Event Update For 2020-06-19

http://jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com/2012/02/jumping-jack-flash-hypothesis-its-gas.html

The seas, lakes and oceans are now pluming deadly hydrogen sulfide and suffocating methane. Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic water-soluble heavier-than-air gas and will accumulate in low-lying areas. Methane is slightly more buoyant than normal air and so will be all around, but will tend to contaminate our atmosphere from the top down. These gases are sickening and killing oxygen-using life all around the world, including human life, as our atmosphere is increasingly poisoned. Because both gases are highly flammable and because our entire civilization is built around fire and flammable fuels, this is leading to more fires and explosions. This is an extinction level event and will likely decimate both the biosphere and human population and it is debatable whether humankind can survive this event.

A. More fires and more explosions, especially along the coasts, but everywhere generally.
B. Many more animal die-offs, of all kinds, and especially oceanic species.
C. More multiples of people will be found dead in their homes, as if they'd dropped dead.
D. More corpses found in low-lying areas, all over the world.
E. More unusual vehicular accidents.
F. Improved unemployment numbers as people die off.

Heeeyyyy! Still kickin':) Something weird going on with the water temp in Lake Ontario. Last week the thermometer on the boat was reading 51f and yesterday the reading was 75f near Port Whitby Marina. I wasn't the only boater to notice, suggesting that it wasn't an instrument error. That is an unusually short period of time for the temp to climb that fast. By the end of the summer the highest I've seen has been around 82f. Hopefully the trend doesn't continue and it's not related to the 2 npp's just south of here or the fault line that runs through the center of the lake. I think it's definitely under strain judging by the positive relief features on the bottom of the lake and Toronto's unique(as far as I know) bedrock problem. The bedrock problem is that if you make a hole in it for a foundation it must be taken into account that the bedrock will swell, shrinking the size of the hole a certain amount, otherwise the foundation will be crushed. While although I can't think of any good reason why the temp would climb that fast, a npp or a fault line are 2 of the worst reasons I can think of for a rapid temp increase.

...anyway, cheers to survivin' another week!

  2. All I can say is that a 24F temp increase in a large body of water in one week can't possibly be because of air temps, therefore it must be heat coming from below. It takes a vast amount of energy to change water temps in a large body of water that much and that fast, more than can be explained by air temps even if it's been excruciatingly hot for the last week.

    Thanks for checkin' in!

  3. Good morning Jonny, everyone. Great to hear from you again Terry! Spooky, that sudden temperature spike in Lake Ontario!

I'm re-visiting the mixed feelings I get over Father's day greetings from my sons (two of whom are also dads).
Nice, sunny day again here, so it's easier to shrug it off and move on to enjoying their company.

So back to the topic of heating from below, the sudden appearance of deep ocean dwelling creatures and fish suddenly washing up this week, combined now with Terry's observation and the high temps of the Arctic seas really makes me think something momentous is about to happen (this summer, surely).
We can speculate. In the meantime, here are some more examples of our topic.

Suganuma decided to give the fish to the Uozu Aquarium because of its rarity.

According to records kept by the aquarium, a North Pacific crestfish hadn't been spotted in Toyama Prefecture for more than 30 years since one was found washed up at the mouth of the Katakaigawa river in Uozu in 1988. However, eight of the unicornfish either were caught or were snared in nets between February and April last year. [more]

  6. America's Cold War Endgame Plans Called For Nuking Both Russia And China
    https://www.yahoo.com/news/americas-cold-war-endgame-plans-080000426.html

Pentagon war plans already included the destruction of cities as a way to destroy the urban and industrial backbone. “This should result in greater population casualties in that a larger portion of the urban population may be placed at risk.”

“Bomb them back into the Stone Age,” ex-Air Force general Curtis LeMay is reported to have once urged as a way to defeat North Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

But it turns out that had global nuclear war erupted during the early 1960s, it would have been the Russians and Chinese who would have reverted to living like the Flintstones.

U.S. nuclear war plans called for the destruction of the Soviet Union and China as “viable societies,” according to documents revealed by the non-profit National Security Archive. [more]
