2015 - MAR - Other Stories

2015-03-01 - Hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen and carbon monoxide found in the ground near Chinchilla (Australia):

Quote: "The department has revealed that preliminary tests carried out last week at two private properties at Hopeland, near Chinchilla, showed a positive result for carbon monoxide, hydrogen and hydrogen sulphide. 'The gases identified are commonly associated with combustion and are not associated with coal seam gas development,' said Jon Black, the director-general of the Department of Environment."

Quote: "The gases detected - in the Western Downs region of Queensland by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection - included carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and hydrogen sulfide. The gases are explosive and farmers in the Hopeland area have been advised not to excavate or disturb soils greater than two metres deep without talking to the department."

Note: Carbon monoxide isn't explosive or flammable - it's the leftovers of combustion. Hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide aren't normally associated with combustion unless it's them doing the combusting. So maybe some hydrogen sulfide is rising from below, or some has blown by in the atmosphere and sunk into the ground in this area, and then ignited. That would cause readings like this. Hydrogen sulfide is associated with natural gas - that's what makes natural gas 'sour' - and natural gas is sometimes found near coal seams. The gas IN the coal seams is more or less pure methane, but if any leaks out then it can become food for the ancient anaerobic bacteria and archaea that produce hydrogen sulfide. Either way, bottom line, however it happened, whatever the cause, they've got a deadly poison in the soil here...

2015-03-07 - Agent claims Utah shouldn't legalize marijuana because rabbits like it:

Note: Think of the children rabbits! I wonder if you get a buzz if you eat a stoner rabbit. Someone should do the experiment. I like science, so I volunteer. I'm gonna need some rabbits and some killer pot first though. On second thought, forget the rabbits. What were we talking about?

After a conference call between the Maritime Medical Consultation Center (MMCC) of Toulouse, the Medical Maritime Coordination in Finistère and the CROSS, a medical evacuation was decided."

2015-03-09 - Collapsing sardine population may cause commercial fishing ban off the coast of California:

Quote: "The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration projections show 2015 levels of Pacific sardines would fall well below 150,000 metric tons, the level needed to allow even a modest fishing season. Those figures demonstrate a precipitous crash from the more than 1 million metric tons that the assessment reported in 2007."

2015-03-09 - Mount Lokon rumbles and shows increasing signs of activity in Tomohon, North Sulawesi (Philippine Islands):

Quote: "Also in the same province, Mount Soputan in Minahasa Tenggara regency has shown an increase in activity as of early this year. Four eruptions sending thick smoke as high as 4,500 meters from the peak were recorded on Saturday."

Quote: "A code of high threat to air traffic has been enforced in Kamchatka in Russian Far East following discharge of volcanic ashes by two Kamchatka volcanoes simultaneously, a source from a regional department of the Institute for studies of seismological activity told TASS on Tuesday. A cloud of gas-ash particles rising above the Kluchevsky and Zhupanovsky volcanoes is nearly five kilometers high, it said. A tail of ashes from the Zhupanovsky volcano has spread to a distance of 187 kilometers east of the volcano, and the ash tail from the other one has spread 92 kilometers southeast."

Note: I don't think I've ever seen two volcanoes erupt simultaneously before...

Note: Ah yes, the I'm-too-disgusting-to-arrest gambit! Has that ever worked?!

2015-03-12 - Oceans losing oxygen and becoming increasingly hostile to oxygen-breathing life:

Quote: "The diving patterns of Atlantic sailfish, like this one going after sardines in the Caribbean, and blue marlin helped scientists figure out that many fish are spending more time in shallower water as low-oxygen zones push closer to the surface."

Note: The dead zones aren't just spreading around coastal areas, but are rising from the depths in the deep oceans too. When the anoxic zones reach the surface, they 'exhale' methane and hydrogen sulfide that has accumulated at the bottom into the atmosphere. That's what happened when Santa Monica Bay belched up methane and hydrogen sulfide in California, mentioned in the 2013-03-03 update. That's what happened when the Inner Harbor in coastal Baltimore turned milky green-white, all the fish died and there was a smell of sulfur in the air, mentioned in the 2013-07-18 update. And so on.

