Event Update For 2020-10-25
http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html
The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.
A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Hey Jonny, everyone. Sliding into fall weather as it's been foggy, dreary, damp and cold around here the last couple of days (nights especially). Homemade chicken & vegetable soup to the rescue.
ReplyDeleteWeather gettin' ugly all around the world. 2nd or 3rd wave of Covid cases (whatever that means), more lock downs, protests regarding lock downs, political strife, supply chain breakdown, crop failures and more await us before year's end.
We have large scale evictions, businesses going belly-up, job losses continuing (no stimulus for them though), schools closed, education stifled, and more social unrest. In the background we have all these medical event-caused accidents and sudden deaths, building fires and explosions, infrastructure troubles and more.

Officials are preparing to evacuate 1.3 million residents along the coast of central Vietnam, according to Reuters. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also urged provinces in the typhoon's path to prepare by bringing boats ashore. [more]

Fracking Has [ALWAYS HAD] a Radioactive Problem
https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/fracking-radioactive-problem-183700254.html
Scientists say the areas around fracking sites have up to 40 percent more airborne radioactive particles.
As an unorthodox way to extract materials, fracking has presented research challenges.
Researchers suggest not living within 12 miles of a fracking location.
Harvard scientists have found that fracking is associated with greatly increased radioactive particulate in the air, especially in West Virginia’s dependent petrochemical economy. People who live within about 12 miles of fracking sites are at the highest risk, with ambient radiation as high as 40 percent over the background level.
The data comes from 17 years of measurements at over 150 radiation monitoring sites. Scientists examined these measurements, combined with the location data on more than 120,000 fracking wells. While experts have known fracking can release chemicals into the groundwater in particular, this is the first study to analyze radiation levels. Climate change poses growing threats to vulnerable Africa, UN says
ReplyDeletehttps://www.yahoo.com/news/climate-change-poses-growing-threats-130000323.html
Floods, droughts, hotter weather and a desert locust invasion — the impacts of climate change are hitting Africa hard, and worse is ahead for the region’s food supplies, economy and health, the U.N. climate agency said on Monday.
Temperatures have been rising on the continent of 1.2 billion at a comparable rate to other regions, but Africa is exceptionally vulnerable to the shock, according to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
Warming temperatures are slashing crop yields. Agriculture is the backbone of Africa's economy. [more]

Moms In Utah Develop 'Mom Code' To Not Test Kids For COVID
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/moms-utah-develop-mom-code-152612681.html
Some mothers in Utah have responded to a worsening COVID-19 outbreak by creating a so-called “mom code,” an unwritten agreement to keep their kids from being tested even if they’re displaying symptoms of the disease. Their goal, apparently, is to artificially depress statistics and keep schools open.
One mom told the local ABC station that she first heard about the concept last month and that the so-called “mom code” is spreading on Facebook parent groups in communities in and around Salt Lake City with posts like “Stay home, don’t get tested!” and “If your child shows COVID symptoms please keep them home but do not test.”
This, to be clear, is wretched advice. “Frequent testing allows rapid identification of children with COVID and their restriction from school and sports activities, and this containment actually reduces the rapid spread,” virologist Dr. Larry Corey said. “Frequent testing can actually start to contain outbreaks and move to opening more schools and keeping them open.” [more]
'I will be put out of my house': Some Americans who struggled early in crisis are on brink, others find jobs
https://www.yahoo.com/news/put-house-americans-struggled-early-040109358.html
Overall, the nation has recovered slightly more than half the 22.2 million jobs shed in March and April as businesses restarted and brought back many furloughed workers. But job growth has slowed substantially in the past few months. Some businesses have closed for good. And recouping the remaining 10.8 million lost jobs is expected to take far longer. [more]
