. I am sure that there will be a lot of debate about this all over America as the weekend progresses, but what we do know is that the eyes of the world are on Donald Trump right now, and a “super blood wolf moon” will cross directly over his house on Sunday night. But it isn’t just any ordinary night. It turns out that this will happen on exactly the second anniversary of Trump’s inauguration. Over the past several years there have been a number of very strange “coincidences” surrounding Donald Trump, and now this is one of the strangest of all. Could it be possible that someone is trying to tell us something? [more]
