Event Update For 2017-02-26

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

A team of the world’s top biology experts warn that humans are killing off the animal kingdom by sucking up the world’s natural resources at disturbing new rates, the UK Guardian reports. 'We grab all the fish from the sea, wreck the coral reefs and put carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. We have triggered a major extinction event. The question is: How do we stop it?' Biologist Paul Ehrlich, of Stanford University in California, told the paper."

Note: We don't stop it because stopping it is far beyond the capabilities of human civilization. The extinction event that has begun is unstoppable, and we will be expunged from the surface of the Earth just like the animals we've been wiping out, and not in some far off century either...

When people tell me that things are going to “get better” in 2017 and beyond, I find it difficult not to roll my eyes.  The truth is that the only way we can even continue to maintain our current ridiculously high debt-fueled standard of living is to grow debt at a much faster pace than the economy is growing.  We may be able to do that for a brief period of time, but giant financial bubbles like this always end and we will not be any exception. 2. CIA killed Russian Ambassadors and Donbass Commanders

This episode is taken off political analyst's Valeriy Piakin's channel - his explanation of recent events confirms what many suspect. In the past few months, an unusual amount of individuals in pro-Russian fields of work have passed away. Starting with Arsen Pavlov (Motorola), a Commander in the Donbass region, followed by Russian Ambassadors to Turkey and India; Mikhail Tolstyh (Givi) - another high ranking Commander in the Donbass, and now - Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vitaly Churkin. Piakin's explanation posits that all of these individuals were victims of US intelligence operations - but why?

The intention, according to Piakin, is to remove individuals who stand for the Minsk agreement, so that it can no longer realistically be implemented. The Minsk Agreement (a ceasefire, followed by elections and self-determination in Eastern Ukraine) is counterproductive to the elites' work.

The Clown Is Busy. Hammering The Last Nails Into the Coffin

Ahead of his joint speech to Congress Tuesday evening, Trump is pounding the last nails into the coffin of his fake reflation rally and the dunces who bought into it...

    Perfect. Hold that position

In addition to cutting taxes for everyone and every corporation, while raising defense spending by $54 billion, Trump promises to "spend big" on infrastructure. And just like his kids won't be the ones going to war, similarly, none of this is his money, since we still have no idea if he even pays taxes, being the first Emperor in U.S. history to not release his tax returns [more]

Risk Of Cascadia Quake Elevated As Puget Sound 'Slow Slip' Event Begins: A Cascadia event could cause up to a 9.0 magnitude quake causing a mega tsunami

Most of the people in the US know of just one fault line by name, the San Andreas which runs the length of California, however, just north of the San Andreas fault line is the beginning of the Cascadia fault line which lies off the west coast of the US beginning near Cape Mendocino , along Oregon, Washington State and ending at Vancouver Island, Canada

In 1700 the Cascadia earthquake occurred along the Cascadia subduction zone on January 26 with an estimated moment magnitude of 8.7–9.2. The megathrust earthquake involved the Juan de Fuca Plate that underlies the Pacific Ocean, from mid-Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, south along the Pacific Northwest coast as far as northern California. The length of the fault rupture was about 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) with an average slip of 20 meters (66 ft.).
A slow earthquake is happening under Puget Sound right now, which increases the risk of a Cascadia subduction zone earthquake. [more]

The former reality TV star was arrested and her bail was set at $60,000. Sources close to Jackie, who hosted "Work Out" and "Thintervention," said she had one alcoholic drink at lunch, but didn't drive to or from the restaurant. But, when she returned home, she took an Ambien pill and went to sleep. She woke up in the hospital, apparently with no recollection of ever leaving her home or driving.

Her friends are calling it "sleep driving."

Pals of Jackie said that her outfit at the time of the crash proves she wasn't aware what she was doing -- she was reportedly not wearing pants.

Also, TMZ reports that she blew around a .08 when she was given a breathalyzer test (also something she doesn't remember taking). [more; combo Ambien and alcohol trouble?]

The Final Reality Show: Human Extinction

There is no evidentiary support for a solution to the abrupt, irreversible climate-change predicament in which we are immersed. I do encourage folks to pursue excellence and remember that regardless of how or when we go down, only love remains.

I also know that there are 7.5 billion humans who will be coming to know, slowly at first then rather quickly, their individual and collective fate. Many will try to figure out how to deal with it.
Most will try to figure out how to fix it while keeping the status quo of civilization chugging right along. This won’t work, of course. Civilization is a heat engine that destroys the biosphere and leads to mass extinction. It’s probably not a good idea to keep destroying our fragile planet.
Some will be able to accept the reality and begin to explore the depths of who they are and how they might live out their lives with this knowledge. Ideally they will do this without being attached to the outcome. Of course the outcome has always been certain: We get to die, which means we get to live. [more]

  5. Hmm, yeah, that driving around and crashing and not remembering it stuff - dunno if that has anything to do with taking an Ambien. But it is strikingly similar to the event where the Secretary of Commerce under Obama (don't recall his name) drove around DC crashing into stuff, didn't remember it, and promptly resigned.

  6. here's some follow-up to the magician's death in a closet of the "magic castle":

Magician's death by hanging in Hollywood ruled accidental by coroner

The death of a world-class magician found hanged in his dressing room at a popular Hollywood nightclub called the Magic Castle was ruled an accident on Saturday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Department, an agency official said.

Daryl Easton, 61, touted on his website as a card-trick specialist known internationally as "The Magician's Magician," was found by employees of the club hanged on Friday in a death that police said they were investigating as an apparent suicide.

But the coroner who performed the autopsy on Saturday ruled the death an accidental hanging, said Lieutenant David Smith, the medical examiner's watch commander for the day. He said the finding was that the hanging was self-inflicted, though it was not ruled a suicide, Smith added.

Greenleaf said Easton was known as a "really, really good close-up magician," adding, "He didn't perform illusions. He was known as a card guy."

Her description seemed to discount the notion that Easton may have hanged himself in the course of practicing an illusion that went awry, a scenario that the medical examiner's office declined to address. [more; hat-tip ulvfugl]

By all rights the flagging "reflation" rally should be over tonight with Trump's speech to Congress. Every tool that can be conned is already in the market, while insiders and institutions are selling with both hands...

Base case scenario, the rally is done, and the next piece(s) of macro data will also confirm that the economic cycle is over. At which point, panic will ensue into a no bid market.