This is the ancient extinction event that has once again raised its ugly head. This problem wiped out virtually all oxygen-using life 250 million years ago and it will do the same this time too. What the scientists are (still!) missing is the hydrogen sulfide aspect of the problem and all of the sub-problems that that causes: animals and people going insane and/or dying, fires and explosions devouring our civilization, etc.

We are rapidly running out of time...

2015-03-12 - Responders train for chemical tanker truck crash and fire, in Whittlesey (Britain):

Quote: "Exercise Hotfoot involved the scenario of a chemical tanker which had crashed into another lorry, resulting in an explosion and fire that spread to nearby homes, leading to the evacuation of local residents."

Note: Given all the oil trains and tanker trucks crashing and burning lately, that sounds like some prudent training!

2015-03-13 - Woman sets herself on fire in car (supposedly), jumps off bridge, in Eugene (Oregon), 1 injured:

Quote: "Witnesses report that she was on fire and stripping and ran southbound on the bridge before eventually intentionally jumping off the bridge..."

Note: I'm not convinced she set herself on fire. The rest is explainable by her being ON FIRE - she stripped off her clothes because they were burning, and she jumped off bridge perhaps in an effort to put the fire out with water...

2015-03-14 - Parked cars mysteriously suffer 'hail-like' damage while parked in lot in Limburg (Netherlands):

Note: My guess would be that this particular lot got hit by a small pocket of acid rain, which pocked up the cars and the windows. Hydrogen sulfide in the upper atmosphere will degrade and some of the ensuing chemical reactions can result in acids. Some joggers got chemically burned by rain in the Pacific Northwest, back in 2011 I think it was, and that was likely the same thing, some acid rain...

In the Sacramento and San Joaquin river basins, the combined water sources of snow, rivers, reservoirs, soil water and groundwater amounted to a volume that was 34 million acre-feet below normal levels in 2014. And there is no relief in sight."

Quote: "The chemists have mapped reactions producing two- and three-carbon sugars, amino acids, ribonucleotides and glycerol. Respectively, these are fuel for metabolism, building blocks for proteins, for ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecules that carry genetic information and for fats that form cell membranes. The map shows how they could have formed on Earth’s surface from just hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide and ultraviolet light from the Sun."

2015-03-17 - Sweeping water restrictions hit California as drought intensifies:

2015-03-17 - Huge 200-pound chunk of ice crashes through home in Wilmington (Massachusetts):

Quote: "The ice boulder weighing about 200 pounds landed in the back stairwell of the Avalon Oaks Apartments. Residents who were home when it happened say they heard a huge 'bang' when the ice came crashing through the ceiling."

Note: Methane is flooding the atmosphere now. As methane breaks down, water is formed, so events involving unusual amounts of water are escalating, from record-setting amounts of snowfall to massive flooding, and apparently sometimes large boulders made of ice will fall from the sky from time to time too, if the water is created high enough in the atmosphere, where it is very cold. Let's hope that events involving large ice boulders don't become commonplace and regular because 200-pound chunks of ice would kill anyone they hit and they probably wouldn't be too kind to homes and vehicles either...

2015-03-17 - Lightning strike ignites gas leak and car in Canberra (Australia):

Note: Well, that's the 'official story' anyway. That and five bucks will probably still get you a coffee somewhere...

2015-03-17 - Cyclone heads toward the northeast coast of Australia:

2015-03-17 - Severe geomagnetic storm hits Earth:

2015-03-17 - Two plague locust infestations found in New South Wales (Australia):

2015-03-18 - Popping sounds heard in Walmart, and then people start having coughing fits, in Grand Blanc Township (Michigan):

Quote: "The fire department received the call around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, saying a popping sound was heard near the customer service desk and then multiple people started coughing. A few more people in different areas of the store were also coughing, so store managers evacuated the building as a precaution. Servetter said fire officials still aren't sure what caused the issue, but it could have been something in the store or something that was brought into the store through the ventilation systems."

