Event Update For 2016-09-20

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

2016-09-20 - Mysterious explosion followed by rotten egg odor hits Kirksville (Missouri):

Quote: "Minutes later, employees at US Bank on McPherson Street contacted Central Dispatch regarding a strong gas odor in their building. Kirksville Fire and Police and Adair County Ambulance responded, as well as workers from local utility companies. No gas leak was detected."

Note: They say 'apparent sonic boom'. If so, it's the first sonic boom ever in the history of the planet to result in a rotten egg odor. No natural gas detected either, so the rotten egg odor didn't come from that. Say, hydrogen sulfide is explosive AND smells like rotten eggs...

  1. UNFAIR!! Man, ya can't get a guy all serious readin' this stuff, an' 'en smack 'em up side the haid wit' HUMOR! Some of us are drinkin' COFFEE fer cry-sake, and "park 'n die" just makes ya spew all over yer monitor an' all!
Good one, Jonny - ya got me there.

Ya know, this particular report, like all the ones before it, gives one the impression that human-die off is ever so slowly ramping up. With all the people slumping over, buildings and bridges collapsing, all kind of bizarre traffic accidents, planes fallin' out of the sky - and especially all the ODORS of rotten eggs goin' aroun'. You're right about all the trees dyin' affecting humanity in a fundamental way too. We can add to that the fact that the other half of our oxygen comes from photoplankton in the ocean - which are ALSO all in the process of dying.

This wasn't a happy day and things are beginning to look ominous.

    Let's see what's comin' up.

What could go wrong? Researchers developing 'intelligent' microrobots and genetically modified cells for drug delivery

The questions focus on materials and design: "When designing robots like this, we can't rely on our intuition because, on this small a scale, materials often behave differently than we are used to," explains Nelson. Special 3-D printers have expanded the range of materials used in microrobot design, going beyond semiconductor metals to include polymers. As a result, last year Nelson's team in collaboration with Professor Christofer Hierold's team was able to create a robot from a biocompatible biopolymer that dissolves in the body after completing its task.

In his latest publication, Nelson goes one step further. The microrobots presented there can transform their shape depending on the environmental conditions, which is why Nelson calls them "origami robots". The change in shape can be stimulated by a change in the pH of body fluids, a temperature difference or a light pulse. The robots' plasticity is based on a multilayer structure with different hydrogels. Since the biopolymers expand or contract differently under external stimuli, the robot is able to change shape.

  2. Living In A Van Down By The River – Time To Face The True State Of The Middle Class In America

Do you remember the old Saturday Night Live sketches in which comedian Chris Farley portrayed a motivational speaker that lived in a van down by the river? Unfortunately, this is becoming a reality for way too many Americans. As the middle class has shrunk and the cost of living has increased, a lot of people have decided to quite literally “live on the road”. Whether it is a car, a truck, a van, a bus or an RV, an increasing number of Americans are using their vehicles as their homes. [more]

If the middle class continues to shrink, poverty will continue to rise. Previously I have written about how the number of homeless children in the United States has shot up by 60 percent since the last economic crisis, and Poverty USA claims that a staggering 1.6 million children slept either in a homeless shelter or in some other form of emergency housing during 2015.
