Event Update For 2017-02-10

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Something suspicious about that guy on fire at Wendy's - he WALKED OUT of the bathroom while on fire? The bathroom is the perfect place to be to access water to put it out, no? If I caught on fire i'd RUN for help. Perhaps he was also zombie-fying and wasn't able to make rational decisions. Who goes to a place to eat, then to the bathroom, TO SET THEMSELF ON FIRE? With all the other evidence you've found of people spontaneously combusting, Jonny, I think this is another case.
Good call on the authorities motivation to claim he decided that his burger wasn't up to expectation and decided to end it all by lighting himself on fire in the bathroom, which doesn't hold water (sorry).

i'm beginning to enjoy the fact that many of the military service equipment are failing - attack subs and fighter jets aren't cheap and going into a world recession, their repair may take longer than expected. Replacing them will take even longer.

    Questioning the clathrate gun hypothesis

Paul Beckwith has[n't] wasted any time in coming up with his own explanation of the scientific paper below, Will Methane Clathrate Gun Only Fire Blanks?.

The following is my (Facebook) response:

Reacting to Paul's videos (which I have been unable to absorb or watch in their entirety) I am left wondering why he has been in such a hurry to comment on this paper and wonder if it has more to do with his inner state than anything. Remember his wondering about letting off nuclear bombs? The clue comes where he says that "there is still a climate emergency" but "no proof" of a 50gT burp of methane taking out either human civilisation or the species. He's very quick to want to diss the views of Sam Carana and Guy and I'm wondering why.

Gas hydrate breakdown unlikely to cause massive greenhouse gas release
