Event Update For 2020-06-27

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

  1. Good morning Jonny & all JJFH readers.

The second half of this year is going to get markedly worse in many important areas: economic, health, government and environment being 4 huge sectors among others, which will also be negatively affected.

War is on the horizon. Strife will blossom in many cities and standards of living will plummet. The food shortages should begin this fall and get steadily worse through next year. Full blown collapse will probably come "faster than expected."

The watery deaths list keeps growing.

'This is hell': Parents and kids hate online classes. Going back to school likely will include more of it.

Despite the best efforts of teachers, virtual learning didn't work. At least not uniformly

America’s educators know little about how to improve the online learning experience – and they’re spending almost no time trying to figure it out before the fall term starts.

"There wasn't a lot in the way of interventions for kids who were falling off," said Robin Lake, director of the Center for Reinventing Education, a nonpartisan research group in Washington state that conducted the study.

"That's a huge problem in distance learning."

When students switch to virtual charter schools from brick-and-mortar schools, their achievement drops, recent studies show. [more]

Heavy rains and floods left at least 12 people dead and 10 others missing in south China's Sichuan province as of Sunday afternoon, June 28, 2020. Since late May, severe weather has left 78 people dead or missing, 12 million affected, more than 8 000 homes destroyed, and 97 000 damaged.

Severe storms brought hail, lightning, strong winds, and damaging floods to parts of New England on Sunday, June 28, 2020. Among the worst affected states was Massachusetts, where a rare flash flood emergency warning was issued and patients from a hospital in Norwood had to be evacuated. [more]

  3. What Will School be Like in the Fall? An Education Expert Weighs in on the Future of Classrooms.
    https://www.barrons.com/articles/will-schools-reopen-in-the-fall-a-qa-with-stanley-litow-51593456890

The priority should be to get kids physically back into classrooms as much as possible. “Online and remote learning is supplemental,” Litow told me. “It’s not a substitute for in-class instruction.”

Options for split in-person and online learning are an educational risk.

School systems need widespread [accurate?] Covid-19 testing to operate safely.

The stakes are much higher than just a few kids falling behind. A long-term loss of education would be a major blow to cities like New York, not to mention the problems working parents will face if they can’t drop their kids off at school in September. “I would put this No. 1 in terms of the economic future and viability of the city.” [more]

Torrential rain is set to hit China’s eastern coastal regions this week after overwhelming large parts of the southwest, inundating villages and tourist spots and displacing more than 700,000 people, state weather forecasters said on Monday.

Nearly 14 million people in 26 different provinces had been affected by storms and floods by Friday, with 744,000 evacuated, the China Daily reported. [more]

Masks Don't Work: A Review of Science Relevant to COVID-19 Social Policy
    https://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/masks-dont-work-review-science-relevant-covid-19-social-policy-0

There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles. [more]

The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective-dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.

The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history. [more]

Chinese scientists discover a new swine flu capable of triggering a pandemic

It possesses "all the essential hallmarks of being highly adapted to infect humans", say the authors, scientists at Chinese universities and China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention. [more; hey thanks!]
