Event Update For 2018-11-17

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Good morning Jonny and hello to everyone here - welcome to Thanksgiving Week.

In sports news, National Basketball Champion Villanova LOST to Overbrook School for the Blind, oh, sorry - that would be Furman (who?) while the Eagles, National Football Champions LOST to the Seahawks 48 - 7! AYFKM?!!

Meanwhile, back in the real world, things are descending rapidly into collapse mode. Let's look at some stories.

Smoke days are now California’s snow days
    http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2018/11/smoke-days-are-now-californias-snow-days.html

Northern California had some of the worst air quality in the world at the end of this week, with levels of hazardous airborne particulate soaring. With that has come a variety of public-health moves to keep residents safe in the region’s most populated areas. There have been widespread school and university closures. Many businesses have urged employees to work from home. Some public transit in San Francisco has been made free, in an effort to keep people inside as much as possible if they must commute.

In a region whose weather is usually pretty temperate, smoke days have become the Bay Area’s version of snow days. But instead of a joyful respite from work, wildfire smoke mixes a blizzard’s large-scale logistical nightmares with the anxiety of worsening climate change and a class divide that plagues American public health. Three of the five largest fires on record in California have occurred in the past three years, all in the northern part of the state. For the region’s residents, smoke days won’t go away once the Camp Fire is contained. [more]

  2. “The Outlook For The Global Economy Has Deteriorated”: Oil, Copper And Lumber Are All Telling Us The Next Economic Downturn Is Here
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/the-outlook-for-the-global-economy-has-deteriorated-oil-copper-and-lumber-are-all-telling-us-the-next-economic-downturn-is-here

Oil, copper and lumber are all telling us the exact same thing, and it isn’t good news for the global economy. When economic activity is booming, demand for commodities such as oil, copper and lumber goes up and that generally causes prices to rise. But when economic activity is slowing down, demand for such commodities falls and that generally causes prices to decline. In recent weeks, we have witnessed a decline in commodity prices unlike anything that we have witnessed in years, and many are concerned that this is a very clear indication that hard times are ahead for the global economy. Someone is going to shit a brick in the next six weeks, and my bet is that it won't be me.

Two things will happen in the next six weeks which will decide the fate of global markets. First off, more than likely the Fed will increase interest rates at their December meeting (Dec. 19th). Secondly, the massively hyped G20 meeting later this month will be nothing more than a photo-op, leading to automatic escalation of the trade war in January 2019. In the meantime, global macro data will decline every day between now and then. By contrast, gamblers are betting that "all is clear", now that the mid-term elections are passed.