Note: Some hydrogen sulfide probably got sucked in through the HVAC system, a little found some electrified copper or rusty iron and caused a small firecracker-sized explosion, and since it's a poison and people breathed it, some people experienced respiratory distress. It's not always so mild when this happens. There was a recent HazMat event at a turkey plant in Willmar (Minnesota), where 28 people sickened and some of them experienced 'excited delirium', mentioned in the 2014-10-18 update. The 'excited delirium' - that was their brains being affected, and those people may have sustained permanent brain damage (inability to focus, forgetfulness, etc), along with damage to other organs like kidneys, hearts, livers, although the damage may not show up for a while.

Last April, the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, near the Mississippi River, was evacuated because of an unknown noxious odor that originated OUTSIDE, mentioned in the 2014-04-11 update. Same thing there - gas got sucked in via the HVAC system from the outside air. The day prior to that, in the wee hours, I was outdoors and I smelled the sickly-sweet odor of medium concentration hydrogen sulfide, about 7 miles west of the Edward Jones Dome. I immediately stopped breathing and held my breath and closed my eyes for about a minute, to give some time for the cloud to blow past. There have been many similar incidents in the last few years as the atmospheric contamination has intensified.

So, we've got deadly and flammable poison gas blowing randomly around the atmosphere. It won't always be a gigantic cloud like the clouds of hydrogen sulfide that hit Moscow, Kuwait City, and Seattle, or the medium-sized clouds that hit Rayong, Kingston (Jamaica) or Santa Monica. Sometimes it'll be small car-sized invisible clouds, just big enough to give you time for one breath before it blows on. If the cloud is just 0.1% hydrogen sulfide, that one breath will be enough to kill you, maybe immediately, but possibly with a delayed reaction of minutes, hours or up to two or three days.

Don't count on your government telling you the truth about what's happening. People might freak out, stock markets could collapse, yada yada. In fact, you should count on your government doing all it can to SUPPRESS the truth. If you want to survive what's happening then it's completely up to you to take whatever protective measures you feel worthwhile...

2015-03-21 - Iranian researchers develop nanodevice to detect hydrogen sulfide, at Shiraz University (Iran):

Quote: "The sensor is made of carbon nanotubes covered with copper nanoparticles on a flexible bed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The sensor can detect hydrogen sulfide at concentration about 5ppm. It has a respond time of 10 seconds at this concentration while the return time has been obtained to be 15 seconds. In fact, highly quick carrier transfer properties of carbon nanotubes and catalytic properties of copper in contact with hydrogen sulfide are among the main reasons for the desirable performance of the sensor."

Note: Sounds useful...

Note: Another use for autonomous cars: catching car thieves. Just leave one unlocked, keys in the ignition. Someone gets in, takes off, the windows automatically roll up and the doors all lock and the car drives itself to the nearest police station. Could even have the car make the phone call to the cops to let them know a car thief is en route, and play the call through a speaker in the car. LMAO, that'd seriously freak out any car thief!

2015-03-23 - Huge 7-inch hailstones pound Chinchilla (Australia):

Note: This is the area where hydrogen sulfide has been found in the soil, mentioned in the 2015-03-01 update. Doesn't have anything to do with the hail, just mentioning it because I remembered the name of this place...

2015-03-23 - Two FEET of hail and snow hit Bogota (Colombia):

Quote: "Colombia's capital Bogota was surprised on Sunday by a major hail storm that covered the south of the city with a 24-inch layer of icy snow. The excessive hail caused a number of emergencies across the city. Entire streets became either covered in ice or former rivers, while rooftops were damaged and trees fell down."
