Event Update For 2017-09-10

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Quote: "Hurricane Irma gave Florida a coast-to-coast pummeling with winds up to 130 mph Sunday, swamping homes and boats, knocking out power to millions and toppling massive construction cranes over the Miami skyline. The 400-mile-wide (640-kilometer-wide) storm blew ashore in the morning in the mostly cleared-out Florida Keys, then began a slow march up the state's west coast, its punishing winds extending clear across to Miami and West Palm Beach on the Atlantic side. While Irma arrived in Florida as a Category 4 hurricane, by nightfall it was down to a Category 2 with winds of 105 mph (177 kph)."

Quote: "More than 3.3 million homes and businesses across the state lost power, and utility officials said it will take weeks to restore electricity to everyone."

2017-09-10 - Glowing orbs in the sky circle 'hole-punch' clouds, location unknown:
http://strangesounds.org/2017/09/mystery-sky-video.html

Note: Seen those glowing orbs in the skies all over the planet in recent years, but never saw them doing that before! The most interesting event involving those orbs, that I know of, was when a fleet of them were stationed all around Sakurajima (volcano) while it was erupting big-time on the coast in Japan, in 2010 or 2011 I think. I believe they were helping to mitigate that eruption using electromagnetic fields or something, so that the volcano didn't wipe out the nearby city. I watched that stuff going on for days, and no human planes would go near that area while the orbs were doing whatever it was they were doing. Occasionally you'd see a new orb show up, or one would leave, like they were working in shifts and rotating personnel/craft in and out of the 'work zone'...

http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/mid-canterbury-selwyn/96726186/cause-of-bird-deaths-inconclusive

Quote: "The cause of death for more than 50 sparrows in Rolleston last month remains a mystery. SPCA inspectors removed the remains of more than 50 dead sparrows from the Moore St area in Rolleston on August 28, sending one bird away for testing. SPCA Canterbury chief executive Barry Helem? said the lab results had ruled out salmonella, but the bird's gut contents were too small to give a conclusive poisoning result. 'Most common reasons [for the deaths] would be disease or poisoning. While poison could not be proved in this case, it could still have been some form of poisoning,' Helem said."

Quote: "The ECan spokesperson said they did not know of any poison being used in the area that could have affected birds like sparrows. In July, hundreds of dead greenfinches were found at the Ellesmere Public Cemetery with no conclusive cause of death."

  1. This was a good'un, Jonny! (not that the others aren't)
First off, the quote made me laugh. Second, one a them giant wind turbines burning ain't "usual," and having it start a wildfire is unheard of. GREAT pics on your banner too - all that flooding is amazing and tragic. You put the weird orbs up at the top! [Thank you! It's one of the strangest things I've ever seen.]
Fifth, Hull has now had JJFH incidents 5 days in a row, unreal!
Finally, you finished off with a bang! Great job, man.

I started my prison gig again last night, helping 12 inmates (minimum security) prep for the GED test in November (when my contract expires). We take breaks and of course I tell them about climate change and weird happenings. One person commented that since the eclipse Texas has lost a city and Florida got wiped out, to which I added all the wildfires and flooding in the rest of the world. I told them that "apparently, the environment is collapsing." Others brought up the fact that there's very few bees or bugs like fireflies around any more. I added that butterflies and bats were having problems too. This is going to be an interesting term, if they're that willing to talk about this stuff. i'm sure we'll get around to government gone off the rails, the police state and corporate poisoning of our food supply. i'll see how they feel about UFO's too.

$150 Billion Misfire: How Forecasters Got Irma Damage Wrong
    http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/dollar150-billion-misfire-how-forecasters-got-irma-damage-wrong/ar-AArKOqd

(Bloomberg) -- Twenty miles may have made a $150 billion difference.

Estimates for the damage Hurricane Irma would inflict on Florida kept mounting as it made its devastating sweep across the Caribbean. It was poised to be the costliest U.S. storm on record. Then something called the Bermuda High intervened and tripped it up.

“We got very lucky,” said Jeff Masters, co-founder of Weather Underground in Ann Arbor, Michigan. If Irma had passed 20 miles west of Marco Island instead of striking it on Sunday, “the damage would have been astronomical.”

By one estimate, the total cost dropped to about $50 billion Monday from $200 billion over the weekend. The state escaped the worst because Irma’s powerful eye shifted westward, away from the biggest population center of sprawling Miami-Dade County.

The price tag for Hurricane Harvey, which struck southeastern Texas on Aug. 25, could end up between $65 billion to $75 billion, according to AIR Worldwide, a Verisk Analytics risk modeler based in Boston. [more; it ain't over yet]

Damage from Hurricane Irma, Harvey Add to Growing U.S. Costs of Climate Change
    https://insideclimatenews.org/news/11092017/hurricanes-irma-harvey-damages-cost-climate-change-global-warming-government-warnings

The hurricanes' successive blows may cost taxpayers more than they spent on relief and recovery in any previous year. And that doesn't factor in the price for this year's other disasters—heat waves, droughts, fires and floods—that are among the hallmarks of global warming. [more]

[one of these days Michael may realize there is no future]

our addiction is so insatiable that we continue to add more than 100 million dollars to our debt load every single hour of every single day.  The national debt is sitting at a grand total of $20,162,176,797,904.13 at this moment, but now that the debt ceiling has been lifted that number is expected to shoot up very rapidly toward 21 trillion dollars by the end of the year. 7. Florida Nuke Plant Did Not Meet Fed Safety Guidelines as Irma Roared
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/florida-nuke-plant-did-not-020115121.html

Operators of a nuclear power plant in the path of Hurricane Irma kept one reactor operating during the cyclone, despite failing to bring the plant up to federal safety code and long-known concerns about the danger faced by nuclear power plants during power outages.

The Turkey Point nuclear plant in Homestead, along the southeast Florida coast, was in the midst of a region with 5 million power outages —"unprecedented," according to Florida Power and Light CEO Eric Silagy — yet kept operating even though the risk of a serious accident rises significantly in a power outage, according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

The plant dodged a bullet — power outages in the state did not ultimately lead to a disaster. But a part of the reactor's all-important cooling system, a piece called the steam generator's feed regulating valve, did fail on Sunday night, prompting engineers to finally shut the lone reactor in operation that night. ZH: Third Bubble In 17 Years: 60% Decline Imminent

Since 2008, the U.S. has become a Third World nation whereby supply and demand has been replaced by supply and debt. It's the same across the entire developed world. Adjusted for debt levels, this is the first non-recovery in global history. Apparently 0% for eight years and trillions in printed money to artificially levitate asset values wasn't adequate testament to the historically garbage quality of this "recovery". [more]

Hurricane Irma won’t “wake up” global warming-denying Republicans, because their whole ideology is on the line – “Climate change detonates the ideological scaffolding on which contemporary conservatism rests”
    http://www.desdemonadespair.net/2017/09/hurricane-irma-wont-wake-up-global.html

As Trump’s address to his cabinet makes clear, however, Irma only makes him want to double down on his reckless economic agenda. Flanked by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, he explained that they were going to discuss “dramatic tax cuts and tax reform. And I think now with what’s happened with the hurricane, I’m gonna ask for a speed up.”
Some have pointed out that this is a classic example of what I have called the “shock doctrine” — using disasters as cover to push through radical, pro-corporate policies. And it is a textbook case to be sure, especially because when Trump made his remarks, Irma was at the very height of its potential threat. [more]
